Dynamic is a mode where you can change everything the way you like, engine, gearbox speed, steering feel, suspension firmnes, even the exhaust sound and belt tensioning. In efficent it saves fuel, by not allowing you accelarate agressiviely, also reduses a/c usage and regens power as much as can on downhills, automayicly brakeing the engine speed with alternator and shifting to lower gears. Allroad mode is the mode where it changes the suspension depending of speed and grip, on fast speeds it lower the car and on slow speeds whit bad grip rises the car for clearance. And on confort mode it makes gearbox shift softly, accelarate smooth and suspension soft,
We would like to see Vitara Vs Ford Kuga 2010-2013. I have a colleague at work that has this and he keeps on praising how good is ford Kuga at 4x4 ... I personally have some doubts.
It seemed to me like the Audi driver had a heavier foot compared to the Suzuki owner. A lot more spinning on some tests and when the car got free from the rollers it moved forward further than the Suzuki
So the lock in vitara is not a true central differential lock. By the way have you ever driven/tested Lada niva. Which one do you think will be better in heavy off road, vitara or niva
@@nisarbazmi7402 No, no such plans cause it is easy to predict the result. If there is no front or rear diff lock, it will fail lateral and diagonal tests.

@jp ch Yes, it is electronic. It is permanent only in Lock mode (up to 60 km/h). Sport and Snow modes are proactive with full feed-forward control - that means rear wheels are not powered all the time, but every time there is any need and advantage of awd or any risk of slip. Auto mode is partly pro-active (bad conditions), but mainly fwd and reactive to slip.
Xdrive is permanent with a basic ratio of 40 front 60 rear, if needed it will do 100 on either of the axles. It only uses computers to shift the torque. Its not haldex.

The engagement of the rear wheels in the Audi is practically instant. It's much faster than the Suzuki. But then the Audi is a much more expensive car.
Nope, that is not the time of engagement. It just looks like Suzuki is slower, that is due to automatic transmission and classic torque converter. If you release brake pedal, wheels are already spinning, but awd system is not engaged until you press accelerator pedal. Бесполезный тест, Кваттро как рвала всех в полном приводе так и будет. А эти тестируют Ауди в режиме авто, а Сузуки либо снег, или заблокировано. Ставьте так же режим авто и не надо юлить колёсами передними, чтобы сработала имитация. На видео видно как кваттро в любой ситуации маслает с места даже в авто режиме
The hardest test (on three rollers) is made in AUTO and LOCK modes (Suzuki). Besides in Audi AUTO mode is 4WD by default. In Suzuki AUTO mode is 2WD by default. So they are not the same (SNOW, SPORT & LOCK modes are 4WD by default).
Michał Heleski perhaps it’s the new Quattro ultra system without Torsten in it. That’s why the new Quattro has such a poor performance. All new Audi will use a new set Quattro system and the old legends may not exist anymore

Without heavy foot, petrol audi cannot pass this test at all. Diesels have better torque at low RPM so they pass this test easier.
@@BeZzeMa There is not much torque needed to pass such test. Besides this is turbo petrol, it has a lot of torque at low rpm.
