This feels more obligatory than it needs to be... Frankly I enjoy each artist, The Warning the most, but I feel like doing this song with Zero (and perhaps a second song with grandson) would do better in terms of complimenting each other. The stylistic directions are pretty cool, but there's too many cooks in the kitchen for 2:41
I heard it once, twice ... and again ... and finally come to the conclusion that the only good parts are the ones with "The Warning" in it. One person mentioned Lzzy Hale and Lindsey Stirling ... "Shatter Me" is completely different. You can clearly see the parts of both in this title. Same goes with Lzzys collaboration with The Hu or the collaboration between Lindsey Stirling and Amy Lee (Evanescence). I may be wrong but you can't just mix a hit when adding a double bass, this and that distorted sound (may it be sung or played instrumentally (e.g. a guitar)). It simply does not fit for me and my music taste. Take the original song and it sounds (again, maybe only for me) 10 times better than ... this.
I just realized that these are the same people that did the cover of enter sandman with alessia cara thats was used for the Midnight Suns’ game trailer
I'm also 53 and I love this band with a passion. I think it's because they're bringing back the hard rock style of the 80s that was driven underground by grunge. Finally it's being resurrected by these awesome women!
I seen them live a few weeks ago opening for three days grace and they were AMAZING the energy they brought was fire! I would, and hopefully will, be seeing them again!
yea and the song is actually by the warning, not by grandson... although Zero did add words in his wrap section..... it was a single from the warning's album Error, and it's pretty awesome in it's original form. And heck.. they are the #1 Gen Z rock band right now
I love it. Remember folks, this is THEIR song getting used by a couple of artists with different fanbases. The exposure is awesome for everyone. It's fun having the small, exclusive group and that's still the thing, but these ladies have SO much talent that the world will see. Another step forward!
Very true. It is the musical equivalent of an artist making a print of American Gothic, and changing the pitch fork to a lawn rake with a felt tip pen.

The Warning's guitars bass and drums, some electro dub step, Zero's rap and Grandsons grungy lyrics....whats not to love? Awesome collaboration between three, musically talented rock bands all summed up in one kick ass black and white video....HELL YA!
What's not to love is they only used the audio from Dany (awesome shredder/vocalist) and eliminated ALL audio of BOTH of her younger sisters! Pau (awesome drummer/vocalist) and Ale (awesome thunderbass queen/vocalist) , and unless the entire BAND agreed on it, I DON'T LOVE IT! I LOVE 3 sister band "The Warning"! But if they (The Warning) agreed with this, then it's their band and they can do what they want! This destroys their chemistry!
Awesome, as a grandson fan I didn't know the warning or zero 9:36 but will for sure be adding them to the ol play list. Collaborations like this are so exciting when you find music you probably wouldn't have come across otherwise. Amazing!

I don't hate it, but I'm also not as locked into one genre as much as some people are. I've got a big soft spot for electronica, so that aspect didn't faze me at all. Also definitely not my cup f tea, but I could imagine, that this collaboration could attract them to new and younger listeners, who probably listen to other of their songs too then. They have to gather new fans, as they have made music as their profession and do have to earn money by that longer than we old guys can support them. So I hope they make the right decisions and keep feeling good with what their doing. Good luck girls.
My first memories of a rock collaboration is when Aerosmith and Run DMC recorded Walk This Way when I was in high school. That collaboration helped both of those artists expand their fan base. We can't forever live in the 70s/80s... Music today is different and it is not necessarily bad. If we want to stay in the past, just because we want that sound, there are plenty of cove bands out there. We will not always be in locked steps with the ladies, but let's be careful here as fans are much more to blame (via their comments and dislikes) for "directing" artists than Record Labels are. Let's not kill the creative process and growth here. Let them experiment. If they want to collab with a symphonic orchestra or a marching band tomorrow, so bet it! Long live TW!!🤘

Y eso muestra madurez y deseos de seguir creciendo y experimentando.
Been a big fan and patron of The Warning since the beginning (in the cave), and I like grandson, but I think it’s just a little too soon to rip a Warning tune apart. There is absolutely no argument that the exposure for The Warning is great, but in my opinion I believe The Warning are already kicking major a$$ on their tour (I’ve been to 3 of their shows so far) and will be just fine doing what they are already doing - kickin a$$ The Warning style…! !
Like how the video features DPA doing their thing. The remix is okay, but seems kind of short for an EDM remix (I guess you could just keep looping it).
I see an obvious generational clash between the thinking and tastes of the Boomers and X gens Vs the younger gens here (incl. TW's gen "Z"). While older generations like to stay in their comfortable shoes, just because this is what they know and those are comfy, the younger gens tend to get out of those shoes and try new ones, exactly because the old ones got too comfy. The ladies have guts, drive and are fearless. Let's allow them to explore and do what they want; They will always find ways to surprise us of course, but also impress us. Let's also give them a break, Dani is just 22 and the sisters have already 3 amazing album and one EP under their belt (all serious work). Can they catch a break and have fun and explore with other fellow artists? I am all for it.
They obviously like this genre of music or they wouldn't have done this collaboration - its a Win - Win for all the artist involved 🤘🤘🤘keep Rockin ladies !!
I belong to a generation that collides with the newest. I have no problem with experimentation, but I know that the result of experimentation can be good, bad or meh. And in this case for me it was very bad, just as the result of the risk they took with Enter Sandman was very good. But the important thing is that they liked it and if they still think it was a mistake (if most fans didn't like it) they will learn and do better next time. Oh, and it's not a question of comfort, but of taste. You wouldn't eat something you don't like, and that wouldn't have anything to do with comfort. Not being open to experimentation for convenience works for the musicians, but not for the fans.
I like it better in this video than hearing it only audio like I did the first time. This credits the entire warning even if their parts were mostly replaced by synths etc in the actual mix.... which just seems more fair since it was a co-writing situation. Very cool!!
The more I listen to it the more I like it!! I also love this because it sends a clear message that DPA are NOT going to fit in that neat little box that many fans want to keep them in!! 🤘😆🤘
Maybe I'm a little bit cause it's the warning... But I F***ING LOVE THIS VERSION! Builds up on the emotion Dany had, Zeros verse is so much fun to sing with and add an nice extra weight to the song. It came out yesterday and I think I'm on my 20th listen Only complaint, I wish it was longer
Primero que todo comentar esto...Que las chicas hagan lo que quieran! En mi caso soy muy viejo para esto creo jajajaja pero está bueno que experimenten. Aguante The Warning!!
Bueno suele pasar muchas bandas lo hacen la primera fue Aerosmith en el 86 eso les salvo la carrera despues de andar en decadencia resurgieron de nuevo y los fans creyeran en ellos ahora forman parte de la historia del rock
I truly love the Warning's music. I was blown away when I saw them live I came out of the concert a super fan . The best Live band I have seen in 20 years. I am not a fan of studio/engineered music. Sorry Ladies this is not my thing. I will support your right as an artist to make whatever music you want. I have listened to all your songs many many times. on my playlist are my favorites and it is a lot of them. Keep the Hard Rock coming. Love the Warning🤘🤘🤘
So glad to hear these ladies love what grandson and Zero 9:36 did here. You might think they are just saying that for the hype, but because they are into so many different genres, I believe it's genuine. Though it's not my cup of tea, there is potential to grow their audience.
I thought it was an interesting mesh. Prefer the original, of course, but I could vibe to it if I'm in the mood. But I agree with the others saying it was much too short! I liked the live footage in the video; always the best way to experience TW. 🤘🤘🤘
This rocked! Showcased Danny’s vocals and the main riff as the main backbone and let Grandson and Zero do their thing to awesome effect. Not to mention Ale’s line, the most popular portion of this song at every live performance, was very prominent in the middle of the song as well! The video editing was amazing. I loved seamlessly intertwining Danny’s different performances together. Grandson’s opening lines were a great addition and Zero shined as well. I had heard of him before and liked some of his songs like Adrenaline, but had never heard of Grandson. I really like his song Blood and Water though, so I’m glad this collaboration happened! Anyone who likes this also needs to check out The Warning’s normal songs as well, such as Error and Money. They are my favorite new band!
By the way, The Warning is the BEST Old school/New school Rock Band, playing instruments, etc. we have Right Now! Hook up you Wagon and go for the Ride! Every song I hear influences from my Favorite all time Rock Bands, with their unique and unbelievable take on Life! You Rock, I Follow! Peace and Health to All! ⚡✌️😷🤟⚡ The Warning ROCKS!
After a few listens, I like it but thought it could be better. I wish that it was a bit longer, this was extremely short. I really wish they could've incorporated other aspects of the song more. They did a good job at incorporating the lead guitar and Dany's vocals, but where's Ale's bass? I think I hardly distinguished Pau's drums? Ale's basslines are very groovy and could easily be used on EDM or other forms of House music. Pau's drums are powerful, her breaks could've been incorporated and made more distinguishable specially on the break down and before the drop. I thought that the buildup before and after the drops were too short. Not enough tension was built up for the drop to be effective, nor was there any other melodic components afterwards. I just felt that the entire song as a whole was rushed with missed opportunities. It was a decent remix that will be forgotten about by the end of the week, but could've easily been one of the top EDM songs of the year with a few tweaks and letting the core of the song shine through just a bit more. Imo a great remix toes a fine line between allowing the original source shine where one can recognize it while still making it unique enough that it's different. A conversation where both parties involved is free flowing and ideas are shared and heard, with each feeding off each other. This felt like a conversation in which one person was trying to get a word in while the other kept interrupting the other person. I felt that the original song was well..... choked.
I like your analysis. It would be nice if they put some lyrics of the rap parts as the first set were too quiet to understand. I am sure the rap artists had something to add to the emotion of they song but it got lost in the EDM and disjointed mix. If I could understand their lyrical additions, maybe the song would be better in my view. Otherwise, DPA must have signed off on this and were excited to see how it came out. They are the major artist and they, as I, must me proud that their success and quality music have inspired others to work with them.
Bring it on, ladies! Let's hear how it came out. I hope many, many people discover The Warning through this remix. I think it's cool to reach out and try all kinds of new things. Explore it all, so you can know whether you like it , and whether it works. Full steam ahead.
I right-clicked, hit loop and listened to it for like 45 minutes straight! 🤪 I wish it were about a minute longer (42 minutes longer would be a little much)
This is Great I like the Collaboration hope to see More of them taking risks on Different Genres Some Country Grass Blues Mexican Style I mean the Possibilities are infinite with their talent and precense on stage
That was fun. I remember doing these in the studio. It breaks up the monotony. After writing, recording and playing songs in your set although fun and exciting you can get tone deaf to you own music due to the redundancy and intense concentration. This stuff allows some levity and a great chance to step back and grow from another perspective. Nice one ladies. 🖤❤️💛
I’m back again to congratulate you ladies on an awesome collaboration and don’t be disappointed by all the Nay sayers the majority of fans support you keep Rocking ladies and by the way great video cheers
These ladies have been doing a great job using social media to grow their fan base, this is just the next step. Gotta love their tenacity in finding ways to reach NEW audience.
LOVE TW⚡️ and the original version of Choke is awesome and still the best version, but this was actually good. Dany's voice is what makes this EDM version legit. Nothing wrong with a little collaboration experimenting. DPA are rockers at heart. 🤘
Well, I like it. The most surprising thing to me was how short it is. I could have listened to more, and my impression of EDM was that the grooves went on and on until you didn't want to dance anymore. Oh well, maybe they'll loop it around more when doing it live... gandson and zero, I mean.
came for grandson, stayed for The Warning's energy and powerful vocals 🤘

Like how the video features DPA doing their thing. The remix is okay, but seems kind of short for an EDM remix (I guess you could just keep looping it).
Fking love this since grandson is apart of this
Honestly, better than I expected. Cool ass video too.
I have to agree with the last comment... like to add I got to see the young ladies live and it was great 👍🤘
I LOVE the warning💜
We know.🙄

I thought this was elite straight from the first listen. New favourite song
I’m bumping this with my 15 inch woofers and the Bass kicks ass
I like it better in this video than hearing it only audio like I did the first time. This credits the entire warning even if their parts were mostly replaced by synths etc in the actual mix.... which just seems more fair since it was a co-writing situation. Very cool!!
The more I listen to it the more I like it!! I also love this because it sends a clear message that DPA are NOT going to fit in that neat little box that many fans want to keep them in!! 🤘😆🤘
Agree
Maybe I'm a little bit cause it's the warning... But I F***ING LOVE THIS VERSION! Builds up on the emotion Dany had, Zeros verse is so much fun to sing with and add an nice extra weight to the song. It came out yesterday and I think I'm on my 20th listen
Only complaint, I wish it was longer
Amen
Same Amen!
I hope in the future they appear in the vmas awards for best new artist
Hell yeah this slaps
Wtf fuck I'ma big fan of @zero 9:36 this record is soo bad ass, and the warning u guys rock n kick ass🤟
Whats the vocals name ? She is incredibly cuteee omg haha
Daniela, Dany. Guitarrist of The Warning Band.
Choke, is a Oiginal song of The warning.
Aunque destruyeron una buena canción, este experimento ha servido para demostrar que el talento de The Warning está muy por encima de muchos artistas.
música basura electrónica, por qué bajar los estándares?
Spotify recommended this to me the other day, new fan🤍
I thought it was an interesting mesh. Prefer the original, of course, but I could vibe to it if I'm in the mood. But I agree with the others saying it was much too short! I liked the live footage in the video; always the best way to experience TW. 🤘🤘🤘
With this kind of remixes I usually think "why?", but with this one is like "Why? Meh Idc, it sound cool"
This is giving off cyberpunk ost vibes
@TheWarningin👈Telegr@m me bugger off spam bot
Love it! High Energy Rock and Roll!
I love it! Ya'll did an outstanding job!! 💖💖💖
Its growing on me
I love how her vocals have got so amazing over the years to hear the beginning and now the this omg love it!!!
You saw it with aerosmith and Run DMC and they still remained a rock band
Love what you ladies are doing. The original is still my favorite but glad to see you trying different things and reaching new fans.
They are my favorite new band!
lol. What song did you hear? I love the Warning. This early 2000 dubstep trash ass ''remix'' is exactly that... trash.

Whattttt 🔥🔥🔥 collab!! Get it TW ♥️
I have a new obsession lol. You ladies are the fn best. Love it. I want to buy lunch for Miss Bass.
I liked it! Trippy-they are experimenting different sounds i’m sure they will land something to get to the next level!
Me encanta la propuesta. Sigan así, chicas! Haciendo lo que ustedes quieran sin cerrarse a nada. Esto ya está en mi playlist!! 💥🖤
Get all these guys together to make a film score! 🤯
Lo que hagan las Warnings siempre será oro puro.
The more people that hear The Warning the better! This is brilliant 👏 👌
Bring it on, ladies! Let's hear how it came out. I hope many, many people discover The Warning through this remix. I think it's cool to reach out and try all kinds of new things. Explore it all, so you can know whether you like it , and whether it works. Full steam ahead.
Although I like the original version more this is cool as well :)
Love our Ladies, but this is not for me. I am still happy that so many people loved it.
Well I've watched it like 6 times now.. i must like it. 🤘😀🤘
10 for me presently 🤟🤟🤟
Okay...suena bien como una especie de 'remix', lo cual celebro pero me quedo con el power de la original toda la vida. Se las quiere y admira, chicas!
Here 4 zero 9:36 stayed 4 the amazing vocals, guitar, rock vibe...
Only criticism, you have to have the best drummer actually drumming in there.
I’m back again to congratulate you ladies on an awesome collaboration and don’t be disappointed by all the Nay sayers the majority of fans support you keep Rocking ladies and by the way great video cheers
Bravo Sir!!! I fricking love it.
These ladies have been doing a great job using social media to grow their fan base, this is just the next step. Gotta love their tenacity in finding ways to reach NEW audience.
Well that was just awesome
No pensé que me gustara, pero me gusta. Es algo bien hecho.
Someone please remix a song using Ale's bass line break on Disciple.
LOVE TW⚡️ and the original version of Choke is awesome and still the best version, but this was actually good. Dany's voice is what makes this EDM version legit. Nothing wrong with a little collaboration experimenting. DPA are rockers at heart. 🤘
My new favorite song 🔥❤🔥🔥❤🔥🔥❤🔥🔥❤🔥
I love grandson and I really like zero 9:36, this is thee best colab ever
Very cool collaboration! A great way to share each others fans. Reminds me of what Linkin Park was doing bridging Metal, Electronic and Rap music.
You should do the same thing you did here with halestorm. Pick a song and do a mash-up with them. That would be so cool. You guys rock.
Dany's voice is pure magic. Really enjoyed this remix. Great collab 🤘
And lots of great closeups of her in the video too. 😉
@@KansaSCaymanS love it 😀
Well, I like it. The most surprising thing to me was how short it is. I could have listened to more, and my impression of EDM was that the grooves went on and on until you didn't want to dance anymore. Oh well, maybe they'll loop it around more when doing it live... gandson and zero, I mean.
Tremendo legado dejó Linkin... tremenda adaptación. (no es comparación alguna de mi parte)
I get cyberpunk vibes from this, I dig it, but the original is still the G.O.A.T.
