i found out that civilian explorers have oem factory paddle shifters on the steering wheel! i know someone who swapped a paddle shifting steering wheel in a fpiu, im waiting to see if he is able to program it and successfully make it work, because i may just do that!
Great vid. Hope they a non can bus version. I insatlled paddle shif ters on my new edge for shits and giggles. The left paddle controls the o/d button and the right is the horn😅. Wires getin the way sometimes but its still fun. Got the paddles of an lexus steering wheel. Those paddles on canshift need extensions/ upgrading for sure. Keep em coming, love the vids.
getting up the driveway on the farm in second gear is already manic enough with a 4.10 and 42lb/hr injectors... get the J-mod kit with it? need a 4 gauge wire to run the fuel pumps, the OEM 12gauge wire get's unreasonably hot... they pull 17amp's if they aren't pushing any fuel 🤣 bilge 🤢 pump it into the engine 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🥸😵💫 13mpg
@AeosDrop yea thats true but thats the cheap way and its definitely going to be use just for stock power vs paying like 5k to 6k for a brand new trans that can you beef up to handle more power going down the road
@@czotheghostgmail you can find a tremec tr3650 for less than $500 easy and then it’s just pedals clutch flywheel and manpower, can easily be done for less than $1000
@@czotheghostgmail besides why would you pay $400 for a paddle shifter kit that you can just use the column shifter for, when you can literally buy the manual transmission you would need for the swap. idk i just don’t agree with this as an alternative to a manual transmission at all
I really don't feel like drilling holes and moving a bunch of s*** in the car so I'm probably going to copy this mod from it's ya brother, lol another banger video
I’ve been rocking the canshift V2 since they came out last year, and very likely have the first set lol. I made a pair of shorts on them when they first came out, and I found that they do NOT directly effect acceleration, but combined with a Marty tune, they SIGNIFICANTLY increase fuel mileage with mild driving. I was making 14.5 MPG average (stock), 18 MPG average (Marty), and 22 MPG average (Marty and Canshift). They also help with winter driving, since you can stay in 3rd gear if you need it. Now that I’ve had them for a year I can say that they are definitely worth the $325, especially since they’ve probably saved me more than that in fuel since I got them. I like them so much, I bought a second set for my project car, and it doesn’t even have a good transmission in it yet lol.
I have been looking through your videos and notice Nashville and Huntsville mention. I am in Huntsville. I just bought a 2004 Merc GM 94000 miles. This car has been untouched. Didn't realize these cars had a big following.
Question if I wanna swap my intake I have a heated pvc valve and every intake I look at says it’s not for the heated ones can I use do I grab a new pvc valve any help would help
Yoo i have a 2000 ford crown Victoria police inspector and my check engine light stays on I believe its my catalytic converters but i wanted to add my marty tune up there but i need to fix the catalytic converters whats the best way to do that
Ok Mr Clean! Actually I am thinking of getting it for my 07 p71 lifted vic. But I have a 6.3 that the Menenite I bought this off did everything to this. The computer is tuned cat delete, and run on e87 and it has a cold air that is setting off the wrench symbol on the dash board.
Sadly they don’t make them for early models
truth, i would have loved it on my 04 marauder!
@@cljerjr31 best year and model of platform imo. all the modern bonuses without all the stupid modern shit
Keep these videos coming man! I love your videos! From Houston, Texas 🔥
Im also in Houston. We need to start a panther group

Just automatic with extra steps. Pretty cool though
yes but no. you get control over which gear. it can help in many situations

it doesn’t have to cost 5k. it can cost 1k which imo isn’t bad if you like the car

I prefer the cable tb over the electric any day plus manual swapping gives you an extra gear 👋

I really wish there was something like this for the 93 Lincoln Mark 8
The Expedition is still faster jkjk great work as always
