Did you just fast forward..😁😁 Amapiano was firstly originated/dominted from Katlehong and Soweto..*north to south*
Really!? It’s confusing some people say Pretoria some people say Soweto?
Mmm Okay. 1st time watching this documentary and its sad that people are taking credit for something that they don't even know where and when it started. Don't get me wrong I'm happy this music genre to be recognized all over the world but lets give credit where its due. DJ Stokie from Soweto knows exactly where he was getting all the Amapiano produced songs with no vocals just instruments. He might be the one person who made this music known in Soweto but he was not one of the producers, he was not even a producer that time he was just a DJ getting music and play it and that was the best thing because the Amapiano genres grew so fast in Soweto because of him and the likes of Jomo Mjomane. For Bacadi and Amapiano, those are 2 different sounds all together and the people who started with the Amapiono didn't even know about Bacadi when they started producing Amapiano because Bacardi was not that popular. When this music genre started it was not called Amapiano but guys in the hood name it Amapiano just because there were lot of Piano cords on the sound. After all music is music it can have elements of other genres only because the instruments used are the same just depends on how you use them, that's why I called Amapiano the South African Genre because it has almost all the Gentres in it (Jazz, Deep House, Kwaito, Bacadi etc). To be honest this Documentary doesn't do justice to people who really started with this genre. Go to Spotify and check Amapiano Producers catalogs and see the track years and time they were produced then you can tell who were the 1st producers of what we call now Amapiano.
To get the correct information, ask the below producers and personal:
Kabza De Small
Gaba Cannal
JazziQ
Josiah De Disciple
Da Muziqal Chef
De Mthuda
Master Jay
The List might be long as there's few that have not made it to that level in terms of popularity.
DJ Fresh the big Dog himself which I think is the 1st person to talk about Amapiano on Radio station and he mentioned 2 guys (Kabza De Small and Gaba Cannal as one of the 1st Amapiano Producers and none of those guys are from Soweto or Pretoria, just saying :).
I won't pass this documentary as Amapiano Documentary if these guys on my above list are not part of it.
Y'all forget MFR Souls are the pioneers of the sound and they are from the East Rand
Check Roii: La Vida loca
Okay!
The fast forward is spoiling everything. Amapiano is not that fast
It’s for the copyright sorry
Bro, what speed r u playing at?

I like the compliment of The Music, bt poverty is killing our Black community. Kids call themselves 2k generation!! (2000)things they doing dancing to dat Music it's painful, they are the Slaves of Alcohol, People are not working bt small money they get it's Alcohol in Clubs!! Our country is dying and people they don't see!! Education they give our people is Useless, at the end of the day after spending so much in school, you sit home!!
Amapiano did not start in Soweto. The pioneer of amapiano are not even part of the documentary.
Online claims Pretoria 🤔🤔
@@BANGA2TIMEZ It is the truth. 1 lady on the documentary said Amapiano is influenced by Bacardi. It is a music genre from Pretoria. People from Soweto didn't know bacardi until it started trending on TikTok.
@@veemotaung1060 ohh is that the truth 😮?
@@veemotaung1060that’s a lie, I grew up listening bacardi in Orlando in the early 2Ks. Please come with sound evidence before you make those assumptions 😊
@@vuyokazimthethwa I'm from Pimville I studied at Pretoria Technikon now TUT. Bacardi was played in the PTA CBD and all PTA townships but I have never had it been played in Soweto
amapiano doesnt come from kwaito thats a hole lot of bullsiht it came from deep house
It comes from both. A LOT of Kwaito is sampled for Amapiano. Im not disagreeing with you. But i really think Kwaito definitely influences Amapiano greatly
@@Mbalings I think everything has some Kwaito influence honestly. You're right
