Hi! Good job on the video 😊 I know it's over a year old but I wanted to add something. I call my glue books my "Happy Journals" I start just like you do. When I put down color, it takes a while. My glue book is out for every art project. I wipe my paint brush, dab my sponges, flick my paint and test my markers on it's pages. I let the toddlers color and the kids water paint in it. I test new art supplies and use the last if the ink pad. That baby is happily colored! 😁

Love this kind of video. Love crinkling paper and packaging. I think you and I are twins separated at birth…and three years. LOL I am getting ready to start my first glue book. I want to be a junk journalist but, alas, I am not.

I’m very new to glue books and really enjoy watching the videos. Everyone has such different styles and ideas. I also like the talking because then I don’t feel alone. I have subscribed so I hope you continue to do more. Thank you 🙏🏻

I love that you're doing this with your granddaughter . Over 60 year's ago, my great grandma did this with me. Each of us grandkids had a book to glue, or back then, paste in. she provided us with newspapers , magazines , old calendars , and greetings cards. I often misbehaved at home so I could go to Grandma Woods' house (to this day I don't know why this happened to me} and then later when i was a teacher, this activity was used to teach sounds and alphabet work. just as a side, my grandmother also did something similar . We each had a tin with ironed on designs on pillowcase , a hoop, and thread. That's how i learned how to embroidered . When my own grandkids were young we would always make summer journals. Even today they talk about those.

Hi Mary! I'm sitting here watching your video for the first and I wanted to let you know that I added a little of water to my inks and they worked good. Just a FYI. I'm a new subbie. Try it before you toss them. Hugs

I like it! It’s very relaxing. In fact, I am starting to work in my 3 ring binder glue book. Carl from California

Enjoyed this video. I had to laugh at your struggle to go from a very precise style to very random. Boy, can I identify with that! Your commentary is great. Some people get on my nerves in the way they talk. You have a new subscriber here.

I just discovered your video. I am thinking I should do a glue book! Maybe have different sections of things! Maybe animals in one section, nature or scenery in another, etc.!

Or maybe I will just do it random on second thought! 🤷‍♀️

Hello and love your video. Great information here. It's so important to remember to let our creativity flow but so hard to let go! This is my struggle and have a few art journals and a glue book I am starting. I tend to gather ( aka hoard) supplies I like when too busy to play and then too overwhelmed to start anything. Helps watching the page come together... thank you. Subscribed today!
