I heard this song in the summer of 1983 and saw the movie almost 42 years ago and even as a young person, I was mesmerized by the honey-voice of Lata Didi though never knew in that age what the lyrics meant. Now I am over 50 years old and still, this song hasn't lost its charm and is as fresh as it was decades ago. The magic of RD's music and Lata Didi's angelic voice, imprinted on the heart forever.
