I own all the Horrified games and enjoy each one. Looking to buy this one next. I like playing with my daughter or alone. So much fun playing coop games.
We went back and forth on this. Given that some characters get 5 actions default, we assumed it would be 7 since that makes more sense to us. We'll try to get an answer from the design team :)
From the first game, any special actions require an action to do where their ability just means that they can do it. Example moving someone versus the character that can add a plus one to an item so I’m gonna agree about it one action with discarding an item. That being said, this is an excellent review! Keep up the good work
Our set came with standee bases for the yeti children. We're fans of the series, but the instructions consistently lack clarity. Cthulhu especially in this set.

That would require a lot of licensing which isn't cheap and RA has recently been putting out cheaper games.
There is a fan made version on tabletop simulator (steam).

The Buccaneer does NOT have 7 turns. His special action takes a turn to discard. So he has 6 turns when he does his special.
