Bose F1 812 Flexible Array Speaker & Subwoofer Review by Guitar Interactive Magazine. Reviewed in Issue 39 of Guitar Interactive Magazine by Bob Thomas. bit.ly/GI_I39
Welcome to GI 39, ushering in a new year and with a lot of exciting stuff on board!
Our cover star this time around is the American guitarist John 5. Stuart Bull tracked down this chameleon of a player in Los Angeles and brings us an intriguing insight into a man who might as well adopt 'versatility' for his middle name. If you've ever worried about getting pigeon-holed in your career - watch our interview this fabulous guitarist!
Another candidate for the Great Contemporary American Guitarist is Andy McKee, widely considered to be the master of percussive acoustic styles and someone we have wanted to include in the Quiet Room section since way back when the magazine began. Whatever you do, don't miss Andy's exclusive performances in this issue!
As always, we've a packed issue of reviews and our free tuition columns plus the chance to win an astonishing prize - a genuine Taylor acoustic guitar! bit.ly/GI_I39
I reckon that's a pretty good way to start a New Year - don't you? bit.ly/GI_I39
Excellent review, thank you
Using mixer, how do u connect with L1 model II ? Thanks
I was at a wedding party and got to hear these first hand. The height that the top speakers stood on top of the subs were terribly low. This system is not good for a live application, it's for surround sound in a house to watch movies and also perfect for Karaoke only. It really lacks definition and long throw for a crowd of 200 more. A small wedding and 150 people DJ set up is acceptable.
Silly , Nonsense. We have ears to hear and eyes to watch DOZENS of vids with these speakers sets at High School dances. Weddings, Bars, Concerts and you name it. I won't even get into this things 5 star rating going on 10 YEARS and sales data but you work🫡🙄😒
Question; I own 2 qsc K12 speakers, can I use the F1 subs without purchasing the bose 812 for the time being and how would it sound?
Thank you Fred, I bought two F1 subs on Sunday. I did not get a chance to listen to them with my K12's
I bought them to replace my QSC 181 sub - weight and size.
once I listen to them I will report back.
How did the F1 subs sound with the K12's?
Dj Turk how did the F1 subs sound?
Are you going to fill us in????@@DjTurk
@anthonyg8435 yes, they sound great together... It depends on the venue size and people... you may need just 1 sub... they are very powerfull and the bass is deep.
If it's not Scottish, it's crrraaap!
Do not buy biggest pile of shit I've ever had I did 3 gigs with them and sold them at a loss of 1200 quid
What made them crap?
He won't answer bc it obviously wasn't the speaker's fault @@TeachDem
Now let's see you take the top off of the subwoofer stand without another person and a jack to force it up. Terrible design in the stand being way too tight, terrible placement of the handles and the bags are way too tight. I'm speaking from experience I own them all. I do like them but the designers were obviously not mobile entertainers. Skb made a custom foam for one of their hard cases and that case is so big you need 2 people to load it.
Ohhh
It shouldn't take 2 people to lift a 40lb speaker with Any Kind of built-in handles. Push comes to shove. Work smarter and lay it down BEFORE separation.
Its not 1000 watt's for christ sake

1000 watts total, 500 for the subwoofer and 500 for the array speakers. Get your facts straight kid.
@@zDerezzed You get your facts straight, KID. 1000 watts for Top Speaker & 1000 watts for the Sub. 2000 watts total for both. And that's 1000 watts RMS not peak power, KID.
