When do you get these
People are hating on this remake too much. I think it looks great. I don't know why people are freaking out over 30 fps. I didn't notice it until someone said something about it. The music is also amazing. I guess some people just got to find something to complain about.
I think it’s blown way out of proportion. But it is a very legitimate criticism considering the original was 60fps on a far weaker console.

Poor frame rate equals input latency which is bad for a game that relies on precise timing.

I am never complaining about Paper Mario ever again. We are getting what is considered to be the greatest Paper Mario game ever remade and it’s all what the classic fans have been asking for and it’s all I could ever want and at this point, if Nintendo decides to return to their new Paper Mario formula of new, experimental games like Sticker, Color and Origami, I’ll be alright with it and if they truly return to form like TTYD and the original or even Super Paper Mario, I’ll be more than happy but also chill about it because no matter the outcome after this remake drops, I’ll be content and happy with just that since they finally returned to this amazing game and made it better than it could ever be. And that’s something I couldn’t never trade. Can’t wait to share this wonderful game with others and I will certainly not sell or trade my Switch nor this TTYD remake. It’s too precious to me and it’s meant to be shared.
Thank you Nintendo for listening and delivering. I can die a happy Paper Mario fan and you will no longer hear me complain about the series ever again. Thank you.
See, THIS is EXACTLY how I feel we SHOULD be thinking about this remake and Paper Mario’s future. The remake isn’t proof positive that Nintendo will officially return to form with the series. It could just mean they wanted to revisit an old classic because they knew fans have been wanting it before moving on with experimental Paper Mario. And if that is the case, then maybe that’s ok and we can all embrace what the series has in store for us moving forward because we can now rest assured that the classics we love aren’t going anywhere. Literally everyone seems convinced that the TTYD remake will begin a big new era and is ready to just cast aside the newer games forever-you are the first person I’ve seen share my personal stance on the subject; thank you!
How about paper mario and the 2000 year old door?
I _just_ now noticed that each Yoshi color has a different hairstyle. I don't know why, but I _never_ noticed that before.
To get the different yoshi colors you’ll need to start a timer, and before interacting with the egg you’ll want to time the timer right, since the different yoshi colors depends on the amount of time spent from receiving it to hatching it
As far as i know stylish doesn't give more star points for levereling up, it does give more star power for special moves
you are correct me must of confused the 2 when he was writing the script.
Still something to gain plus stylish moves are fun to do

This is my first time playing TTYD, I’ve played all the other games minus Super paper Mario (however it is on my list of games to play,) and I am pumped for my copy to arrive

Hope you enjoy it, it's one of my all-time faves. Also do play SPM whenever you can cause although VERY different from TTYD in playstyle, it's also amazing.

These are some very good tips especially for new players playing Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Remake for the first time. One of the best in this has to be the contact lens quest when I was younger I remember seeing it in a walkthrough of the game that said it was really important to order in the shop ahead of time before Chapter 1 to access Rogueport's West Side a bit quicker.
And gain access to cooking sooner!

A way to explain the battle system to a Younger audience is it's not too dissimilar to Mario and Luigi games

Stylish moves don't give you more star points. They trigger the audience to fill up your meter to allow you to do a super move faster

The main reason to see the traveling merchant is the Wario emblem . Then when you get the Luigi emblem you get the waluigi drip. Main reason to play imo.

Don’t forget certain badgers stack to increase damage
As expensive as it was, I actually got the 12 month online + expansion just to play the Paper Mario N64 version, which is kind of worth it because there's Yoshi, Kirby and Starfox on that and I don't want to emulate them on the PC. But if you are going to play the first Paper Mario using Switch Online, DO NOT rely on the save blocks, use cloud save states every now and then which is more reliable. The save blocks can corrupt and delete the whole game save file, but they don't affect the save states.
11:36 There ARE but you can find the Missing Logs in Frankly's Trash. The Atomic Boo being the best example as you can easily Miss the Mini-Boss Fight if you don't use the Super Hammer on the Boos in Creepy Steeple a Few Times. I missed it on my first playthrough As I wasn't aware it existed.

This game was a child hood classic . Now let’s hope that they make a game cube general and bring back most of it
These are even helpful for someone like me who’s only played the original a couple of times. It has been a while.
One thing you forgot to mention. When you get the spike shield and ice shield badges, you can jump on spiked enemies and fire enemies. Those really come in handy.
These are some pretty great tips for newcomers to the game. I still can't believe that my favorite Paper Mario game of all time is coming to the Switch in less than 2 weeks. It feels like a dream come true.

I've preordered this game and should be able to come to my house the day it releases 2 weeks from now.
Tip there is a concept art gallery in the new version that unlocks in portions if you get the shine sprites and Star pieces for each chapter
I personally love the newer set just as much as the older set. I played the newer set with my siblings and got to do voices and it was a great time. The older set was me grinding away by myself and going hard core on it. :D Both sets were a blast!
2:36 The thing is that each area can offer 2 to 3 levels ups with a few exceptions before you see diminishing returns in terms of xp. By level 20 most enemies including a certain repeatable boss will no longer offer much in terms of xp for beating them

Power Plus and Defense Plus badges are your friend. You want to maximize damage output while taking almost none in return. Use your items, im a typical item hoarder but use them! You will always have coins or items.
As soon as this was available for preorder i purchased it. The last time I played it was probably 10 years ago on my gamecube with my original save file from 2004. Yeah, I'm old.

The badge collection list isn’t new in the remake.
I didnt do the contact lense right away and did it on the chapter where you supposed to go past that npc and i order the lense and i went to the right screen and got the email that it was ready to pick up.

Do I need to know more if I've seen some Twitch streamer's whole Gameplay of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Gamecube version and know a whole game's story and because of that reason is it still worth it to buy The Thousand-Year Door HD Remake for the Nintendo Switch? I just don't know is it really worth it to pay almost a 60€ for a Remake. It looks so good, but i'm not so sure about it... 😮😅

For real though, thats probably a better idea. Im a veteran at Thousand Year Door, i wouldn't recommend people go deeper than floor 20-40 after chapter 1 unless they feel confident. Definitely try it though, there's some AMAZING badges in there.

For me, paper Mario TTYD was my first Mario game in general, good first impression but also set my standards a bit too high lol.

When Derrick Bitnerd was at GameXplain he live-streamed all of the Paper Mario games when he left GameXplain he put his streamed playthrough playlists on his YT channel Bitnerd Games I've watched them a lot except I started watching Andre Segers of GameXplain Sticker Star playlist since Derrick hated Sticker Star. When Sthe remake comes I hope Andre does a streamed playthrough playlist of it I'll start watching it and stop watching the Gamecube version.
LOL "Strange Sack" is named that way because it mysteriously is larger on the inside. Nothing weird about the name. Also, its not strange that the lotto ticket number is read backwards, considering this is a Japanese game.

Seems like for several of the points, you are assuming these things will work the same way in the remake as the original. I’m sure some of it will be the same, but hard to say.
My first paper Mario was sticker star, and yes I know how everyone feels about it, but I enjoyed it. I’m pretty sure I beat it too, I’m currently playing the first one on the switch online, and loving it. I probably will buy the TTYD, after I finished the first one though.

I have paper mairo 64 I never had a game that beat it I loved it that much as a child but I wanted to say I don’t think anything comes close to the 64 game I think closet in my opinion is mairo rpg I always wanted 1000year door bc it’s the 2nd paper mairo it’s the closest one ever to be made like the 1st but it costs soooo much on eBay i wanted the game in hand but when I seen it on switch shop ordered it asap this game is 💯 the same as the original idk why they made 1&2 the same and then switched it so much and all the ones I listed below I have the ones below I listed so I’m beyond excited to get this on Thursday ❤❤❤

This dosen't help at anything in the game at all, these are more just fun facts, i mean, the fact that in the remake there are special rooms to backtrack??? What does this help with?
It's more for new players, that have either never played Paper Mario or only the newer games.
The fact with the backtracking rooms is pretty neat, because most of TTYDs critic is that you have to backtrack a lot and with the mention of the new room it takes some wheight off the shoulders
