24% DECREASE in SE PORTLAND HOME SALES: What you should know!🏡📉

There were 139 home sales in SE Portland in December 2023, which is 24% less than the 182 home sales in December 2022. This is positive housing market news for SE Portland home buyers. Additionally, the 139 home sales in December 2023 represent a 53% decrease in the SE Portland housing market from the four-year December high of 296 home sales in December 2020. It will be interesting to watch how much of this activity is driven by mortgage interest rates as we progress through 2024.
