K. C. Douglas and Robert Geddins,
and first recorded by Douglas in 1948.
Our version features Jeff Lance on Piano
Steve Lester on the other stuff.
(Steve says that a blue ’54 convertible, exactly
like the one depicted, was his first car, at age 16, handed down by his pap in the 60s).
We'd like to dedicate this recording to our late friend,
David Lindley, who turned us on to the song.
