This is my favourite episode from series 3. It’s the only episode in the main part of the series where both red contenders win and I like it best when the red contenders win!
Hey, I seem to remember this episode from long ago! I had this episode on an old VHS tape right after three episodes of The Main Event with Larry Emdur. Good memories.
@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 You know All Four finalists actually earned the spot for that ashes series. That was announced in the series grand final as the great news for all four finalists. If only they were able to do another American series (which got cancelled unfortunately), they should have done Australia vs USA.
@@coordinator3039 in the 2nd series of the ashes in Birmingham where our UK version was filmed. Mark Everitt our 1995 male champion(he was in international gladiators series 2 and got to the semi-finals but got the flu) had no chance against the Aussies
I wonder why? He’s my least favorite. Like at 40:40 when he throws his equipment at the contender after pushing him off the bridge-that’s totally unnecessary and unsportsmanlike.
@@drewconway7135 I thought so. And what about series 4 in 2008? I suspect smitty manufactured Bill Harriman’s Jersey (with John Forsythe as his assistant).
Think that fall injured tower he appears to be limping after and probably hammer had to do susp bridge in his place and he is out till the final so makes sense

Delta gives me lightning energy on the rings! What a queen

Marissa and Stubbys are both so dominant in this one. Neither Peter or Christine really stood a chance at any point.
This is why Marissa won, but Paul Stubbs was no match for Paul Reynolds from episode 9.
@@coordinator3039 I've heard of those contestants because of series 2 of the ashes which was in Birmingham where our UK version was filmed at the time

Stubbsy
Cheeky reaction by Mike Hammond at 3:17 to Marissa's "I'll try anything once." lololol
30:35 Stubbsy defies the laws of physics with a pro gamer move
Great athleticism
Do you know who voiced the challenge profiles? ..PYRAMID!
30:34 You jinxed it Hammey
Vulcan has to be the most popular gladiator

HAMMER!!!!!
Glacier faced Jazz on Suspension Bridge in international gladiators 1996 in the heats
Who even manufactures the uniforms worn by Mike Whitney, John Forsythe, Neil Waldron and the gladiators? Is it Lynx?
Yes. In series 1 it was Saucony, but after that it was Lynx

@@coordinator3039 Not sure. I didn’t watch the revival
Last week the female challenger did the eliminator in 1.05 tonight Marrisa did it in 1.03 to give a new women's record time.
Remember when the American Contenders defeated the Australian Challengers in the international grand final?
In suspension bridge you had the battle of the Physical Education teachers and it ended up a draw.
Also the battle of the ambulance officers with one being victorious.
