You should really run them in ducts or have indirect lighting. If you want it to look good, you schould not be able to see the leds.

I love that music mode doesn't have to be rainbow colors flashing! The rainbow flashing gets way too distracting, especially if these lights are in a car. I've been looking for a music mode with one selected color for some time! Thank you!

My just came in and imma put them on when I paint my room. VERY EXCITED. I got two 32feet lights. I plugged them in real quick and they are really good so far. Thankfully I saw this video before buying. I almost went with boring basic ones

Hey! Thanks so much for the detailed review. Do you know if I could set up multiple strips on the same app? Like one for my tv, one for my desk and so on.
Yes you can group them in the app to act as one
If you updated the app over the last 2 weeks now they have some INSANE preset lights so so many new ones now. If you have the govee app and the RGBIC led lights make sure to get the latest update/firmware update for your lights.

Do you know if it’s possible to cut the strip into say like 4 sections so I put the sections in different parts of my house? Would I need an adaptor for that? Or in your experience is this not a standard feature that comes with led strips and they need to really be purchased separately if you want led lights in different spots?
You can put them in seperate spots but these cannot be cut

In order to get the real effect you need to use mounting channels, you put the LED strip in the channel tube and it has adhesive on the other side to stick on your wall. It makes it look so much better. I did it last week and it makes it looks expensive af

Can we play music on our phone in the Govee app or does it only pic sound from microphone?? I want to know if i am able to play music on my phone.
You can't use like spotify , pandora, apple music directly because no led strips can. But only the mic on your phone

There isn't really any led strips in general that are allowed to use third party apps within their app itself

I just bought them they are so worth the price and easy to install. However, I do need to buy extra connectors but still worth it. My little brothers room is now on 🔥
