@@stevesnaps1 thanks Steve! It’s a very special river, beautiful landscape and there’s some real specimens lurking in the deep, mysterious waters! Glad you liked the format 👍
Thanks Lynn, it is an art that not many people do anymore. Have you seen Pat Weiss (Fulling Mill)? He has been doing it for 30 years and I have fished with him. I do not use braid though. Cheers
My favourite channel. Love your films, miss your voice on the new films. Your tone is as relaxing as the cinematography. Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year.
@@Moosequito573 that’s great to hear! Really appreciate the feedback, I’m sure I’ll be speaking on some videos in the future. Just experimenting with different formats to see what works best for myself and of course the audience, based on feedback. Merry Christmas 👍
@@Daleparker-t1h thanks Dale, glad you enjoyed the video. As far as I’m aware, you can only purchase day permits for this beat via this link: www.fishingpassport.co.uk/fishing/upper-wye/dolgau
Merry Christmas Philip! Yes, I often grease up my indicator to enable it to lay flat on the water for fishing at distance, help fish smaller nymphs, more control at times, etc. I feel it also helps when my arm get's tired from holding the leader off the water!
