Pulled a foil Cruel Ultimatum in my first pre-release kit. Probably wasn't the ideal decision to put it in my deck, but was able to resolve it a couple of times during the tournament.
15:55 Timeless has "digital only" Alchemy cards, but not "rebalanced" Alchemy cards. All cards appear as originally printed (whether in paper or in digital).
Man...I was so confused..."didn't I watch this video already?!?!" - "Nope...uploaded 3 hours ago!" Then I remembered, that I actually caught this live *facepalm*
I never played real tournaments or anything like that, but my big brother got me into MTG and cruel ultimatum was the checkmate of cards, whenever you opposed a deck with it you had to make sure your opponent never had the opportunity to play it, bc it WILL change the entire landscape of the game
Crims bm game is top notch. You can't even be mad when there's nothing but "what in tarnation" spam after an overloaded mastery. Just watch the show, lose (only emotes when winning, when hes losing the opponents spam right back and he takes it laughing) laugh.
Opponent: Exists.
Crim: They're probably playing mill.
You tend to see yourself in others.
Meanwhile opponent:
200 card deck
I guess _"What in Tarnation?!"_ is the new _Crowdsurf the Karn._
"Brinefang means he has pickles for teeth" LOL
Easily one of the best sentences spoken by a... a... person... like, ever.
"Oponent show me your Bolas" had my Spanish ass lol
Someone had to say it hahahahahahahahahahahaha
And then they had it! I had to stop the video to laugh!

Optimal for winrate? Certainly not. The correct choice for fun and Being The Guy Who Played Cruel Ultimatum In Sealed? Absolutely.
Find yourself some who is as happy at seeing you as Crim is when he see's cruel ultimatum

why was it obvious that crim will build a grixis ultimatum deck as soon as its in arena?
Crim is just very clear what he is about.
The odds would not be worth betting on hahaha
Time to roll the Crim Roulette: is he actually going to cast the spell he built this video for?
CAST YOUR VOTES!
I mean he cast a bunch is Mizzix Mastery, but not really any Cruels lol
15:57 Can’t pick and choose your Alchemified cards in Timeless 😔

For a deck reliant on Mana Drain, there seemed to be a dearth of cards with generic mana costs...
I mean, it's basically just better counterspell. Still good!
DAS WHAT THE BRINEFANG IS FORRR (and the troll and stuff)
I was waiting for this after CU was spoiled...
Just FYI, in Timeless you play with cards as printed even if they have an Alchemy variant.

Beautiful to see someone so in their element
What in Karn-ation!?
It's so good casting a Cruel Ultimatum that's for sure. Get em.
"Brine Fang means it has pickles for teeth" needs to be a t-shirt
This is a proper Crimy Crim deck if I ever saw one.
It always amazes me how many people you encounter with massive decks lol
my lgs does a two headed giant prerealese, and my teammate cast cruel ultimatum turn 5. In sealed.
“brine fang means it has pickles for teeth” LMAO
Out of curiosity, why is reenact the crime not in here?
Awesome deck!
Cruel ultimatum won me every one of my prerelease matches
Sweet deck!!!
I love cruel ultimatum but i hate paying for it! If only there was a solution!
Crim you gotta move to your second main phase if you're gonna hold up Mana Drain on your turn! Come on you know this!
9:40 What art is on this treasure here?
I think it only appears on digital and is specific to Vraska, Betrayal's Sting.
Picklefang for the win
No crowdsurfing the Karn anymore?
omfg during the second game when he mana drained the bolas crim could have overloaded the mizzex-mastery
Spree seems spicy with mana drain.
What in tarnation??
What in tarnation?
Imo, Lórien Revealed would be a better island cycle card 🤣
Are you Bolas-y enough for the Grixis club?
My favourite part was when Crim said "It's cruelin' time" and then he crueled all over the opponent
Lovely
Why run brinefang instead of lorien revealed?
It's a creature you can get back off of Cruel Ultimatum.
Crim doesn't crowd-surf the karn anymore 😭
why are you discarding to ill-time explosion when there are no creatures on the board to wipe out? you know its a "may" ability correct?
okay nvm he caught it, lol
I like that crim swears, not so much that it's excessive but just enough that it still has a little punch
Hey crim, Im curious. How many matches did you have to play till recording 7 people that didnt play omnishow or necrostorm?
200? 300?
I haven't seen an Omnitell deck on the ladder ever since OTJ had been released.
Wish I loved anything as much as Crim loves the ugliest full art promo version of a Land
Imagine thinking mana drain, a 1 for 1, is better than cruel a 8 for 1, in the best color. couldn't be me smh
The crimest deck we have seen in a wile

why do you refuse to overload
should have watched the whole video
Crim videos 🫶🫶🫶
Is every Crim video full of questionable decisions?
Also questionable guesses at what opponents' decks actually are?
First
What in tarnation?
