The 727 is my favorite aircraft. Even after all these years, I miss seeing the 727 in flight and at the airports. My last flight on a 727-200 was in November 1999. Thank you so much for this post!

What was the livery called before the Battleship grey livery? I remember from 1963 to 1976, it was the friend ship livery, then what came after it?
David Burgess Saul Bass Tulip Livery :)
So the livery history of united airlines liveries are friend ship, saul bass, battleship grey, blue, and the current continental merger livery from 2013, right?
David Burgess affirmative :)
can you do a united 737 800 fleet history I a the same guy that requested the volaris video
Northwest Airlines 727 fleet history?
I miss the battle ship grey livery so much sad I never got to see it 😭 now they have the ugly continental livery
I was hired by United in 1966 and began my career on the 727. That sure brings back memories. As for the Continental livery, I heard one explanation that sounds believable. Even though the "new" airline is called "United", actually Continental is the dominant entity in this farce, The reason it's called "United" is because Continental has already used all of their allowable bankruptcies, whereas United still has one left, In any case, that thing calling itself "United Airlines" is NOT the great company I flew for, for 36 years.
in 1982,is that plane in Victorville?
It says that the photo was taken on Las Vegas McCarran but it doesn't look like McCarran at all
S̶c̶a̸r̸i̷n̵g̵C̶rab 879 Agreed
