Thank you Ms. Holly. I truly enjoy watching your soapmaking. I have now made 3 batches. My first batch was ok , but my second got better , and my third one is really good , or so my family says. Each one of my siblings and my descendants all have different skin problems. I just want to thank you for inspiring me to be able to go more natural without all the chemicals , in taking care of my family!!!!!!! God bless you and know that you are in my prayers.
I love how real you are. You are definitely not a goober your adorable lol… and that freezing fog was definitely awesome, it’s to bad we didn’t have that for Halloween. It was kinda spooky… love the soap. Have a blissful thanksgiving! 💜💜💜
I love it, and i just love how we get a background view now!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! once again, i'm very happy to see you back up and running. super happy to see some lovely looking soap being made! hopefully the house is coming a long :) happy thanksgiving! much love the PNW!
I love how you just roll with the punches, "and we'll just be happy with it." lol I learn something every time I watch one of your videos. Thank you for being you and sharing your passion with all your viewers.
Oh my friend! I'm from TN and say both TD and Vanillian the exact same way. You are not alone. ❤😂 you rock and thank you for the beautiful videos and content.
Might look into something called a pinecone stove. It's a tiny wood stove that would heat your space with a couple pinecones a day. And beautiful soap!
I feel you. I grew up on a farm with a wood furnace in the basement so the house was too hot at night yet freezing by morning, heat lamps in the well house and busting the ice every morning before school so the livestock could get to their water.
Hey! Thanks as ever. I would not have used the purple colour personally. But you proved me wrong with the result. Lovely and fresh looking soap bars. ❤
Love the soap! Vanilla, may be the proper enunciation! But a lot of people could costly mistakes; if they are new, and don't know that's vanilla! At the end of the day your soap beautiful!
I miss making Soap..I haven't been able to make any Soap for a long while, because were we are living now...I am hoping to have a shed here soon so I can start back up...I've been resorted to making Jewelry and Invitations because of limited space for the last 2yrs...This is so pretty and you did an excellent Job. Can't wait to see the new improved site!
I was so happy to see you had posted another video today! Also, go see a chiropractor for the numbness and tingling in your arms. They’ll be able to help you out!
So happy to see you back to soaping and making videos again! I actually wanted to ask you about your mini-split to see which one you went with and how many sq ft you're covering with it? We're putting a new building on our farm currently (running all those utilities is fun, huh? 🤣) and we were planning a mini-split for a 900 sq ft soap studio portion of it so it's all separate from the rest of the building. Good luck with your build and can't wait to see more videos! ❤
Thanks! I think a lot of it is the location. We have the mini split up high and if we had a ceiling fan, it would blow that heat back down. We have the mini set at 80 and it keeps it 65 in there. The problem is that I don't want a ceiling fan because it will blow the dust around in the workspace. The mini is energy efficient so it is more cost effective to crank it up than to supplement with heaters right now. I think they are amazing as air conditioners but maybe not the best for heating.
@@moriversoap Ah, yeah that totally makes sense and good to know! I'll have to keep that in mind for placement when we install. Glad to hear they hold up well for AC though - you know how those MO summers are! 😄
Hi Holly, so glad to see you back to soap making. You inspire me. My personal preference to heat your studio is a woodburning stove. Easy to install and will keep you warm while you are working! I have a question. I have never made soap but I hope to experiment this winter :) Do you leave your soap out at room temperature? I have seen people put them in ovens and insulated coolers to go through "gel" phase. How do you do it, if you don't mind me asking? Wishing you the greatest success in Montana!
Thank you Sheila! I have thought about the wood stove but I'm afraid I'm not out there enough to monitor it. I need something that will maintain a temperature when I am not there, overnight, etc.. But it would be so cozy! I typically just cover my molds with a flat piece of cardboard or a plastic tray. The molds are wood so the soaps gel without towels or anything additional.
That looks very nice Holly and the scent really sounds nice! Thanks Holly, can't wait to see your soap line ups. Will you be making bath bombs again? I hope so 😊.
This drop is gorgeous! About the pronunciation it doesn't matter at all cause if you're like me , I'm country grown and that slang is gonna come out in your speech! ❤ It's a joy to get time to watch u when I get a chance! I have the numbness and pain with cracking going on as well as dizziness that comes from tubicular neuronitis which at times has thrown me into the floor at anytime cause it could happen in any position (standing or laying) & this condition can promote vomiting out of the blue. Low & behold I also have Achilles tendonitis with a bone spur poking straight into my Achilles! I feel awful but keep going no matter what cause if I slow down I actually feel worse. Not to mention 2 bad knees! 🤯 I have 2 grown daughters outta the house, 1 grown son still here and 2 teen boys and raising my only grandchild Hollee so who can slow down with that😅 so I understand your pain!
Thank you! Oh gosh you sound so busy! Your health issues are a pain too! For reals! I understand powering through. I feel better too if I just keep going.
It was such a pretty soap! It had red/pink, purple, gold, and white. I swirled it up and put cranberry seeds on the top. It had a sweet berry blend with a hint of spice. So good! Maybe next year it will come back.
Wow, that is just gorgeous! I'm a new soaper and made my first soap but when I wrapped it in towels to keep it warm for gelling the top got messed up from touching the towels. Does it really need to be wrapped up and kept warm like that?
Thanks! You'll want to put a solid lid on the top so that doesn't happen. I like to use a flat box (not put together). Covering it will help to prevent ash. Now whether you need the insulation or not to complete the gel is a different story.
I’m new to the soap side of things but I want to learn. I’ve gotten mix reviews for curing time. How long before you can put your product out there for sale? I hear 24-48 hours then 2-3 weeks. But the bar came out beautiful!!! 🤩
Thank you! First of all, I would like to clarify that you need to be making soap for well over a year (preferably more) before selling. There is a lot to learn and it's important to find a recipe you like and thoroughly test it before offering it to the public. For the question you asked, soap needs to cure at minimum for four weeks. The soap will be best at 6 weeks or more.
I love the snowy exit scene! I'm praying at this point that I'll be able to place an order when you open the website. Things have gotten a bit hairy this month. As for the way you pronounce words... don't fret! Anyone who lives in a southern state for more than 5 years after living in the northern part of the States gets a pass. We develop a whole new accent from everyone else! I hope y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hi Holly, it’s me lea I just want you to know that I added my AOL email address and I also added my Gmail address. Thought I contact you and let you know.

You’re so cute, honey…😊 I’m so glad you’re making videos again!❤
I'm never calling it anything but "Van Halen" now. 🤣🤣🤣
yes! that part made me laugh out loud!
I’m sure people will be understanding
You pronounce vanillin just fine. I don't know why the syllable emphasis would change from vanilla.
Holly, it is great to have you back!! 🎉

Tell us about the autumn berry, Holly. 😊
It was such a pretty soap! It had red/pink, purple, gold, and white. I swirled it up and put cranberry seeds on the top. It had a sweet berry blend with a hint of spice. So good! Maybe next year it will come back.
Lol! I'd always thought it was pronounced vanillin too, but found out it's more like "vanna-lin".
But the soap is beautiful!
Two "correct" pronunciations: VAN uh lin, and va NIL in.
Lovely soap, thanks for sharing the techniques. Like your equipment
Best from India.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving Chloe!
What about a ceramic heater - don't know about them but apparently they hold the heat???
I will look into. Thanks!
Shall we do…. Buttered rum? 😏🤌🏻❄️
Oh that's such a great soap! It was off my radar for this year. I hope to really get up and running properly next year.
That pour was such a joy to watch and the swirls came out amazing. Do you use micas to color your soaps?
Thank you! Yes, I use micas.
Hey Holly 👋 💗
I'm glad you didn't use the hanger tool xx December 1st is my birthday xx
Happy Birthday coming up!
How is the house building going love see you back we have missed you

Hey!
Vannnnnillian
Very nice beautiful drop swirls! You are so sweet!
I swear there is something different about you!
Respectfully it's pronounced Van-a-lin spelled Van-illin.
I don't know what to tell y'all but the first 4-5 videos available on the pronunciation is how I say it so...🤷♀️
