I don't know if it counts as a mechanic but since you included the little Tricky pushing your healthbar back. In Monochrome a Celebi appears 3 times using Perish Song, and everytime she cuts out a part of your health bar, so you can't miss as much notes as you normally would. Afther the third Perish Song if you get halfway in the healthbar you lose.
Mechanics are amazing and really add a spin to mods. Some of my favorite have got to be Hypno's Lullaby and Tricky. I also LOVE modcharts! When notes move everywhere! Like Detected in Hex and Taste For Blood and TGT V3!

As for the Super Mario Bros Funk Mix mod, the power up mechanic always works (except for the song "2 Player Game") when you miss and take damage.
of all mods on the list, lullaby definitely takes the cake! they have each mechanic for each song that definitely took a lot of time write. But that rating is probably bc i love the mod a lot so probably matt.
There is also a mod back from the beginning of FNF modding, which is the Vs.Guest mod. It has a minigame where you attack the Guest with a microphone, and he attacks you too. You can press a button to have Girlfriend heal you. It’s a pretty cool mod, check it out as well

My favorite mechanic on a mod was the Vs Galaxy 2.0 mod. Since I like how all the notes move around a lot. I loved it a lot tbh with how they make it difficult without adding death notes. It just haves soo many diffrent features for the note play. Plus I love their songs-
It's actually possible to re-enact the Taiko mode. Essentially, you just have to get the lane offset right, and you should be good. Make sure the notes don't look identical!

QT mod V2, which has you having to press spacebar when a exclamation mark appeared, (along with hurt notes). and A Beautiful Day Outside, which incorporated the undertale battle system into fnf.

Athazagoraphobia, the phobia of being forgotten has a cool mechanic where you have to defend the player of getting hit by big words and move your cursor to a trollge version of boyfriend in a corner of the screen, and theres also a part in the song where you have to hover your cursor to eye balls. If you dont do this you will die
from waht i know about fnf lullaby its a spooky song and its based on the creepypasta of hypnos lullaby but the lyrics are altered to be focused on girlfriend and yes the creepypasta is based on hypnos entry in the pokedex in fire red which i say nintendo regrets making as it says "It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized."

I also love notes where if you don't press them, you take some damage like the ruler notes in the Baldi's Basics mod. What I don't love is notes that kill you instantly if you press them. I hate them so much. I'm fine if there are only a few in the whole song but if it's like Expurgation, I hate it
Another new mechanic in FNF is in the Trollge Files (Blueballs Incident) mod, in the song Athazagoraphobia, it's like a boss fight, you need to stay with the mouse on the trollges to make them disappear, or sometimes put the mouse on your front in order to defend you from the projectiles of the trollge, and sometimes pass the mouse in eyes that appear on the screen to make them disappear and not let you die, this also have a health system that if you don't do those things, you lose health, besides the fact that you need to hit the notes too
A very nice mechanic is in the mod trollge files and the song name is Athazagoraphobia there your mouse become a circle and you need to defend bf from trollges what drain your healf bar and at the end of the song will be spammed with jumpscares and flashlights and your health bar is hidden. Makes it very hard to beat the tho to win is to lose the song and give up

a mechanic that people FORGET ABOUT (and that's unfair af) is the Gem notes from the Vs Noke mod (also present on the Times and Tribulations mod as a cameo of Noke) basically, when the opponent hit a gem note you LOSE health, and if you hit a gem note you gain MORE health, there is also the black gem that when pressed by Noke, will reduce your health to 1%, on he Times and Tribulations mod, black gem notes will also appear on your side of the screen, if you don't hit the black gem note you will die, being a do or die situation, either way, this mechanic is the one that STARTED health drain in any mod and that's why i think that it's unfair that people forget about it or about the Vs Noke mod

Also, my favourite mechanic is dodge notes, cuz I have to dodge that note or I will not miss it, favorite too is regain HP, shield in Matt Boxing, in V.S. Big Boo is moving and dodge these dangerous spike, but I love that. But they might mechanics in any FNF mods song is probably get harder or very hard.
