This video is very accurate, however, the dancing girls in red costumes at 2:30 are Tahitian.
Kanakalala🌺 thank you for the correction! I’ve pinned it to make sure people see it.
And also there pronouncing kaona(hidden or double meaning) wrong
as a native hawiian (if you couldn't tell from my name lol) i really enjoyed this video :)) it has very good information and whenever my friends ask about my hawaiian side (i am hawaiian filipino and japanese) i show them this! thank you :)
Thank you so much!! I put quite a bit of work into it, so I'm glad it was accurate!
Iam filipino too
Girl- you might have Hawaiian blood but your mind is very white. If you really were connected to Hawaiian culture, you would know that this is colonizer video and you wouldn't be passing out hearts like candy. Wake up!!
Move their bodies imitated the waves
of the sea..wonderful !
As a content creator, THIS DESERVES MORE LIKES!!!!!

2:28 That’s an ‘ōte’a dance from Tahiti 🇵🇫
All the way from Saudi 🇸🇦❤️ respect to Hawaiians all over the world 🌍
love the video and learned so much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
THE SOUND QUALITY
Well done, however the Taitian dancer is not a hawaiian tradition. Still like the video.
Hawaiian language likes ilocano
Both part of austronesian language family originally
Wth is ilocano
This is an awful video. The pronounciation of Hawaiian words are butchered and the sexualization of hula is a total misconception of what hula is really about. It is much more meaningful and purposeful than what you choose to present to your viewers. It is an irresponsible view of what Hawaii and Hawaiian culture is really like. 0 out of 5 stars.
