I was coming home to Minneapolis and they forgot my bag back at SeaTac and when I was in the office filing a report for it someone brought a vibrator into the lost and found xD
1:56 - the white dots you're seeing are actually from the radiation of the X-ray machine. The radiation can alter charges on the sensor, which results in those artifacts.
This was fun for me to watch. I know it's kind of a dull concept, but i travel to Seattle every year from Philadelphia to visit my family. Thank you for making the video ^_^
Only 2.5 or 3.5 out of a thousand get miss handled, and yet all three of our bags got miss handled at the same time, and my wife had to 3 days without her medication... What luck!
Why don't they update this jurassic system? Like putting a QR code and security guard to watch people are getting the right ones when the belt bring them? That's why they not only get lost, but often easily stolen. It's like they are still 50 years in the past. Like they prefer dealing with complaints everyday...maybe they don't care?
there should be a roller coaster ride designed like that. The cars could be shaped like a luggage bag then the bumps and the different shifting routes.
Like they don't care if they destroy it, mine was twice broken...and I don't even travel very often..and when you go to get your suitcase anyone can take yours from the belt and disappear...like the codes are for nothing...there is no control over who is taking which baggage... it's ridiculous in 2023.
DUDE GOT REAL SUS IN THE END WHEN THEY QUESTION HIM WHY BAGS GO MISSING... he tries real hard to be convincing... lol. he knows.... he knows... thats seattle style. welcome bitches!!! LMFAO what a joke of airport and washington... they let it happen.... only 3rd worst... free pass.
poker slob Unfortunately they just don't have the time to make sure each one is rightside up. These workers are timed on how long it takes them to handle each bag, and if they spend too much time on each bag they get fired. This is because they only have a certain amount of time to make sure everyones' bags get on the plane. As it is, checked baggage is the slowest part of flying, all of the passengers will usually be on board and ready to go well before the baggage is. Any extra time spent on these bags would only make the wait longer, profits lower, and costs even higher. What is all boils down to is that people who fly are impatient and want to be done as quickly and cheaply as possible.
Classical Rips Alright, that makes total sense actually. I'm not so upset anymore. As a matter of fact I think they should be tossing that luggage a little quicker. People got places they need to go.
Classical Rips Actually you are wrong, the workers who throw the bags on the belt are not timed those would be the ramp agents and tug drivers that are timed. The workers behind the ticket counter just have to make sure your bag is on the right belt. The reason they are upside down is called "bag courtesy" when they put them wheels down the wheels can get caught between conveyor spacing, or the wheels will keep spinning the opposite way the belt is turning getting nowhere and causing a jam down the line. I mean there is a sense of urgency because people are impatient but if that was all it was about then they would just set them all standing upright. There are miles and miles of conveyors and different machinery that your bag must pass through before reaching the plane, so that's why they do it like that.
I must say, _Toy Story 2_ got it pretty accurate. :)
lol
Yeah I thought that scene was fake
lol
Yeah I always wondered what the baggage transit system actually looked like, cool
You said it ABC the Cartoon Master
I'm a manual encoder on one of these belts, this was a very informative video
I always wondered what the baggage transit system actually looked like, cool
1:49 Well, that would explain why these screening systems weren’t in _Toy Story 2_ .
I guess even if those systems were in place, the toys would drop dead to avoid suspicion. Then once they're past that, continue rescuing Woody.
ARC the Clarinet Master just imaging seeing thru the bag and seeing two cowboy rag dolls having a fight 😂
@@rainbowrunner1550 I meant because the movie predates 9/11.
My bag has been through that convener belt so many times 😂
Ah yes, the forbidden roller coaster
I was coming home to Minneapolis and they forgot my bag back at SeaTac and when I was in the office filing a report for it someone brought a vibrator into the lost and found xD
I’ve never been to an airport (because I’ve never been on a plane) so this is really cool!
1:56 - the white dots you're seeing are actually from the radiation of the X-ray machine. The radiation can alter charges on the sensor, which results in those artifacts.
Huh I was wondering if that's what it was
interesting- recent videos inside chernobyl show the same
This was fun for me to watch. I know it's kind of a dull concept, but i travel to Seattle every year from Philadelphia to visit my family.

I'm going to be here on Wednesday! flying to Disneyland ♡
Every time I go to the airport, any airport, there's a really childish desire in my to ride on the baggage carousel. I never do it, but I so want to!
I always got excited when the baggage claim turned on and we had to look for our bags
Dude, all I searched for was Airport Conveyor, and the FIRST result was SeaTac. I freakin live in the South Sound. UA-cam, stop scaring me.
Wow, its so complicated and cool!
I always wondered when I was little what it looked like on the conveyor. I always wanted to just ride one. Pretty cool
The one I saw about baggage thru the Dubai airport was incredible.
"Buzz! Buzz! My back end's goin' to Baton Rouge!" - Jim Varney.

Toy Story 2 always made me wonder how that stuff worked.
And I wonder why my hard case bag is so damaged-
I wish I could join my bag on that ride…
Same
Only 2.5 or 3.5 out of a thousand get miss handled, and yet all three of our bags got miss handled at the same time, and my wife had to 3 days without her medication... What luck!

If a lost bag is found in a different plane, is the owner contacted?
The original Airline pf the bag is contacted and returned .
Does anyone else wanna ride it?
So it's space mountain with the lights on
Nice
I can't imagine anything more boring than standing there with a scanner in my hand all day every day.
I WANNA GO ON THE ROLLERCOASTER NOT THE PLANE!!!
there should be a roller coaster ride designed like that. The cars could be shaped like a luggage bag then the bumps and the different shifting routes.
Looks 19th century victorian infrastructure compared to the systems in Dubai and Singapore

Stfu lol
Why in hell are all the bags upside down? Those baggage handlers should show a little respect and place them properly on the belt.
poker slob Unfortunately they just don't have the time to make sure each one is rightside up.
