I have to tell you: I just discovered you about 2 weeks ago and have listened to I think like 3 of your videos plus this one. Awesome content, man! I not only get to hear what it's like to hear one of these driven hard, but also being driven normally! Thanks for bringing such entertainment and relaxation to this blind guy. Keep it up! :-D Oh! And LOVE how you don't have any wind noise with this! Just straight up gold, friend. :-D
I’m glad you shared that with me man. I’m happy that it is bringing some value to people. Any way you ride this machine is fun. It is a blast to wind her up at times, but also enjoyable just to cruise her around. The wind noise is kept at a minimum surprisingly. Thanks again!
Да ладно?? Неужели я наконец нашел нужный себе контентик))) From Russia it was difficult to find a channel with silent motorcycle trips around your area guys, I'm happy)))
Thank you for these uploads, we get to experience riding through the mountains on a Harley 48 without actually having one. Relaxing ride, lovely views. Even my stress level is down a bit. :)
Thanks for sharing your rides, this one is one of the best. BTW, I'm amazed about the courtesy of car drivers letting you go by, that's real conciousness!!!
Listening to this bike at the beginning, I just wonder if its compression could be raised. I just don't hear the hammering that I remember on my old '79 XLCH, which ran on premium when I got it, until I got thicker head gaskets so I could run on regular gas.
Btw bro I loved all the videos you made, but there is one thing to consider upon observing the exhaust you need to ECU Refresh your bike or Tuning the exhaust to aim the perfect ratio because I keep hearing back fire coming from the exhaust you might get bigger problem in the future if you don't consider it will destroy you piston or worst the engine itself. RIDE SAFE ALWAYS.
If Harley quits making these 48's it's either because they have lost their mind or because too many people don't know what a proper Sportster should be like. What a sad thing to end a line of the best Harley ever did, just when they finally got it right. They never made a bad Sportster motor, did they? I don't think they ever did. I'm thinking the brakes and suspension, and seat could be better but aren't The Sportster motors about perfect?
Any chance you have a link for your rear fender protection pegs? Been looking for something to protect the rear of my 48. Im a new rider and ive dropped it twice and am down a right taillight lol.
I don't have that link, but I think it was for another Sportster, but still worked on mine. I forget which company, it may have been Reveille or Dennis Kirk.
I LOVE the 48 - wanted one since 2012. Unfortunately I’m the size of a large hairy orangutang, so I looked a little awkward on it - so I got a Street Bob instead

I'm glad you experience it in that way and it is relaxing to get on one of these and just ride.

Of course, I'm glad you are finding some value in them. Yes, some drivers are courteous and thoughtful here.
Man, those pipes sound great.
Yeah man I sure am enjoying them. 👍
@@WatermelonMotoHead what air breather are you running on that? Just got a ‘12 48 back in April. Plan on doing a stage 1 in a couple months.
@@crucialchillmaster it’s an Arlen Ness Monster Sucker. The verdict is still out on the looks for me, but for now it’s perfectly fine.
I do love your contemplative riding style. Cheers from Hungary!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the ride. Hungary?! Cool man.
Take it from a safe riding instructor. That was a nice piece of riding. Keep it up.
Thank you sir 🙏
Just started my own channel, all truly inspired by your videos! 22' Sportster S

What audio recorder do you record sound on?
and where did you place it?
I use the GoPro on board audio with a foam cover.
What's the name of the gloves your wearing in the video? Would love to get a pair.
Lee Parks DeerTours

Haha man I might be a little big for this one too, 5'11 here, but the Street Bob is an awesome ride. 🙌
Like a GTAV
No, that's not it! The office is the real freedom 🤣

I use a Go Pro 8 and yes it's mounted on the chin.
