Do you know that Washington DC actually sits on 7 hills!!! And that area used to be called Rome?!?! I have been living in MD my whole life and have heard from many historians and locals about Washington DC being the Babylonian system. This would make sense and would confer the “mystery”!!!

Revelation 18:23 has always made me think of America in particular. We are the ONLY nation in the entire world that has had (past tense), the freedom to share the gospel, without restrictions. And, the pharmaceuticals (sorceries) are made here (I.E. cov. vax's) in the US.
"23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
To me Pastor Brian, this points to one central location. As you know, I'm Jewish and I have a fair insight into how we write, and what certain things represent. As I also believe (America is much like Sodom and Egypt only worse as man is misusing tech.) that this nation is begging for judgement. What we've done in this nation would make even Sodom blush. And the only reason this nation hasn't been judged yet is .. "we're still in it."
Genesis 18:25 speaks to the fact God will not treat the righteous (His) the same as the wicked. And Revelation 18:4 says, "come out of her my people." Rapture reference? Not certain. So, when we leave? I personally (also considering how much the US has recently been "cursing" Israel) feel that when we go up? Judgement will come down. Many of the nations HATE the US now. That's no secret. I also personally feel that 'American patriots' just can't picture a world without the US in it. Well, with a one world govt, there's no room for a free republic. It will go away. One way, or another.

Interesting take, I've seen it more as america because it seems as though the kings of the earth are baffled at her fall and mourn her, and a really interesting thing about her is in rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
This sounds almost like the large influence of america and its ability through many means especially media to reach them, a Single nations force on the world and its ability to quickly deceive other nations
But as with most things in Gods word, God always weaves multiple tiers of meaning into a single verse, It could be all encompassing , and a broader sense of the city not just one nation, and maybe also a singular nation that represents babylon. For me at least it seems like only one nation can cause other nations to awe in wonder and be effected, if it were multiple i feel it would be hard for other nations to view the fall and understand it in this way

The problem with Jerusalem possibly being the intended prophetic destruction is many. 1. When has Jerusalem ever ruled over the earth? 2. She doesn’t sit on many waters. 3. Wld you call her land diverse with many cultures and races? 4. Does her import/exports fuel world wide wealth for nations and individuals? 5. The destruction is eternal and eternal destruction is not prophesied for Jerusalem.
Read Isiah 47 and ask your self if the spirit of Jerusalem has held that kind of arrogance? Rebellion and sin…yes…but as untouchable filled with such arrogance and pride? I don’t think so.
Revelation 18 gives us a complete description and explanation of Babylon. A political and economic power in opposition to God.¨ And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.¨ Since the end of WWII and with the advent of the petro-dollar the United States has reigned supreme as a military and economic power. It stands to reason to see Revelation 18 as a true representation of the secular and anti God that is the current US Government.

Correct. It's weird to me that people bring up Saudi Arabia as if that's the place that would make the world mourn when people no longer buy their merchandise. It's the other way around. Saudi Arabia will mourn if a country like America is destroyed because no one like them will ever buy their oil again
Islam. 7 distinct mountains. Makkah (Mecca) is one of the holiest cities in the muslim world. Millions of pilgrims visit the city every year to perform Hajj and Umrah. Makkah is also one of the most beautiful cities and is surrounded by 7 magnificent mountains.

It's an end-times mystery. Jerusalem doesn't come close to fitting all of the descriptions given about mystery Babylon.

For my part, I believe that Babylon "mixed with clay", as described in Daniel 2. To me, that means that the lineages (whether genetic, monetary, spiritual, legal, or something else) of Babylon are mixed in among other people. (Like you, I have noticed the surprising imagery similarities between Daniel and Revelation, and I think a lot of Jesus' comments were in answer to Daniel's prophecies.) I think that what happens during the tribulation is that the Babylonian/Beast lineages are separated out from the other peoples they've hidden among. This is very consistent with Jesus' descriptions of the End of the Age, such as the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares.
What this is saying is that America is almost certainly a mix of both Babylonian and Faithful, and it's very consistent with your conclusion that Babylon is a world-spanning system rather than an individual country or city.

Yep that is how I see it too.. considering the actual Islamic shahada found on the Saudi Arabia flag contains the Greek symbols for 600, 60, and 6. They wear the shahada on their headbands (forehead), armbands, wrist bands, bracelets, and rings. One cannot buy or sell if they reject Islam, but they also behead. They also kill thinking they are doing Gods work (John 16:2). Whats on that shahada is "there is no God but allah, and muhammad is his messenger", which is obvious blasphemy. So wearing those headbands, they also have blasphemy written on their heads (Revelation 13:1). Mecca, which is Saudi Arabias holy city, contains 7 holy mountains, Saudi's also deal in Kings.

Hi Pastor and thank you once again - I have just one question to ask that I said ask on your next video: Q: Is Flirting with the opposite sex (Female in my case me been a Male) - deemed a sin in the eyes of God or harmless ? (Not with sexual intentions)
Modern Christianity has poisoned you with the idea that when Jesus was talking about not looking at a woman lustfully in your heart lest you commit adultery in your heart, that he was somehow referring to all women. That is not the context of what he was saying.
There was no dating culture back then. He was referring to a married man lusting after a woman who is not his wife or an unmarried man lusting after a married woman.
Without being attracted to the opposite sex, and without flirting with the opposite sex, there is no possibility of you or anyone else for that matter throughout all of the eons of time ever getting a spouse, so he is obviously not referring to people who are unmarried and single.
If you are unmarried and single, and you are not flirting with someone who is married, then there is zero possibility of you committing adultery in real life or in your heart because adultery only comes into play if you or the other person or both of you are married. Flirt away
I believe the Pastor is spot on here. Read chapter 17 very carefully again. Notice verse 3…
Revelation 17:3 (NIV) Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.
The “woman/harlot is sitting on a beast …with seven heads. The key here to me are the “seven heads.” So what do we know about the “seven heads?” Go to verses 9 and 10….
Revelation 17:9 (NIV) “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
Revelation 17:10 (NIV) They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.
7 heads=7 mountains=7 kings. So who are these 7 kings or kingdoms? Well 5 have fallen and one is, and one is yet to come….only for a short while. May I suggest this possibility: the 5 kingdoms that were: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Media-Persia, and Greece. The one that was (when John was writing this) is Rome. And the one to come that will last for a short while is to be the kingdom of the antichrist. I also believe the 8th kingdom will be of the 7th, and will be the Beast kingdom, which I believe is the kingdom to rule in the Great Tribulation. Basically, it is the resurrected antichrist (7th kingdom leader) empowered by who else- Satan!
Based on all of this, I don’t see how America, being only 250 years old could have been sitting/ influencing/in bed with the 7 kingdoms of history, beginning with Egypt. The story of the Tower of Babel is the bigger picture. America, yes, she has made a wrong turn toward being embarrassing decadent, but she is just a small part of the global lure of false religion and idolatry.
Anyhow, that is how I see Rev 17/18….but I do concede, one can possibly see NYC, especially in chapter 18, which makes the subsequent confusion not without merit.
By the way….It’s no big deal if you don’t agree….it is only a big deal to me if you don’t agree Jesus is Lord who died for our sins, and that salvation is by God’s grace through our faith and faith alone….with good works only being the EVIDENCE OF A SHOWING GENUINE FAITH.

Rev 17 and 18 are not the same entity. Rev 18 is the USA. Rev 17 is Rome (Vatican) notice the Difference.
i beleive you are right on the money or button with this episode regarding just who is mystery babylon , the harlot ect..... A system the entire world IS adopting at present which is spearheaded by the US for sure, but not entirely exclusive too anymore in the 21st. century. A revived" Roman empire " which emcombasses a lot of territory in Eruope and next door , 70% now muslim i am told .... which makes it quite interesting regarding the "beheading" of the saints during the tribulation. Roman Catholic Church which i used to belong to as well as my dad way back when could be the feared harlot spoken off since the pope is very influential and powerful worldwide now AND is very involved politically and otherwise regarding the whole woke thing going on with the kids.... Very scary YET exciting times we are living in when one considers that WE ( you and me) WERE CHOSEN to be alive in these final days. To spiritualize the growing “idea” that wickedness around the world as being the meaning or interpretation for mystery Babylon is quite disingenuous to the text.
You have no basis to spiritualize that which is literally being described to John. That description is given as an identifying marker to literally identify the body politic, which is described to the generation, for which the prophecy will be fulfilled. It is written to be so specific that the reader, in the generation that’s living at that time, wld definitely be able to understand which body politic the prophecy is intended.
It is without a doubt its referencing the USA. And no pre-trib rapture is coming to rescue Americans from judgment. Wake up people the 3rd seal is upon us and is about to be opened.

How do you figure the first and second seals have already been opened?
@@educational4434the seals as opened by Christ allowing mankind to do their will on earth. Mankind and Satan are without a doubt marginalized by God. He does not allow them to do anymore or less than what God allows them to do. When the seals are opened and the will of man is allowed to do what is in their heart, those actions will effect the entire face of the earth at the moment, during that time, and be known to all.
The 1st rider, a man, is riding. He was given a crown and with strength he has challenged the world. He keeps fighting battling his enemies as the world watches. He endures and over comes and he not quit.
The 2nd rider is men, or their agenda, to kill and to take peace from the world. He is given a GREAT sword…a weapon. In 2015 at a Ted Talk given by Bill Gates he laid out the facts that a virus is more dangerous than a nuclear warhead. Can you see where I’m going with this? Not only did the C-v19 virus do what it did but the vaccine has caused more death and adverse side effects, world wide, than the virus ever did.
Now, the 3rd seal is super high per inflation. A created, man made, crisis. Prices are skyrocketing. A digital world currency is on the verge of being forced on the world. Once a digital currency is imposed… it’s game over. That is directly tied to the mark of the beast.
Mystery Babylon the Great Whore is identified to be apostate Jerusalem by Rev 17:6 "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration." And in MT 23:34,35 "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar." Jesus identified who Babylon is. It was apostate Jerusalem in the first century. Rev 11:8 "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." The Great Whore, and Babylon are one and the same in Revelations.

Mystery Babylon is New York City not America
Rev 17:18 identifies the woman. It says she is “the great city which has dominion over the kings of the earth.” There is only one city called “the great city” in Revelation: Rev 11:8, “the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.” Consequently, the harlot is Jerusalem. The Beast appears to be the Roman Empire, with its capital city Rome represented by seven hills (17:9). (By the way the Vatican is not on any of the hills of Rome.) Jerusalem committed much fornication with pagan nations (Is 1:21, Jer 2:20, 4:30, Ez 16:1-25, 23:1-4, 11, 30). Jerusalem of course formed an unholy alliance with the Roman Empire to oppose Christianity. That is why Jesus was crucified and we see this throughout the book of Acts.
The gold cup imagery comes from Jer 51:7, which depicts Babylon as a golden cup filled with the wine of madness. It has nothing to do with the Catholic Eucharist. (By the way, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Oriental Orthodox Church, the Syriac Orthodox Church, the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the Assyrian Church of the East all use golden chalices as well, and they are not Catholic. Does that make them the great harlot as well?)
I fail to see how his can be the Catholic Church because if it is, then the Catholic Church has been the great harlot for at least 500 years if not up to 1,700 years. There are only seven kings numbered, and five of those had already fallen by the time John wrote this. So that leaves two kings over 500 years. That doesn’t make any sense. It likely stands for seven Roman emperors, the sixth being Nero or Domition, both of which ruled for a short time (v. 10). If you want to argue that the Catholic Church is the harlot, identify these seven kings for me.
I can sort of see at the time of the Reformation that it might be somewhat believable to say that the Catholic Church was “in bed with” the kings of the earth, but folks, let’s be real - Christendom is long dead and given the political situation for the past century or longer, this accusation is simply beyond absurd. Get real. The Catholic Church is in opposition to much of what the “kings of the earth” are doing. She is always reminding the nations of what the Gospel preaches, whether they like it or not. One response cited Charlemagne as proof of “fornication with the kings of the earth”. Folks, that was, if I am not mistaken, over 1,200 years ago. Do you really think the events of Revelation unfold over a 1,200-year time frame? To paraphrase a popular saying, what have we done to you lately? Why isn’t the Russian Orthodox church the great harlot for her unholy alliance with Putin? (I am not arguing that it is, simply making a rhetorical point.)
I agree with you that it is not likely the Catholic Church. But I disagree that it's Jerusalem. Jerusalem does not contain the great merchants of the world, nor will the world mourn because Jerusalem no longer buys their goods, nor is Jerusalem called the hammer of the Earth, nor can it apply to Jerusalem given the fact that Jesus descends down to Jerusalem and rules from Jerusalem for 1,000 years literally here on this physical Earth, and that would not be possible given that the verses that describe the destruction of Mystery Babylon describe that she is never inhabited again. That is ever ever again. So while the verses seem to match Jerusalem, it is impossible for them to match Jerusalem so they must be separate meanings

Hi Valentine, I don’t know if you had a chance to watch the video, but manufacturing people (not just Mormonism) think that America is Babylon, I don’t believe that America is specifically Babylon, other than possibly as part of a larger system. Typically, Babylon is seen as the literal Babylon of old restored, or as code for Rome or even Jerusalem. A number of potential possibilities exist

Revelation 18:19, “And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea (the Red Sea) became rich by her wealth, for in one hour she has been laid waste!’ The act of throwing dust on one’s head is a Middle Eastern expression of grief and loss. it says it's a great city, but you'll notice in Jeremiah 51: 42-43
42 The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.
43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.
Since there are cities (plural) in desolation, that would mean it would either be a state, province, country, or continent. The previous verse indicates that it will have to be nearby water as the waves will cover it. Revelation 18 indicates it must be a big commercial hub because of all the ship masters basically screaming "who is going to buy our crap" as they watch the place burning.
To me this only fits 2 places, America or Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has Mecca which is the Islamic holy city. It has 7 holy mountains in Mecca, and Saudi Arabia also deals in Kings. What many people don't know is the Islamic shahada (which is blasphemy) is on the Saudi Arabia flag, but the flag also contains the Greek symbols for 600, 60, and 6. Remember Revelation was written in Greek, so when John saw 600, 60, and 6, he likely saw the symbols. Saudi Arabia also has some really weirdly tall gaudy looking structures in it's cities.. like a bunch of towers of babel everywhere.
In saying that, I still think it's America simply because they are the biggest consumer of Goods in the world, and they have their tentacles in everything influencing countries everywhere. You are right though, we won't see it here, we'll see it while in Heaven.
