So, 69 sevens down - one to go - the 2,000 years mark the church age.
The Church Age ends at the Rapture.
But you may ask - How can we differentiate between the Second Coming and the Rapture?
There are eight contrasts between the two.
THE NATURE OF THE SECOND COMING - The fact that the Rapture and the Second Coming are seen as two separate events, shows that they can’t be simultaneous. This destroys the post-tribulation Rapture theory. Let’s look at these differences:
RAPTURE (I Thess. 4): The saints meet Christ in the air.
2ND COMING: Christ returns to earth. (Zech.)
RAPTURE: The Mount of Olives is untouched.
2ND COMING: The Mount of Olives splits
RAPTURE: Living saints are translated.
2ND COMING: No saints are translated.
RAPTURE: The body goes to heaven.
2ND COMING: The body comes to earth.
RAPTURE: Christ comes for His saints. (I Thess. 4)
2ND COMING: Christ comes with His saints. (Rev. 19)
RAPTURE: The world is not judged and sin gets worse.
2ND COMING: The world is judged and sin is dealt with.
RAPTURE: This is not preceded by detailed signs or warnings.
2ND COMING: This is preceded by specific detailed signs.
RAPTURE: Concerns only the saved.
2nd COMING: Concerns the saved and the lost.

I was saved back in 2020. Born and raised in a cult that claimed to be the only way to heaven. I never felt good enough and that God only loved me as far as I was willing to sacrifice for him. Extreme legalism took me into deep depression and extreme anxiety. Panic attacks all the time. But this drove me to a moment that God used to reveal himself to me. It was in my bedroom where I cried to God repenting and to please deliver me from evil. In that moment I was light as a feather and peace flooded me. I knew in that moment I hadn’t known God and now I did! God speedily showed me the truth about the cult and before I knew it, was no longer believing in myself to save my soul, I trusted Jesus completely and soon got baptized! Then Jesus revealed to me the truth about the pre tribulation rapture. Praise God! Maranatha!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️🩷🙏

I think God brings us to the point where we both cry out with our mouth and with our heart in order to reveal himself. It took until it happened to be and that 3 word prayer was followed by 48 hours if impossible events that changed everything that I am and opened my eyes. I am so grateful.

There is no pre-trib, mid,-trib, or post trib rapture. I don't know who or what you were talking to but? I'll leave it at that!!!! Not trying to spook you in any way but the scripture does not anywhere speak of a rapture 7 years before the 2nd coming!!!!!!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
The 1 million unbelieving Jews crucified in 70 AD is an example 1 Cor 10:11, a false prophecy of peace and safety. "Messiah will come and destroy Romans and deliver them". Today it's in form of secret rapture, don't worry, no tribulation. Dan 12:1, the faithful few will go through time of trouble but unbelieving in a secret rapture will experience the doom of the unbelieving Jews in 70AD in the form of the 7 last plagues, following a doctrine invented by the antichrist the Papacy.

If you are going to use Rev 3:10 to prove a pretrib rapture, then you have to use Rev 2:5…He will remove your lampstand…Rev 2: 10…dont fear what your about to suffer, even being thrown in prison.
You cant pick and choose scripture to support a pretrib rapture.
"I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world". The only trial that comes upon the whole world is the wrath of God. Christians are on the earth during the wrath of Satan. They are opposites.

@@zechariah1398 that’s not picking and choosing… that’s showing that there is a church( a group of people who profess that the are followers of Jesus Christ) that these things will happen to. Every professed follower fits into one of these categories. You may, as a believer, move in and out of these different churches. I personally am praying and working to be and stay a member of the faithful church of Philadelphia. I think every believer should, but that’s really up to each individual.
I get so worried about being left behind, like what if my faith isn’t enough or something. I was baptized and am more conscious of sin but I fall often please someone pray that Jesus helps me have peace and be ready for His second coming

The "Rapture" in the OT in Isa.26:20
Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Yes that shows the order. The rapture before the day of the Lord. But the wrath of Satan is before the rapture of the church.

The coming of the Lord, as described in Thessalonians, is so plain, yet it seems like a hard thing to imagine. We are hopeful, yes, but to realize that it will happen to us as well as for us can only leave us in the sweet anticipation of a bride leading up to her wedding.

Pastor John thank you for your wonderful videos, I love them and wish i had time to watch them all. Originally i had no opinion about the Rapture except that people really get nasty arguing about it, and I wanted no part of that! That all changed in August, when the holy spirit spoke to me, very loudly: be on watch, get ready! I couldn't shake it... tried everything to silence the voice but nothing worked. A few weeks later, I saw the news about Nishimura, which led me to the online community of watchers. I have since been closely following the signs in the sky, and then the war in Israel, and all the other many signs on the earth and in the sun, moon and stars. Im no Bible expert, calenders and numbers make my autistic brain short out... but even I can see what all these signs mean, and that the signs are converging. Rapture or no, God is getting ready to do something really big, it will shake the whole world! God bless you and all who read this 🔜⬆️☁️✝️💜
The unbelieving Jews looked for Messiah to come and deliver them that they wouldn't go through time of trouble. They disbelieve Christ, the Christians fled city and escape destruction of temple in 70 AD. To its same message been preach, a message of peace in form of secret rapture, Christ will rapture the Church before tribulation, no need to worry. This history will be repeated Dan 12:1, God's faithful few will go through time of trouble but will be delivered, bread and water sure, but unbelieving will suffer 7 last plagues. 1 million unbelieving Jews crucified in 70AD is and example of false prophecy.
I can see why people believe in a pre-trib rapture. But the disciples asked him about the sign of his coming, not comings, and the end of the age. He never mentioned a pretrib rapture and neither did Paul. Paul said the rapture happens at his coming (see 1 Thess. 4:15). Although such a thought of a pretrib rapture gives us comfort, God is faithful to protect his own in judgments (see Ps. 91).
John, I started watching you a couple of years ago, because I could see God was with you and spoke through you. I was looking at the time for arguments for the rapture. I sent my dad your videos because he was raised Baptist, and I knew he would like you. I have watched everything you have posted during that time. I read Tim and Jerry's left behind series when it was publish and had always looked for a pre-trib rapture in the scripture for 20 years now, but I never really was convinced. When I would listened to you and others argue pre-trib, I did not feel the holy spirit or hear God when you spoke on this matter. Eventually I found 2 guys rebuilding bomb shelters in northern Israel and ministering to Jews and Arabs alike. Joel and Dalton of FAI ministries did a 40 part video series on the rapture. They went over every single verse that has to do with the rapture and the resurrection. After going through this study... my eyes were opened. It is so very clear now that the idea of a "pre" second coming is not a blessed hope, it is a foolish pipe dream. Christ himself tells us that our own family and friends would hand us over to the courts to be murdered in his name. There is not one verse in the scripture that says we will be magically taken up in the clouds before that happens. The dead in Christ and those who are left will be taken up "together", on the last day, at the last trumpet. We are not appointed to the wrath of God, to be treaded in the winepress of God's wrath at Armageddon... on the last day, at the last trumpet, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will be like blood, and the stars will fall from the sky. This is when Christ returns, for the second time, to gather the dead and the living, together... at the last trumpet. So I shared the FAI app with my father and showed him the maranatha bible studies and the 40 part rapture videos and the 65 tribulation video studies. He watched #3 in the video series where Dalton breaks down the 4 verses which mention the rapture in the scriptures, and he almost had a break down himself. He is so preprogramed to believe that this spoiled generation of Christians will be magically rescued into the clouds and would not suffer persecution as Christ clearly warns us of, that he doesn't want to even listen to the other videos, as they are killing his pipe-dream. So at this point I am trying to get him to see what I now see and to prepare for what is coming and to stop believing in something the bible does not say, but he told me a few days ago that he listened to your video again that day and that you said he would be magically rescued in this blessed pipe dream. I would ask you to watch the FAI series on the rapture and to think about what if you are wrong about what you are arguing, without scripture. What would happen if you are wrong and the pre-trib rapture is the great deception? Do you think many would fall away when they figured out that they would not be magically rescued, but would face the tribulation and the anti-Christ? What would that mean for you for eternity? A life devoted to God, yet to deceive so many to not be prepared, for exactly what Christ said to be prepared for, when we see the birth pains. Not to pack your bags and be ready to be magically rescued, but to be handed over to be murdered in his name, like him, and the disciples, and so many others. I encourage you to watch the study.

Dear Dr. Barnett. I am confused. I thought it was only the Church (priests e.t.c) that would be raptured before the Tribulation? Not Christians or Jews. I thought the dead will be raptured on CHRIST'S return. Please answer if you can. God bless you and us all. Amen.
What about 2 Thessionians 2? IMO it doesn’t matter. I’m ok having a personal rapture as I will die one day.

The early church lived constantly in persecution and tribulation; no wonder they constantly looked for that blessed hope.
Jesus said,” After the tribulation of those days shall appear the sign of his coming.”
Get real, we are now in tribulation, as Jesus said that in this world you will have tribulation.
God delivers us from the wrath of God.
Don’t confuse the tribulation that the church goes through and the wrath of God on the ungodly.
Pre-trib rapture sounds good and I will love it if I am wrong, but the sequence of things leading up to the rapture in 1 Thes 4 says the dead will rise first and then those alive. One of the key questions is, when do are the dead raised to life? Multiple scripture verses in John show that the resurrection occurs on the "last day". This "last day" terminology is stated SEVEN times. Seven times??? Think Jesus was trying to tell us something if the resurection occurs before the rapture? Now the words "last day" has some flexibility because the context is not crystal clear. For many years I bought into things like "one taken and one left" pre-trib rapture argument until I actually read the bible multiple times and looked at the context of what was happening. Overlay it with Revelation and look outside the echo chamber where most seminary degrees make you affirm that you believe in things like a pre-trib rapture and things look more clear. My only point in stating this is, if you are not raptured when you think you should be and you end up suffering, then don't be one of the ones that falls away because things didn't pan out like so many preachers say they will. I fear many will fall away just because of this. I hope I am wrong.

I can think of only ONE thing that would make people inclined to give up their country's sovereignty and their freedom to follow one person (antichrist), one religion, and one government that is the rapture of a billion people. The people will want someone to soothe them.
If they would just teach it as it actually is, the resurrection of the dead. Jesus talking to the Jews and all the Jewish literature in Old testament talks about the resurrection of the dead and Paul starts talking about the resurrection of the dead and then those who are alive and remain will also be caught up. If you take all of the verses that talk about what they call the rapture and put them all together they're all talking about the exact same event which is the resurrection of the dead at the last trumpet meaning the seventh trumpet in the book of Revelation. It could not get any clearer once you put these verses and write them down on top of each other and you will see that they're all talking about the exact same event just like Daniel chapter 12. Read Daniel chapter 12 and after the resurrection of the dead it goes on to talk about what will happen next. That's when Malachi chapter 4 comes into play where wickedness is cleansed from the earth and those who were faithful to believe in and follow Jesus will rule in reign for a thousand years. If there is a LAST TRUMP, there is a FIRST TRUMP. If there is a high calling, there is a lesser calling. The bridal remnant will be a joint heir as husband and wife. The bulk of the church will be only heirs as children.
The barley bride is taken up in Rev 4 at pretrib, where he tells John, "COME UP HERE!". This is a very small remnant of the church that leaves at pretrib. All christians are called for this HIGH AND HEAVENLY CALLING, but few will be chosen. The bulk of the church is in a DEEP SLEEP like Adam. While Adam ( the church) slept, God was forming a bride from a rib ((TAKEN OUT OF)) Adam. This is a rib portion, a very small remnant that makes up this bridal company.
The bulk of the church has spots and wrinkles in their robes that will be cleaned in the first part of the tribulation period. How do they have wrinkles in their robes? They are in a deep sleep! When you're lying down in these robes, they get wrinkled. They have spots because of false doctrines.
There is a pretrib rapture, and the bulk of the church will reject the truth. The Lord will use this bridal remnant to speak in these last days. This remnant will be a mouthpiece unto God. She will be rejected by the church and the world before she departs.

The truth will get many angry. It will be a stark contrast of things you learned your entire life! The verse about John being caught up at pretrib is only one verse of many that typifies pretrib. Lord has it beautifully woven from the Old to the New Testament. We will go to heaven by ranks, just as Paul said.

Our blessed hope is not a pre-tribulation rapture, it's the second coming. The 70th week which you like to refer to the antichrist is about Jesus Christ. Satan doesn't make any covenants with people, it is the last 7 years starting when Jesus began to preach confirming His covenant with the people through His teachings , the fulfillment of prophecy concerning His death burial and resurrection, and when He appeared after His resurrection to the disciples He told them to go ye first to the children of Israel. From that point they had everything concerning Christ to be the Messiah, He sent the disciples out for the next 3 1/2 years to preach it, but when Stephen spoke before the leaders of Israel, they rejected Christ and stoned Stephen at which time Paul became the minister of the gospel not only to gentiles but to all. This is where the 70th week ended and Christ confirmed His covenant with many during this time through Himself and His disciples where their house was left to them desolate. The pre-tribulation rapture is a lie and deceiving many. There is no second chance gospel, no special anything for a literal nation who rejected Christ. It's desolate. God bless.

Does this not mean that the Day of the Lord Wrath starts AFTER the time of Great Tribulation? AND doesn't Jesus describe this time of Great Tribulation, and then give us a warning sign (ALL warning signs come BEFORE what they are warning about) Does He not say AFTER describing the tribulation, "THEREFORE when you see the Abomination of Desolation...flee?" This means the time of Great Tribulation starts AFTER the warning sign, which is the mid-point, then immediately AFTER the warning sign, according to Jesus Himself, comes the signs in sun and moon that Joel says, comes BEFORE the Day of the Lord.
I was a pre-trib believer for five years, but in the last 35 years of constant study, I have found too many inconsistencies in the pre-trib view. By the way, I have been attending a Calvary Chapel for 25 years: I love my pastor and my church, even though I don't agree with the pre-trib viewpoint.
There are too many assumptions in the pre-trib. For instance, there is not a single verse that even hints that the Holy Spirit residing in the church is the restrainer of the anti-christ.
Jesus, speaking of the time of Great Tribulation, says, "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be..." AND Daniel 12:1 says, "At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book." Some critical thinking will cause one to understand that Michael is the restrainer. Jesus and Daniel have to be talking about the same tribulation because EACH says it is the worst.
Revelation 3:10 says, “I will keep you from the time of testing coming upon the whole earth.” Sounds like pre-trib, BUT the word translated "KEEP" above is the Greek word tereo and it means “to guard by keeping the eye upon.” It does NOT mean to protect by taking us out before the tribulation starts. Don't take my word for it, look it up in a Greek Concordance. It's the same word translated as "KEEP" in John 17 where Jesus says, "I am not asking you to take them out of the world but to "KEEP" them from the evil one."
By the way, where does the Bible say the 24 elders are those who got raptured before the tribulation? Couldn't the 24 elders just represent Christians who have died? Maybe Stephen (the first Martyr for Christ) was one of the 24.
Also, the first chapter of Revelation says, "The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place." This means that the point of the book of Revelation was to REVEAL what will come to pass. So Jesus opening the seals, and the trumpets and the vials are to show John what to write in his messages to the church.
2Peter 3:10 says, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. We KNOW this does NOT happen in the first three and a half years of Daniel's 70th week, because the anti-christ doesn't break his treaty with Israel until the mid-point of the seven years in the Abomination of Desolation. He couldn't be keeping a treaty with the atmosphere gone, and the elements melted, and the earth and all its works burned up.
Pre-trib theologians will say the tribulation period is another name for Daniel's 70th week. BUT, Jesus speaking of the time of Great Tribulation says, "If those days are not shortened, all flesh would be destroyed, so for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened. Daniel's 70th week can't be shortened, even by a single day. Speaking of Daniel's 70th "It first mentions “1,260 days” which is three and a half years using the Babylonian calendar, then it says, “From the time the sacrifice is abolished (mid-point) there will be 1290 days.” Then it says “Blessed is the one who makes it to the 1,335 day.” If Daniel’s 70th week is cut short by just one day, there would be no “1,335th Day!”
Pre-trib believers will say, "When Paul wrote, “we who are alive and remain shall be caught up…” it was because he believed in the imminent return of Christ. It is scripturally impossible for Paul to have written the word “we” because he thought he would be alive at the time of the rapture. He indeed may have thought such a thing, but he only wrote exactly what the Holy Spirit told him to write. 1st Peter 1:21 says “For prophecy never had its origin in the will (mind) of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
The pre-trib believer will say, At the Rapture Jesus comes for the Church, at the 2nd Coming He comes with the Church. This is not found in scripture. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-15 says, “For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring WITH Jesus (at the Rapture) those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend…” The Bible actually teaches that whenever the rapture is (pre, mid, post etc.”) Jesus comes with the “dead in Christ” and for “we who are alive and remain.” Since approximately 49 generations of Christians have died and gone to be with the Lord and only one generation is alive right now, Christ will actually come with the vast majority of the church (the dead in Christ) and for a tiny remnant; those who are alive and remain.
The pre-trib believer will speak of the imminent return of Jesus Christ. No scriptural evidence. Actually, the sign in sun and moon, (Joel 2:31) the great apostasy, and the man of sin (anti-christ) being revealed by the abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:21) all come before the Day of the Lord. Since Christ’s return for the rapture is in conjunction with the Day of the Lord, then it can’t be imminent. Also, since in Pre-trib theology the church being raptured would allow the ant-christ to appear and sign his seven-year treaty with Israel, then there must be a nation of Israel. Remember, there was no nation of Israel from 70 AD to May 14, 1948. So, at the very least, Christ’ coming couldn’t have been imminent until May 14, 1948.
The pre-trib believer will say, The imminent return of Christ is a teaching of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit knows full well when Jesus will return for His Church, and it’s already been two thousand years. How could the Holy Spirit have taught the writers of the New Testament that Jesus could come any moment, when He knows everything, including the exact date of the rapture?
The pre-trib believer will say, There is a difference between “coming” and “appearing.” Hebrews 9:28 says “Christ was sacrificed once (the first coming) to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” “Appear a second time,” is calling the first coming “an appearing.”
I have heard pre-trib pastors say, Noah and his family got in the Ark and had to wait seven days for the flood; representative of being rescued in a pre-trib rapture with final punishment of wicked seven years later at Armageddon. HOWEVER, Genesis 7:11-13 says, “In the 600th year of Noah’s life on the 17th day of the 2nd month the great fountains of the deep burst forth and the windows of heaven poured down rain. On that very day, Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.”
In Pre-trib theology, the Rapture of the Church (disappearance of hundreds of millions) the Day of the Lord Wrath and signing of a seven-year peace treaty with Israel by the “anti-Christ” happen/start on the very same day: the first day of Daniel’s Seventieth Week. This is problematic for the “pre-trib” camp, because Jesus does not mention the first three and a half years at all in the Olivet Discourse. REMEMBER, in talking about the time of Great Tribulation, Jesus gives a warning sign; the Abomination of Desolation, that Daniel says, comes at the midpoint of the seven-year treaty signed by the anti-christ.
Again, I have zero animosity towards any pre-trib theologians, pastors, or believers. I attend a Calvary Chapel who is 100% pre-trib.
If your hope is in a pre-Trib rapture, you're going to be sorely disappointed when it doesn't happen. A lot of "Christians" are going to be absolutely confused and looking into a bible wondering why they weren't zapped out of their clothes and into Heaven.

According to you all Christians are going to be killed during the tribulation. I don’t quite see the “blessed hope” in that. The word rapture does not occur in the Bible. The term comes from a Latin word meaning “a carrying off, a transport, or a snatching away.” The concept of the “carrying off” or the rapture of the church is clearly taught in Scripture.
The rapture of the church is the event in which God “snatches away” all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out on the earth during the tribulation period. The rapture is described primarily in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. God will resurrect all believers who have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with all living believers, who will also be given glorified bodies at that time. “For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. The Church (Body of Christ ) is not going to be "raptured". She will receive her perfection only in the glory of heaven at the time of Christ's Second Coming. Until that day the Church progresses on her pilgrimage amidst this world's persecutions and God's consolations. The Church, and through her the world, will not be perfected in glory, without great trials. Only then will all the just from the time of Adam, from Abel, the just one, to the last of the elect, be gathered together in the universal Church in the Father's presence.

Interesting that the Rapture was so essential a doctrine that for 1800 years, yes, 1800 years, it was unheard of in the Christian Church. Do your homework, please, and learn that the idea was the brainchild of an Anglican cleric called John Nelson Darby who went on to found the Brethren movement. Sadly the unbiblical nonsense took off in the USA and was popularised by Scoffield, Moody et al. Which has brought us to where we are at today where the Rapture is taught like it was some absolutely essential doctrine. Because Protestants believe in a "Rapture" they have to look through the Bible and find Scripture that somehow affirms their belief. The Scripture they use to justify their belief is 1. Thess. 4 : 16-17. "the dead in Christ will rise first". Darby did not use any Scripture to justify his belief, because there was no Scripture in the Bible. This event makes it crystal clear that this will happen at the Second Coming. If the dead in Christ rise first, at the "rapture" then sometime later they will have to die again and be buried again to rise again at the Second Coming.
The resurrection of ALL the DEAD, of BOTH the JUST and the UNJUST will precede the Last Judgement. This is Scriptural.

The final company, caught up at midtrib, before the open door is shut, are the grapes that are gathered at midtrib. The grapes are the 144,000 Jews. Located in modern-day Lebanon, Byblos was a Phoenician port city known for its export and trade of papyrus. Because of this association, the Greeks likely took the name of this city and adapted it to create their word for book. Many familiar words such as bibliography, bibliophile, library, and even bibliophobia (fear of books) are based on the same Greek root word.
