Thomas, anyone who knows the Bible will know that Jesus didn't finish salvation on the cross. [1]The Greek tense for, "It is finished", in Jn 19: 30, is, "Past tense" whereas the death of Jesus was future tense, [Dead me don't speak]. At best it was present tense, because Jesus was about to die, But His death certainly wasn't past tense. What was finished, was, The Prophecies about Jesus up to that time, The Old Testament sacrifices and the Old Testament. [2]In relation to the coming sacrifice of Jesus, He said how distressed He was until it was accomplished, [Finished], and when Jesus said it is finished, His physical suffering was about to end, but not His Spirit and soul's distress, as He had just died Spiritually Ps 22: 1. Matt 27: 46. Mk 15: 34. and was about to go to Hell, Acts 2: 27--31.
