BBC breakfast: A first proper taste of winter next week

We are going to get our proper taste of winter next week it will come in two waves some will get a reasonable mild weekend but the blue colours on the thumbnail tells you colder air will come later during Saturday into Sunday there will be a clash of air masses on Monday then colder air Tuesday onwards.
We need to look out for lonely ones and people who will become vulnerable. Unfortunately I have to put the heating on full blast because of my mental and psychical illnesses. My utility bills will be sky high but I understand everyone’s in the same boat .
A&E departments are now under increased pressure heres a few reasons why :
The spread of winter viruses, such as influenza, norovirus, and respiratory diseases like asthma and pneumonia cold weather can worsen conditions like heart failure.
Please get advice off doctors they have an important role to play in your lives be safe keep warm it’s time to stay indoors more than going out.
It’s worth ringing up your electrical and gas company to get a better deal you might be on high priority.
Get advice , information reach out for help you desperately need it’s going to become colder as days pass.
