Jager can be very, very powerful. There may be a divide between people who bought it and people who earned it in the event. When I see one I do assume it is going to be a problem. The speed of the boat and its stealth are strong if used properly.
A month ago I played St.Vincent. Over 3.5mln (my record) of potential damage, I survived that, 4 kills, over 170k damage and we won in the last 4s of the match. Imagine how many "plays poorly" complaints were sent after that ;-). In that video a few seconds more and there would be a win. Shit just happens. Like Musashi spamming HE.
The video just reinforces that DDs should always be top priority targets. Particularly the torpedo spammers like Jager and Shimakaze.Too often I've seen them ignored in favour of bigger and easier targets.
+1 for the GL,beside that,I often wonder, how many players stay put broadside in smoke with their DDs,fully aware that there is a JÄGER torp wall going their direction. Specially once spotted, usually i usually don't relay on smoke in my Shima or something. Stern in,ready to dodge 😅
If the Jager captain had at this point sailed to the southern end of his cap circle, he may have been able to get shots 15:44 on the Yamato that capped and would have saved the game. Still a great play.
Game today, Jager ran up the flank in no time, spammed torps, got top XP on red team, was the only surviving boat on a losing team and was not spotted once. Well played Jager, shame about your team mates.
Losing a battle by just a few points can hurt much. This and the Gouden Leeuw player did their best, but it wasn`t enough to carry this team. The opponent Balao player did well, staying hidden and not risking his boat. So he was the unknown thread.
I'm a torp dd main, and love my Jager, but the Gouden Leeuw was the hero. Also I fire my torps a lot more often than this guy. The reload is so fast there's no reason to hold them when you have targets.
Honestly I can't really fault the Musashi for being away from the battle because Japanese armor scheme is weak at close range and there's a Supership there, also I can guess most of his shots were most likely overpens, non-pens and ricochets.
I have had games with lots of damage in the Jager, but it is hard to carry with that ship. It is slow. It doesn’t have smoke. Low torpedo damage so you need to get close and land LOTS of hits. Even a Shima can kick your ass with guns.
offtopic, but are you going to try and see USS Kidd while she is in drydock? bummer you didnt get to see USS New Jersey when she was in dry dock earlier this yr
I want a guide on the alsace since alsace is not looking good due to its shorter Range than the richelieu And has a higher detec idk if its good due to its worser range
He got insanely good RNG with those floods, Jaeger is by far the worst T9 dd for getting floods. Gg but he could have spent time capping by moving as far as he can towards the next objective. He would have won easily by doing this instead of sitting still in the middle of the cap for no reason.
It might not be a useful tip, but when I'm queueing in to battle, I always check the players that I've been matched with. Like, I just see their name if they are in a clan or if they don't have those "fancy" emblems (the onces where you earn by playing tier 8-10 ships and placing the top 3 XP earners per match). If I see that my team has none of those aspects and the enemy team has some of them, there's already a 90% chance of a loss. Just by knowing this, I dont need to set my expectations high when playing nor do I have to exert any sort of effort to even win
That honestly tells you nothing. I'm sure many are like myself and don't care about the emblems. It's just a silly addition that I haven't touched since they added it to the game - the same as I don't put camos on most of my ships, since most of them just don't look good.
@@TYPCLWKR Honestly I don't know as I haven't looked at them once since the game forced me to pick 1 when they were introduced. Submarine literally cannot be found, unlike destroyers, and I still see some people on forums or whatever comparing them to Shimakazes.
MOST PEOPLE ON FORUMS ARE COMPLETELY out of their minds
Under the right situations, subs can disappear. Also under the right situations, destroyers can disappear.
@@drink15 yeah, DDs can totally sneak up to within 2.3km of you without you even knowing.

Thanks for your commentary SLM. i misplayed in the end otherwise we would have win the game... and yes the Gouden Leeuw performed amazing as well.
gg
I Love the feeling of being the only DD left alive on a flank (or at all); "Look Ma! I'm king of the world!"
"What was he doing, finding Nemo?" LMAO

Agree, unless you’re shooting in smoke use it to break vision and leave it. Asking for trouble sitting in smoke doing nothing.
Nice review, just as a tip you can use the super narrow torp spread with european dd's, it helps with angled ships or easy to hit targets.
A WWI DD that have torpedoes of 1960s.
But again we have a WWII Battleship that able to brawl against entire fleet of Borgs

Every time you said Jaeger, my brain went to Pacific Rim. LOL I need more coffee
When will WOWS finally do a Pacific Rim collab!
@@marksanyal Don't think that IP is as popular as it used to be to garner a collab, but it would be cool.

He should have fired on the Preussen the first time he saw it on low HP... Two or three salvos on the superstructure would have made the difference.
How did they lose? Their team had more points when the timer ran out? 826 - 821
There a bug in the replays, the points are flipped. It's been known for quite a while.

I don't get it: green 826 pts, red 821 pts: how come the green lost??? The higher score doesn't win?

that was an epic game regardless
