Great to have you back! Loved the live vids of you designing your Case as a mod back at the start of lockdown, would love to see your Massey 265 as the next project 👍🏻
Hello Declan, happy new year finally another video from you!!!! Great job again!! Maybe we can exchange ideas again, I would be very happy!! Greetings from Austria, Co Carinthia! Christian with family!!
Only found ur channel there now fair play to you loader great job i do argreecwith the lads a second ram will be a safer job great to see the younger generation making the best of wat they have keep up the good work
Glad you found us yes a second ram needed but we will need the cash first haha, for now its working for what i need and thats all i need. Thanks for your kind and constructive words Stephen!
It was surely about time, I've said it before but ill say it again and hopefully this time it sticks but we plan to come back with a consistent 2 videos a week. Keep an auld eye out and i must say thank you for your Patience and kind words!
thank you sir, i was fair happy with it and its made a world of difference to my day to day life on the farm, better functioning than the quicke that was improperly installed on the previous case 4230 i owned. now its time to take it off paint it and the brackets add the 2nd ram and sit back and enjoy it1
Good to see you back Declan, good to see what you have been up to over the last while, how did the calves go for you on the milk feeder, looking forward to seeing what you are up to at the back of the slatted shed, nice to see that you made it out to Brazil aswell
Thanks Pierce for the comment, the rear calves i sold as weanlings for a decent price and i plan to do the same now this February. Back of the slats is a future build but i have it dug out now anyway. Made use of the digger while it was here but now to save up for the full thing. Brazil was a famous trip for any farmer beautiful landscape and that bit different they work alot with their hands and corn is there substitute for the green grass we are so found of in ireland. Have to keep an eye on our competition haha happy new year to ya!
Yes Ill be getting 2 rams, but it got me out of a hole for a few months, was not ideal but was what i had on hand, the whole thing was done on CAD and then i just used that ram to get the job done but needs a bit more reach for a better dump on the bucket for sure!
Some job 👍 brazil looks to be farming a generation or 2 behind us at this point, working hard. They may well be happier though. Did the solis tractors leave? Like others have said 2 rams would be the job on loader the one got you going though. Wrapping and drawing would suit you fine although not for everyone. I do agri business growing away nicely keep at it.
to be honest i didnt see a whole pile of tractors there even with a decent amount of mileage they are still working hard with there hands for the most part but i assume you're not wrong sir, good to hear from you again? Hows things out in Wales?
Where you put blue ram on the head stock is going to be an issue not trying to put you down. It's hard times out there. That's going to twist and do nasty things
Youre not wrong at all i think its time i take it off now after its been initially tested paint the boom and add a second ram and i can say gooday to the project and get as many years use out of it as i can
Good to see you back Declan, happy new year. Right job on loader but stick a second ram on, and plenty of grease. Give the front axle and hubs a check over too, that extra weight and workload will take its toll.
farming is mucky work it would instantly be stained but a good tip can be made in white or any colour for that matter but i chose the most fitting colour as i knew orange was definitely not going to match. But yes white can certainly be done
I would have reused the original 2 rams with new seals for crouding the bucket on the origional hinge points a loader with one ram will stress and possibly crack etc
I get what ya mean but it would have made the project more expensive than i could afford to fix all the pivot points on the self levelling and it would still be sat in the field now i have a functioning loader all ive to do is weld on 2 brackets and ad my ram
Also idk did you see but the bosses all worm on old rams the cost of new rams is far less rhan the time and money spent fixing new ones and aure cant i sell the old rams to someone and get rhe money back
Great content Declan , you’re a very skilled man You will need to be careful or UA-cam police will be down on you like a ton of bricks for not having eye protection when using the grinder etc
haha Thanks for that Eugene, i think the UA-cam Cops are more worried about me twisting my headstock in this video that my eyes being protected but sure they will always find something to charge you with haha
Oh Tom Im sorry to hear that can i have the first and last letter of of your surname i can check and send you out a couple for the inconvenience. Declan
I've tried that before, but sure it would take 10 weeks to get that amount of videos out but i plan to delve deeper into some of the projects starting with the loader!!
Welcome back Declan, great to see a video up again. Happy new year to you and all belonging to you Declan, all the health and happiness for 2025. I dropped you a message or two on Instagram. Would love to see what you are doing out the back of the slatted shed 😉
Same applies to your comment Connor, great to hear from you a happy and healthy 2025. Back of the slats project is a while off yet but we have step one taken care of!
@IDoAgri good man, I think we discussed the plan for the slats previously. Really delighted to watch your video this morning. Brazil looked savage, hope you had a great time.
@@cdemo1186 and im delighted to hear that yes brazil was some trip, that farm with the black pig is actually my womans granny's farm over there was famous to see, unfortunately they had a disasterous flodding right after we left but all is back to normal there i think!
Fair play to you lad. You’re a tough goer. Your Grandfather would be proud with the job you’re making of the place 👍🏼
Great to have you back! Loved the live vids of you designing your Case as a mod back at the start of lockdown, would love to see your Massey 265 as the next project 👍🏻

Fair play a lot of modifications gone into that loader
thank you sir, i was fair happy with it and its made a world of difference to my day to day life on the farm, better functioning than the quicke that was improperly installed on the previous case 4230 i owned. now its time to take it off paint it and the brackets add the 2nd ram and sit back and enjoy it1

Good two sea you back..get a door for the jd .and the exhaust back on side. Then it will look good. 🚜🐄🐃🐂
welcome back Declan .
Thank you!
You’ll have to change the design or get a second ram as the headstock will twist over time
Yes Ill be getting 2 rams, but it got me out of a hole for a few months, was not ideal but was what i had on hand, the whole thing was done on CAD and then i just used that ram to get the job done but needs a bit more reach for a better dump on the bucket for sure!
Ya it’s looking we’ll keep up the work really enjoy watching your videos
Thank you Darragh!

Lots of work. Every little bit of it is progress! Make investments today that continue to pay in the future 🙂👌. Good luck Declan.
One step at a time as long as we are marching forward isnt that it, great to hear from you again how are things stateside?
@ Right now bad😉, we’re digging out of the worst , 18”, snowstorm of my lifetime. Fuel pump just died on loader tractor 😁😂. Gonna be long day!
I have heard Brazil still have brand new sort of old type long nose Valmet/Valtra tractors, must be a popular make out there
to be honest i didnt see a whole pile of tractors there even with a decent amount of mileage they are still working hard with there hands for the most part but i assume you're not wrong sir, good to hear from you again? Hows things out in Wales?
Valtra have a plant in Brazil.

More cattle videos please 😂
Certainly !
Good to see you back Declan, happy new year. Right job on loader but stick a second ram on, and plenty of grease. Give the front axle and hubs a check over too, that extra weight and workload will take its toll.
Love the embroidery but the logo is lost as its similar colour to the pants..why not white ? In that situation ?
farming is mucky work it would instantly be stained but a good tip can be made in white or any colour for that matter but i chose the most fitting colour as i knew orange was definitely not going to match. But yes white can certainly be done
Thanks for reply ❤

Well Declan are you ever go back at the sheep
Still no door on the jd
correct your eyes haven't deceived you
You will need two rams on the tillt or it will just bend the carrier
Yes i will
It would have been eser to fix the self leveling
But it would be cheaper and i dont like self leveling allows for less control of the loader. And as a fabricator i was looking for a challenge haha
You’ve got a good looking guy helping you out there Declan!
U looking for a man ? 😂
I can get you his number, but you might have it already haha
Great content Declan , you’re a very skilled man
You will need to be careful or UA-cam police will be down on you like a ton of bricks for not having eye protection when using the grinder etc
haha Thanks for that Eugene, i think the UA-cam Cops are more worried about me twisting my headstock in this video that my eyes being protected but sure they will always find something to charge you with haha
Welcome back, I bought a livestock lock earlier last year and never got it. Just wondered if u were gonna send out any missed orders.
Oh Tom Im sorry to hear that can i have the first and last letter of of your surname i can check and send you out a couple for the inconvenience. Declan
@ thanks a million, it’s C and L, I have an order number I could send you on Instagram if needed
All the best for 2025.
Same to you Enda
U never got round to fixing the door 😂🙈 and how come you don’t lift the mower at the end of the swarth
The dead arose and appeared to many 😀😀😀
had to do something with the days worth of footage haha
@IDoAgri could have milked the job for a few weeks 😉🤣
I've tried that before, but sure it would take 10 weeks to get that amount of videos out but i plan to delve deeper into some of the projects starting with the loader!!
If you kept all your equipment under cover your equipment would be in much better condition, outside in the elements does not work
it will all be under cover soon in the hayshed but sure always a project stuck in the way but for sure youre right!
Welcome back Declan, great to see a video up again.
Happy new year to you and all belonging to you Declan, all the health and happiness for 2025.
