- After postponing our honeymoon for 2 years due to covid, we were finally able to celebrate our marriage in the Maldives. We stayed at Amilla fushi for 7 days in October 2021. It was a magical experience where we snorkeled with turtles and sharks for the first time ever. We also had a sandbank and private beach dinner experience.

Loved your vlog! Could you tell me a bit about what you packed and what you wore whilst there? I’ll be heading off to the Maldives for my honeymoon soon and I’m in desperate need of inspiration/suggestions on what to pack
Bring lots of bottles of sunscreen, hat, swimsuit coverup, and sunglasses. I mostly wore sun dresses, shorts, and sandals, leave the fancy stuff at home. Congrats on your honeymoon!

Amazing shoot. May I know which software you used for colour grading? and which camera?
Thanks! I use Final Cut Pro for editing, didn’t do much color grading. Everything filmed on iPhone 12 Pro or go pro.

Thanks! It’s not all inclusive. The room, food, and activities are separate. You can get the all inclusive meal plan which gives you a set amount of food and drinks for each meal. We thought it was plenty of food. There are also a lot of free activities and non motorized water sports are included.

Can you please share your expenses? Per night cost? And was it all inclusive?
You can find all the prices on Amilla Fushi's website. We got the all inclusive meal plan but that doesn't include excursions. The cost varies a lot depending on the time of year you go.

Pros and cons? Covid policies ?
Pros: beautiful once in a lifetime experiences
Cons: takes a long time to get there and expensive
Covid: pcr test before arriving in Maldives, another test once you get to resort (2 hour wait for results, cannot leave room until test comes back negative), no masks afterwards, they provide pcr test if you need one to return to your country
