I was waiting for you, you’re usually first lol. Hinata’s uh-huh ad-libs and her spittin’. Ooof, I can’t wait for them to unleash Chisa and Juria on Woke Up. Cocona’s tone changes from her first line to the next was insane. Maya and her fast raps are always flawless. Then the bridge. Their bridges on all their songs never misses.
You know what puts XG on top from the rest is the signature things they do to their songs. Jurin’s “uh” is so iconic and you know that song hits when she starts with that. Chisa’s powerful vocals. Hinata’s ad-libs has so much attitude. Harvey’s unique tones when rapping and singing. She adds that flavor. Juria’s soothing but very textured vocals. Maya’s fast raps and cadence and let’s not forget Cocona’s swag when she raps and sings. Each member has their own part and it’s a mashup of greatness

I don't know if you've noticed or just paid attention to it but Chancellor is an actual monster, he raps, sings, he directs, he produces. Like he's THAT guy... I dunno, if you can just look into everything that he puts his hands on, it barely ever fails.
Anyway this isn't about Chancellor, this is about XG.
This is probably my favourite thing Harvey has done, I loved her flow and rap as a whole. I'm still on the fence about Coconas deep voice rap but that's just me. At first I felt like they just got her to put that in there just because she bring her voice so low but yeah, it is what it is. Love the song overall. Music video is nothing special but it has the lyrics included so you could have just hit 2 birds with one stone. Would have been a lot cooler if they implemented the girls into the music video, i feel like that was a missed opportunity but oh well.
