Akosua Fire; My stylist blow Fry's the scalp, for maybe 3-4 minute's then she puts me under the dome dryer to get the hair completely dry for 10min. Then she press's it. My hair is 15 inches.
I love this video! This lady is so real, no bull shit, no smoothness like a lot of other hair you tubers. One of the only stylists I’ve seen online that doesn’t touch the nozzle on the hair! Learnt a lot from this video 🙌🏻
You really learned well. Her hair came out lovely. When I'm in the chair I just close my eyes and enjoy all the combing and all that. It feels good on my scalp and I only have to relax. I don't want the person to be nervous so I keep my eyes averted. Great tutorial!
I love teachers like this. Very clear, using comparisons to help you remember and understand the concept. I do miss doing hair, maybe a dry bar is something I should consider. I loved blow drying hair when I was an apprentice and stylist. I LOVE her attitude and her outlook on hair and her job. Such a great attitude!!
Thank's Kellly, You have the best training blow dry viedo on you tube. Loved it!! Like the way you wrap the hair around the brush before drying the length out. With all the professionals on You Tube, your's is the most informative. Looking foward to more.
Yes, she's very adept. I saw your video where your hair was short and platinum! Wish there were good hair stylists where I live. They just kind of are not as enthusiastic and really fuss like you do! Great teacher!
You were very informative. Great info. I love blow drying and I do it a lot but I couldn't figure out how to get curls like that without the curling iron or pin curls. Now I know to properly turn my brush and do what you did. Thank you.
You are sooo talented, thank you for great video, i got my license in1969 and still love doing hair, does days we didn’t so many blow dries, thanks again.🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
I love her. God bless her. She just needs to section hair in the right way, that way volume is added just in the right places. That's what is great about hair sectioning. Other than that, this woman is perfect..love.
I don't like when customers ask "how long have you been doing hair?". It doesn't matter how long, what matter are the skills you know and have. When you respond to them with a certain amount of years, they automatically judge you. If it's too little amount of years, they assume you don't know anything. When it's a lot of years, then they have high expectations. Not fair at all.
I never ask that. After all, I'm not having surgery! LOL! I just sit there with my eyes closed and enjoy the feeling of brushing and the cleansing and all that. I like to just relax. I don't watch, I don't want to make anyone nervous. No one is gonna do anything bad, after all, they are licensed so I don't worry.
I understand but I don't mind when I'm asked 🤷🏾♀️ If in their mind that judges what they think then hey that's them they'll be happily surprised when they see the results 🙂
Natalie Martin 😆 I m 15 yrs btc and when they ask me that question I respond .. for a while dear.. and other times I want to answer something like Hmm I just started yesterday .. are u cool with? that ha ha and if they get up from the chair and ask for another blow girl .. I let them go.. it has never happened but if in case that happens 😂.. I’m so tempted to play them around 😜
Thank you so much for all your videos, I’ve not long started college for hairdressing and am still pretty new to everything. Your videos are really helping me and am hoping I can master the hand position with the blow dryer soon. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn, instructions and explanations are very clear to understand x 💕
What an amazing Job she did teaching ! Hands down the best blow dry tutorial.... especially for cosmetology students.... thank you ! I favorited this video and I will be using this video many more times in the future ! I have been struggling with getting my curl down with The blow dry.... and this video is just so informative... really wondering if she has a UA-cam account.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Post like this inspire me to work hard to record, edit and upload those original videos. I am glad that they help :)
I can't believe how CURLY she gets it! The curl appears at the ends, but not starting from the root like she gets it. I wonder if I need to take smaller sections, or a slightly narrower brush.
Kelly did not use any products for the video, but you can use hair mousse, hair spray, and silicone shine products, and some thermal products are good, too.
thank you for share with us. I studied in a occupational center, what kind the products we need to use before and after to do a blow-out dry and stays for 2 days?
thank u v much u r wonderful !!! may l ask u something ? there are many sizes of the brush when to use the small .. msdium .. big ones? no matter how thick the hair is .. does the small give shape that the medium can`t ? for the fringe ... should l pick small or medium or big ?????? thanks
You have so much control over the hair that's coming out of the blow dryer and mine is out of control and the client's hair gets all knotted. Any tips?
Great! Thank you very much from the beginning stylist from Russia. It was a little bit difficult to listen because you speak too quickly for me :)) Many thanks anyway!
At stateboard when do I drape my mannequin during the initial set up or during the blow dry set up? Can I keep the same drape on with all procedures? Also, do I keep the hair clips in that separate the section for the curling procedure as well or do I take them out after the blow dry and replace? help! stateboard on Monday!
honestly that was the best blow dry tutorial. i'm a complete newbie and she broke it down piece by piece in easy to understand way. good job.
Awesome 😍😍😍
She is a very good teacher 👌

Hey, Kelly's awesome. Great video!
if shes from Texas..with super high hair LOL - great job!
Great Job. I loved it
It all depends on the length and your comfort. Medium is the best for me. But if the client has short hair, a smaller one will work, too.
Wow thanks for giving back....
thank you for share with us. I studied in a occupational center, what kind the products we need to use before and after to do a blow-out dry and stays for 2 days?
Awesome video!!
For thin hair use styling products before blow drying, it will hold better, otherwise use hairspray and curling iron.
Love her eyebrows.
great tips. I have very damaged hair so i cant use the bristle brush
I don't remember the exact time, but it was fast because she pre-dried the hair.
That girls hair is beautiful
I love it! Please could you let me know the name of the strap ,you tie on your shoulder?
I subscribe just because of her and this video

can this be done on ethnic hair
good tutorial
Hello, i want to take a course of hairstyling in New York can you recommend any schools? Where do you teach? thanks
You have so much control over the hair that's coming out of the blow dryer and mine is out of control and the client's hair gets all knotted. Any tips?
try sectioning the hair the same size as your brush. If you have more hair than the brush you can lose control. hope this helps!
Great! Thank you very much from the beginning stylist from Russia. It was a little bit difficult to listen because you speak too quickly for me :)) Many thanks anyway!
Pozhaluhsta! You welcome! Thanks for watching!
