This anime intro has been a nice challenge for us to merge our 60fps goodness into the typical anime likeness we all know and love.

I mean... not really. A lot of that is new information. Only real carryover is Vincent (a Mii fighter), Dedede and Captain Falcon were killed by Blood Falcon (The red Captain Falcon) whose from an evil dimension. That's the only thing from the last season that carried over.

It's totally like an actual anime and it's amazing. You should pay attention to the plot too, it makes it so much more enjoyable when you decide who to root for!

I have a theory that Troy is actually parsect falcon, he survived his fight against against blood falcon but he was so ashamed he had to hide his face. And so he trains other people in hopes they can defend themselves if they ever encounter blood falcon, hence why in the timeskip tournament Troy kept giving Ness his final smash. So he could get better at using it immediately after getting it.
Can we get an F in the chat for all the fallen fighters?

First off, while it's not 1-1, this clearly takes inspiration from Bloody Stream, which is the opposite of a bad thing. The animation style is sub-par, but not anyone can just make an Anime OP and the animation itself is great.
Onto speculation, we can see that Dark Vince AND Blood Falcon are making returns, and are having one on ones with the "new" protags, Tony and The Agent. Tony is clearly connected to ToyConvict, if not ToyConvict himself. He seems to mourn over Parsec Captain Falcon of all people, which seems strange because ToyConvict and PCF had no real connection. It says in E1 that The Agent never gave their real name, shrouding herself in even more mystery. Last but not least, Greninja. He appears to be evil, and I mean he is a dark type, but he's shown along Dark Vince and Blood Falcon and controlling Rosalina? Interesting...
I thought the same thing! I got some JoJo OP 2 vibes from this thing. Maybe it was the 2 protags versus 3 antags, but it's a great intro. Also, from this blog ( www.agentnaomi.com/ ) The Agent's name is Naomi Winters. The whole thing's a fast read and I assume it'll update is the CPUCS progresses.
I don think I’d describe that face as one of mourning. I think he’s looking at blood falcons helm as motivation to take revenge for Vincent with the reveal that he’s ToyConvict in episode 2
So from what i can tell blood falcon is killing all the champs but Kirby is still out there
The closing of the intro gave me chills when it faded out, like it was going to be dramatic and outstanding, Thank you

What a spectacular job, from the visuals to the banger in the background (and sometimes the foreground, what a beat) to so many little details about the plot. I had more fun dissecting this than I do a lot of actual anime openings, so serious props to everyone who worked on this!
