Amen, brother! I was also Buddhist and converted to Christianity about 3 years ago. I had similar experiences when I decided to convert. I was visited by very strange and scary phenomenon and I've always questioned it. You hit it on the head of the nail when you said that Satan didn't care much before converting because you were already his. Satan will do anything to keep you away from the Truth. However, we all know that he is already defeated as it is written in the book of Revelations. Heaven is rejoicing because 1 of the 99 is saved! God is good!

You were a Buddhist, and now you are a Christian. If that is true, then you came from an idolater and turned into a blasphemer. Christian is a religion. That is the truth. There was already a God before religions came. So religions are worthless and nothing in the eyes of God. The reason why I called christian religion a blasphemer because their mouths say they follow Lord Jesus but in deed, they denied Him. You need to know that Lord Jesus is a Follower of the Law of Moses. It is the ways and foundation of His teaching.

Lord Jesus is very angry at this religion for misguiding His people to walk away from His ways. Lord Jesus said the hour will come when the true worshipers will worship the Holy Father in Spirit and in truth. True worship means you worship Lord Jesus in holiness, and this holiness in obedience to the Law of Moses.

One who turns away his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an abomination.

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

When I was in either middle school or highschool I played around with ouija boards with my classmates. Then I startled having sleep paralysis where my body would lock up and I would see demons as well. I felt like they were always watching me. My mom even had to sage my bedroom. That stuff is powerful. I’ve since came to Jesus in college and he’s helped me overcome the desires of the flesh and sin. Praise God! He protects me and guards my heart. He tells me when content I’m consuming is wrong, and I no longer fill my mind with that sort of stuff: either horror movies, over sexualized movies and media or music. How can my mind be clean if I’m filling it with nonsense? I no longer have nightmares or feel scared. I feel completely protected by Jesus. ❤️ I’m constantly looking to see if the content I consume is affecting me, I analyze it and how it makes me feel and how God views it. Sometimes I realize I’m watching something I shouldn’t or that I am in over my head and back away. All thanks to God revealing His light! His goodness is incredible and I love Him so much! He’s my best friend❤️

I advised to christians not to followed the traditional christisn. We can call ourselves as a christian but do we have the understanding of the scripture in the Bible..? And do we know who Jesus really is.? Most christisns they don't know what the goal for them to becoma a chrustian. All they know just don't miss to attended the church on sunday and the worst is they just want to celebrated the christmas. This kind of christians they are easy to becomr an appostate christian. And they very fragile to be abused by some party to attack the christianity. Jesus is God. God bless.

No, Jesus came because the punishments and laws of Moses in itself could not bring salvation, so Jesus did not come to follow the law but to fulfill it, as also written, "anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
Notice, that even the one who sets aside one of these commands in deeds and teaching, will still go to heaven, while if your righteousness do not surpasses that of the teachers of the law, you will not go to heaven. So the teachers of the law who pretend that they, as humans, have the authority to judge other people in name of God and promise a pass to heaven by following the laws and punishments of Moses, are doomed.
Do the law of Moses not command an ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ ?, while Jesus quite clearly abolish this law and punishment in Matthew 5 : 38-40 by saying, "do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also." ? Did the laws of Moses not also command death and stoning for adultery ? while Jesus clearly set this aside, this and is talking about divorce for sexual immorality in a marriage in Matthew 5 : 31-32 ? Did Jesus not say in Matthew 7: 12 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.", which is the Golden Rule of Christianity and not the laws and punishments of Moses.
This has been a true blessing. I've had spiritual attacks throughout my life even after I gave my life to Jesus Christ. It's been challenging and most times I thought I would've died but He always heard my cry for help. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony 🙏🏽❤️.

Yes being all in is the key, we are called to love all people, but not engage in the things the world is doing. Hence the saying; “if God is in it, I’m all for it”. the opposite applies also.

Yes so true I backslid and fell into sin I couldn’t keep living the way I was I asked Jesus to save me and the attacks use to be so strong they have slow down but still come not as quite often as they use to but spiritual warfare comes in many forms.
Wow! I had a couple of spiritual attacks. They were physical attacks. God made a way of escape for me, hid me and then moved me, far away. I thought I'd d never hear of anyone else admit to spiritual attacks, but you did. Praise the Lord. God was there for both of us. Hallelujah!

As you can imagine there was such strong Spiritual warfare. It was crazy. I was like your children. I knew who Jesus was raised in the church, but I didn’t have my own personal relationship with him. I overdosed and then went back into drugs. But, God is merciful and He never let me go. My family kept praying for me. At 25 I was homeless broken and desperate and I cried out to Jesus for help. He took away my heroin addiction that day. I didn’t need methodone or anything else. He took it away. At 30 I was baptized and I received Holy Spirit. My life changed. I started to have a hunger and thirst for the word of God and my parents and I are closer than Ever. Don’t give up and trust that your children belong to God. He is not going to let them go. Don’t blame yourself. We all go through our own journey to find Jesus.

A wonderful and beautiful testimony. Back in the 90s, a Japanese lady came to my village. She's not a Christian. My cousin brother, who was our pastor at that time, bought a tee shirt, laid hands and prayed over it, gave it to her as a souvenir. She went back to Japan, wrote back and said she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. God works in amazing ways. Am praying for your family. Blessings

My cousin once told me that he had encountered a situation that I believe it's similar to yours and it was a little dwarf demon sleeping next to him on the bed. Though he tried to fight and box with him, but the demon was still sleeping beside him.....But the moment that my cousin prayed in the name of Jesus, that demon vanished instantly. Your story gives me goose pimples My story is just like that except I was attacked while I slept. A thing would come and hold me down while I sleep and I always cried out "Jesus, Jesus help me!!" Even in sleep I knew what ever it was, was evil. When I cried out for Jesus the thing would go away. This went on for a few years. The thing got smart and the last time it came it covered my mouth so that I could not called out for Christ. But in my mind, I said I don't have to scream, Christ can hear me so I screamed out for Him without words and the thing went away. It has not come back..Praise God!

After realizing this I realized something similar happened to me but I thought I was just dreaming but now I feel that it may have been real, or maybe the entity was attacking me while I was asleep and that's why I felt like I was dreaming. There have been a few occasions where I feel some dark force is smothering me and holding me down but then I "wake up" and I'm unsure if it was real or not. I have also had dreams where this happened but it also felt real like it was happening in real life.

Brother your testimony has blessed me so much. Praying that my family members who are still Buddhist will be drawn to God and this testimony touches them. My grandma was a devout Buddhist her whole entire life. Gave numerous offerings and so SO much money to them but when she was on her deathbed, at 90 years old, the church went and prayed for her. She felt the presence and accepted the LORD JESUS then and there! Praise God, his grace and mercy endures forever!

I had a friend that was Buddhist and yet still a diehard atheist and rationalist. A super nice guy, his Buddhism methods kept him pretty centered, but did not believe even in a higher power. I find Buddhism very confusing. Some seem to believe in some sort of god, and some don't. He was definitely in the camp that didn't. Can you try and explain this to me a bit? I'm a lifelong Christian and I know a bit about other religions, but Buddhism seems the most impenetrable. Though there always seems to be some parallels to Christianity w/ the other religions. W/ Buddhism, they seem to have a similar version of the 10 commandments. Though as Matt had pointed out, they are more suggestion or precepts to live by. He saw Christianity as too authoritarian.

If he wish to speak to me directly he can but hard to convince someone, all we can do is share the truth and allow the Holy Spirit to convict their heart. One thing you can do to help your friend is pray for him, dont ever give up, we fight for them through prayers, in the spiritual realm

I was a non-dualist Hindu then Buddhist for 40 years. Then, when my life hit bottom in 2014, one night my knees hit the floor. I prayed🙏 to God and Christ for help for this broken, lost man. In the 1 second it took for me to get back on my bed I was unmistakenly filled with the endless love of God and Christ. At that moment I knew that Jesus Christ IS my Savior.

I feel so blessed that I have watched your testimony Brother in Christ. I can truly relate with you coz I had that same experience. Year 2020 I was demon possessed just like your sister and I had that same fear that you described that was became the portal for demons to come in. I had those demon attacks many times through sleep paralysis. It was a long story but I was healed in Jesus Name through prayers and fasting. It was a miracle coz if not by His grace I would have been insane and worse, dead. But the God that we serve is alive, merciful and powerful! I'm still alive and I've come to realize that He allowed it to happen so that I can glorify Him. To show me how powerful He is! Nothing is impossible with God we just have to trust Him fully. Satan is real but Jesus' power is incomparable, limitless. I'm already sharing my testimony to others but I do pray that I'll have enough courage to testify in my Church so that I can reach more people. To let them know how real God is. Being a Christian isn't an easy journey but following Christ is all worth it. God bless you more Brother! May we all be worthy when Dearest Jesus comes! 🙏🙌

Lots of people are doing the opposite from Christianity to Buddhism. May Jesus have mercy on them. I left Christianity for a long time doing my own thing, something tells me I had to run after Jesus again and start reading the bible with fresh eyes. One good thing to remember is that our emotions are not always an accurate way to measure how close we are growing in our relationship with God. God gave us our emotions, yes, and our emotions are beautiful! However our emotions are not always a good gauge for measuring how close we are growing to God. It is tempting to seek the “high” feeling but those feelings are generally not sustainable.
With God, the feeling that a person might get after a retreat for example does happen on occasion. I often get the same feeling at Mass sometimes during the consecration, or when hearing a certain song or hymn and I really treasure those moments! Most often though, prayer time or Mass can seem rather dry or dull and I don’t feel much of anything. THAT is when real faith comes in. You see it is easy to go to Mass and pray when you feel on fire for your faith isn’t it? When you love God and feel His love it is wonderful and prayer and worship is easy! However when God feels distant and the readings at Mass seem boring and the homily is hard to understand and there are loud children around you and you can’t concentrate, those are the times when Mass is hard but when you PERSIST anyway I promise you that grace will abound even more!
Jesus said to “pray always.” He didn’t say to pray when we felt warm and fuzzy He said to pray always and when you do you will find that even after the times of spiritual dryness you will find a growth in faith that you couldn’t even imagine! Hope this helps a little.

That is when real love manifests
When people choose to continue loving honoring and obeying when you don't feel anything when you don't want to do it and you do it anyhow
That is a picture of how following Jesus can be at times
The feelings come and go the love remains and grows stronger
Like you said persevere.
And we can do that because we know the love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus will always persevere for us
He loves us at all times
Praise the One who has borne all our sins to the cross
He took our sin and shame in order to give us His righteousness and share His glory and make us part of the family of God

I have to say... I have been Christian my whole life but I was lukewarm, not at all trying to give it my all to God. A few weeks ago I took a look at my faith, I wanted to do what I didn't do before.. I want to give my life for Him, to fully trust Him and do what He wants. I just don't know how to do this, where I am, what I have to do... your words about giving your all were exactly what I have been thinking about in these past few days. I feel like I haven't done that yet, but I don't know how to do it ...
Fast and pray and seek God with all your heart
🥖You must be committed to serving God, think of it this way, have you ever wanted something so bad but never really commit to it? What was the result of that?? If you want something you will do everything in your power to get it! You must have an obedience life style, pray for guidance and fast to get His attention, love Him with all your heart and everything that you do, do it to glorify God, so examine every actions and thoughts! God loves you!!
I was in the same boat. I grew up a pastor’s daughter and it was just “the thing to do” or tradition. I would always hear people in church talk about the hunger and fire they had for God and I never completely felt it. I believed but never sought Him out fully. I’m 37 years old and just now found this fire and this hunger to learn more and it’s like my eyes have finally been opened. I would say start with reading your Bible and really getting to know Him through the word. I got a Life Application Bible to help me understand. The more you learn, the more you want to know. Pray and ask God what is your gift and what is it He wants you to do. I did and he told me teaching and speaking was my gift and what I needed to do. I’m continuing to learn my Bible and waiting for him to show me the way on how exactly to do it. I think i know how, but it’s scary. I’m praying for clarity and strength to carry it out. I think He communicates in my dreams and through random things that seem coincidental but are not. You can do the same and I promise if you seek Him, He will be there and He will tell you what you need to do.
Tony, Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for getting the truth to you! What a Good, Kind and Loving Saviour we have. I was not raised in a Christian home. My father was military and we were stationed in Japan for four years. We participated in many of their traditions. We moved back to the states and at 17 years of age, I heard God’s simple plan of salvation. It took me sometime as I didn’t understand the need to be saved. Saved from what, I wasn’t drowning! But when I saw that I was a sinner and need to repent and ask Jesus Christ to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart (lots of people have Jesus in their lives, saved and unsaved) and forgive me of my sins. Then He came in and sealed me unto the day of redemption. I can NEVER lose it. I am His and He is mine! I can and do do things to break fellowship with Him, but he can never say He never knew me. If I confess my sins to Him he is faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. That doesn’t mean I’m am praying again for my salvation, but to keep my relationship clean and pure with Him. Yes, it is so important to get everything out of our lives that does not bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ. When we let things in, we open doors and demons do come in. It is so important to ask the Lord Jesus Christ is there is anything in our lives that he doesn’t want there. Father, please show them to me and when you do help me to see them and have a heart willing to repent and remove them (close the door). Jesus Christ came to this earth to do the Father’s will. Jesus Christ had a free will and surrendered it to the Father (nevertheless, not my will but thine be done) in the Garden of Gethsemane. By the Grace of God, we can surrender our will to our Heavenly Father. It is a privilege to be able to carry our cross here on this earth. Is it easy? Not always, sometimes it is very hard. But this life on earth is the only time we have to show Jesus Christ how much we love him. It is and will be worth it all when we see Jesus Christ! As CT Studd once said:
“Only one life twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last!” Looking and Longing for our Saviour’s SOON return. ~ Perhaps Today!

There are quite a number comprising of Catholics and Evangelical churches here. Presently I am not attending Church services as I am physically handicap due to my spinal cord operations in year 2004 and somewhat having semi paralysis coupled with total numbness from my next downwards.
