Everyone’s knows Dave’s a legend, I just want to publicly state how much of a legend I think Pat is. Always smiling, always destroying it. One of my favourite guitarists of all time.
I have never really been into them...but I have always dug them when I heard them. There is nothing you can say to knock them. They are a killer rock band. The songs aren't always my cup of tea..but they are absolutely incredible as a unit. A true rock band. The sum of the parts, plus great song writing makes for an amazing band. I respect that.
This song has such a Prince vibe to it. I loved Medicine at Midnight and I haven’t LOVED a Foo fighters record since Wasting Light. I’m devastated by the loss of Taylor. It’s hard to listen and watch these but that’s what we have to remember him by, the years worth of great music and performances. Rest In Peace Mr. Hawkins 💔
This song is so fun and stripped down and elegant. The “finger snaps” (on the block, in this case) over the drums are really fantastic. I like it a lot.
Ok not gonna lie, I really didn’t like this song when it came out. But it has started to grow on me. I prefer this live version. Medicine at Midnight really is a great album. Sounds like classic Foo’s but tweaked a little bit.
Is it me or are the rock bands from the 90s releasing a lot of groove/dance oriented material these days? Smashing Pumpkin's CYR, Pearl Jam's Dance of the Clairvoyant and Incubus' Into the Summer all come to mind.
I feel like a common thread between all successful rock bands is that they’re all groovy as hell at their roots, it’s just easier to tell now because the super clean production highlights that stuff
Such a fuckn badass song. We miss you so much Taylor. You were the brightest fuckn light. Nothing but love to all the Foos and Family. We love you all.
Man every time I come back to the foo fighters they never seem to disappoint! & every record has been a little different from last and it’s sooo incredible!!! This songs sooo beautiful and catchy haha!
Heard it LIVE on Howard Stern and was digging it, heard it on the radio on the way home and I was singing it too, god home and put the video up on UA-cam and heard it about 10 times over and over while cooking, this morning making breakfast and I found this video LIVE .awesome work fellas .
I bought this record a few nights ago....love it....one of the very first new vinyl records I ever bought was Wasting Light in 2011....this band never disappoints
Leave your stick an inch above the head angled slightly downward. Use your index finger or middle finger for fulcrum, use ring and pinky fingers to strike and return to starting position. Ghost note! one E and Ah two E and Ah....
TAYLOR YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE LIGHT AND THE ANGEL OF FOO FIGHTERS.OUR WONDERFUL DRUMMER IN HEAVEN, WE LOVE YOU FOREVERSOUL OF FOO.WE MISS YOU. 💔🥁😇😇😇😇😇😇
I just love the Karma and Chemistry between the band. Dave and T.. Thanks for sharing.. Been a huge fan of Mr S. More years than most can remember. Didn't like the song at first but so got caught in my head.. This song will pop in my head at the injustice I see and keep my mouth closed mostly except for the people I trust.. that I hear in my head.. Those damn "ear worms" that I love so much.. There are many songs I reach into when I need them most and find it refreshing.
It's not going to be the same not seeing Taylor behind the drum kit. He is sorely missed. Rest easy, Taylor. You will always leave this hole in our hearts.

Someone said he's the Forrest Gump of rock. He's been in THREE insanely influential yet completely different bands.
Here in Ontario - so cool to see Pat wearing an Orillia sweater!
RIP Taylor. One of the best drummers and songwritters
"Taylor, do the drum thing"
😞
❤❤❤ 😥🥹😥
Pat looking fit. I swear the guy doesn’t age still looks like he did when he was in Nirvana.
He lost quite a bit of weight...he looks great.
I bet he likes kale 🥬
Pat is amazing!!
Shit he looks like germs pat lol
He most underrated cool guy!!!
Dave's voice is still so good. One of the best bands ever.
Yeah, I thought it sounded better than usual.
I have never really been into them...but I have always dug them when I heard them. There is nothing you can say to knock them. They are a killer rock band. I really dig this song...I was surprised how many people weren’t feeling it. It’s different but I love the drum groove and overall vibe.
Me too!
Me too! Song’s dope!
03/26/22 I needed to come here to hear Taylor"s voice about what he loves to do and experimentation that makes this great.....RIP Taylor.............

The harmony makes this a masterpiece.
I've said it once, I'll say it again....GREAT ALBUM! 'Shame Shame' Sounded great here and on SNL. Love the Foo Fighters....never a disappointment.

Foo Fighters meet David Bowie. An amazing song. The vibe of it is intricate yet it speaks to everyone. One of the best songs I heard in a long time.
Rest In Peace Taylor . You will forever be missed :(
Dave grohl is a legend, foo fighters will be remembered for a long time
I think I like this version better than the studio/album. The Foos keep killing it, man. Love them!
Ok not gonna lie, I really didn’t like this song when it came out. But it has started to grow on me. I prefer this live version. Medicine at Midnight really is a great album. Sounds like classic Foo’s but tweaked a little bit.
Every new Foo album I have this sensation... first listen: hm, weird, boring... then it become better and better, like magic!
Medicine at Midnight is a stellar album.
Love Taylor's ghost notes in this
I always impressed with whatever the Foos play...they always evolve like a river and they always rock it out...Great musicians...Great rockers !
The simplest of songs always end up being the best
My new favorite song 👍🏼 I love how Dave hits “buried it” with more soul when singing it live.
Really don’t understand the hate about this song. It’s amazing!!
What hate? From pathetic, sad-sack trolls? Pffftt to them.
If someone else played it, just on guitar, you wouldn't say "great song". It's a good one. But not a great one, compared to their best.
people hate different stuff

they’ve earned the right to put out what they want at this point
Cyr isn't dance
No
Such a fuckn badass song. We miss you so much Taylor. You were the brightest fuckn light. Nothing but love to all the Foos and Family. We love you all.
I enjoy this live version more than the one on the record! It feels a bit grittier and has more of a crunch to it in the guitar section! Awesome!
God I love that drummer! Heard about what he's been through. So proud of him!!!!
I love the dark and ominous vibe this song has and the odd time signature
My all-time dream would have been if David Bowie was still here. To do a version of this song with them.
no doubt Kevin!!
OMG that would be so good!!
This is possibly the best live preforms version I’ve heard of it yet!!!
What a tune
that fill near the very end is pure killer...
Taylor’s drumming is incredible. ❤
This song is so surprise is no the typical sound of Foo Fighters ,. I like it is refreshing
I don’t what it is about this song, but it’s just amazing to me. I absolutely love it.
Jesus christ that drum sound is so beautiful
Man every time I come back to the foo fighters they never seem to disappoint! & every record has been a little different from last and it’s sooo incredible!!! This songs sooo beautiful and catchy haha!
Love that Pat Smear is rocking his Orillia Ontario Lake Simcoe Hoodie !
Is there a specific link between him and Orillia? Google didn't help bring up anything lol, would be cook if there was since I'm from Hamilton!
What’s that? (I seriously don’t know)
I just noticed his hoodie. I'm from there, would have loved to run into him. Great tune!!
I really dig this song. AND it was appx 6 am in California when they performed this on Howard's show. Impressive feat at that time of the morning!
RIP T.H. 🙏♥
RIP TH. Miss u bro

Them ghost notes tho....Thats not that simple to get sounding that good!
Leave your stick an inch above the head angled slightly downward. Use your index finger or middle finger for fulcrum, use ring and pinky fingers to strike and return to starting position. Ghost note! one E and Ah two E and Ah....
Facts
Absolutely
Love that John Bonham sound drumming.
Ghost notes scare me
This is some brilliant music right here. They mixed so much love of old music right here..
Pat just looks so cool, man!
Hard to believe he’s 61!!!!
He looks great with grey hair...legend!
Have to admit, I was straying from the fold, was not prepared to give this song a chance, but hearing this from Stern’s studio is fucking sublime!
I love these talks with Foo Fighters!
TAYLOR YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE LIGHT AND THE ANGEL OF FOO FIGHTERS.OUR WONDERFUL DRUMMER IN HEAVEN, WE LOVE YOU FOREVERSOUL OF FOO.WE MISS YOU. 💔🥁😇😇😇😇😇😇
I've learned to play most songs on this album on guitar. The songs are actually incredibly simple, and I think that's Dave's genius. ♒
Top tune from an excellent band!! Rock on guys!!
RIP Taylor Hawkins....Legend
Que linda guitarra acústica , que gran banda. RIP Taylor :(
Since Neil is playing in the big gig in the sky, I needed a new favorite band with a cool drummer, so I got one with two. 😁🥁🤘🏻✌🏻
This song is a Vibe ❤
Amazing sound, mix and performance 👏 bravo!! FF 💕
It took me a minute to start loving the Foo Fighters , I finally got there and wirh Dave & Pat & cant help but think about KC

I love this song. Being a big narvana fan this hit home for me
@5:35 Taylor's tasty af triple crash there at 5:42... by far my favorite moment in this performance.
CAN'T BELIEVE TAYLOR'S GONE!!!!!!
Dave is such a nice guy
Pat Smear stands is so ROCK IN ROLL!!
What a great performance!
Pucha; los Fufos en vivo son lo máximo; un talento totalmente genuino. Una de mis bandas favoritas por siempre.
¡Que presentación señores! 💯🍷
This sounds sooooo good
5:42 brilliant and subtle
How good is the young fella on percussions & the back up singers sound sound so frigging good.
I grew away from the Foos a good while ago, but I love that they keep adding members to the band, seemingly because they want to.
A Magnificent song.💖✨️
Way better than the albumversion. The backgroundsingers are a real lift!
Great track from a great album, I really dig Concrete And Gold and Medicine At Midnight. Awesome production and tunes.
that is a kick ass song!
just before Taylor said when the levee breaks i was thinking to myself 'Led Zeppelin'
Great tune..
Truly its own animal...
This is way better, than the radio version. Foo is always better live.
Miss Taylor already..... RIP sir.
