Making a hydrofoil pump wing.

A video completely focused on the process without me rambling on and on. This the how the 2300cm^2 wing is shaped from a block. Lots of machining and setup, finished off with a fair amount of hand detailing to make it perfect.

That is interesting. Thanks for the video. Just interested as to why you remove the wing from the blank when you flip it on the cnc. Would it not be able to be tabbed and stay in the blank 🤔

Wouldn't it be better the core was made from xps? Does carbon skin provide enough wing compression stiffness?

xps would certainly clean up a bit better. Once these cores are glassed up the tiny irregularities are a non factor. With proper lamination layering the wing is completely stiff even with just glass.
