I feel bad for Snow, she seemed so happy to be able to share her wedding dress with Emma and dark fairy ruins it in 2 seconds and it never mentioned again.
I feel bad for Snow too, so many times through everything. It is sad if they never mentioned her wearing the dress again.... I'm not sure what episode I left off, and I'm revisiting by watching these clips.

There’s very few moments in a girls life that she can have that experience/stress of finding an important dress. Although it seems sweet to have a wedding dress passed down, you believe you only get married once. I lost out in the experience of buying my prom dress bc my mom wanted me to wear the bridesmaid dress from my cousins wedding the year before and til this day I wish I could’ve had that chance to go shopping.

The retcon of the black fairy as Rumple's mom just felt like a repeated story beat. It was just Peter Pan was his dad over again but the writers clearly thought it was a lot cleverer than it actually was.
I can't believe she quit the show right after that. She was the main lead and throw it all away and is the reason the show got canceled. It could've went on a good 10 seasons.
Honestly.... I probably would've worn the dress anyway. The black feathers actually looked really pretty to me. It's not traditional by any means, but Hook and Emma aren't the most traditional to begin with. And it could've been kind of symbolic that Darkness and Evil will not succeed at ruining Light, Good, and Happiness. Taking something dark, touched by her magic only to cause pain, and tie it to something joyful.
The funny the Black fairy is also the biological great grandmother of her biological son Henry ; of most of the Characters in that were related to Henry , in way or another.
