Since the original 'backing onto the newsroom' set in 2004, as of 2021, what angle is the current set at, seeing the change shown in the video appears to be 90 degrees, so would the as of 2021 set be a further 90 degrees turned round, with the presenters facing the newsroom, instead of having it as a backdrop?
If you refer to the 2017 set, it was in the same orientation as this one was. The studio is constructed ever so slightly longer on the back wall, giving more room for set dressing and screens. The latest set keeps this orientation. While it does give more room for set, screens and suchlike it removes flexibility for camera angles as the cameras have 2 metres to play with meaning less creative shots.
