🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOPS#TO...
Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_r...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station. - Авто та транспорт
Do you know Inspector Sands? ⭐
“Will inspector Sands, please report to the control room”
This version: “Will Inspector Sands, please contact the station Control Room.”
Inspector sands is a code name so passengers aren’t immediately panicked over a situation.
@Xstgamer412 & BPL_North Yep! This was announced as a test although I’m just glad it didn’t happen when the HST was leaving 😃
Great Pun 😂
Rumour is... they are still waiting for Inspector Sands.....
And it’s been 2 years
Another excellent railway video, St Pancras International is one of my favourite stations.
Me too imperialist, I wish there was more Eurostar traffic though! 😃 Thank You.
Love Saint Pancras, loads of variety and trains going to my local stations!
Same I love Pancras I’m from Leicester and want to go I have went Nottingham though and Glasgow central that’s the last on my to do list xD
Gosh, that must have been a scary announcement of Inspector Sands. Nice variety and indeed the farewell to the HST's.
He gets about a bit Ricky! I’ve heard him at Leeds and London Euston. It was also very loud in my ear but worth it for the last HSTs 😃 Thanks as always.
Great video mate. Nice to see Eurostar departing out of St Pancras which is good to see her leaving 👍
My initial thoughts:
Love that 43102 is in the video. HOW are you so good at getting this train your EMR videos
Lot of 222 Meridians going to and from Nottingham, Sheffield, and Corby, the occasional Javelin. So before EMR connect launch. Some refurbished and some not.
Love the HST consist, with 43102 in front, and 43274 in back, fastest diesel train and refurbished train.
Love how the Eurostar 374 has good acceleration.
Will we see a video of EMR connect on your channel? It had a better timetable
Love the way you saw one of the last ever 43102 incredible vid
Nice to see you have EMR HST footage! Sadly I only have have HSTs filmed.Great video as always from Adam!
I love 43102 there sad they are gone from the MML now but it was given a proper sendoff
Awesome video! Love St Pancras
Great Video Starlife,Waited 1 Whole Week And Gods Truth it was worth it!
Incredible! One of the best I've seen from you, and that says something. I've spent the day at Marloes sands, Pembrokeshire 😀
Thank you, that means a lot Lord Everything and you've been with me for a while 😃 Interesting location in Wales! Hopefully you had some good weather!
@@StarlifeStudios thanks! Weather is great here 😊
Great video,
Great video 👍🏻
Thanks as always David 👍
great content in this video!
Glad you think so TransSpotting Ldn! Thanks for stopping by 😃
Good video. I’ve been watching for awhile but don’t comment much :)
Ngl my reaction to seeing this was, and I kid you not:
I’ve been looking forward to this
19:05 You'll be going nowhere!
4:15 Inspector Sands
So the main St Pancras building, north of Euston Road. It was the obvious candidate to replace Waterloo for the Eurostar services. I went to Sheffield twice in 2003 (before the revamp) and 2009 and 'The Wandering Javelin' (that was a railtour for the six car all standard rolling stock) in 2014.
all hail St Pancras International!
15:45 h0nk Great video lol
Starlife,What is Your Favourite Mainline? Mine is The West Coast By far! I’m Glad you mix up the variety unlike most Trainspotters out there, your different In a Good Way!
Thanks Viaduction, I like the East Coast Mainline the most. I enjoyed it more with the HSTs and 91s instead of Azumas but the ECML South is still a great place to catch variety even if they are mostly just Siemens Desiro and Hitachi AT300 liveries 😃 I like the WCML South (319s) and North (397s) as well though :)
Totally Agree! Your Not The Only One Who prefers HST’s Over Azumas... Lol
Inspector Sands causing trouble, again
Isn’t It Cool how Some Trains Go to A Different Country? The Eurostars I Mean
Yes and it’s very rare in this country 😉
Ikr! I know This is Completely Off topic, but I saw the flying Scott’s Man At Stalybridge Yesterday lol
Thought this also included the EMR Connect Class 360s that were cascaded from Greater Anglia or did they enter service at the end of May. As they are now working to Corby and Kettering.
May 16, the 360s went between Kettering and Corby, but they didn’t go to London until a bit later on
I deliberately filmed this video when the HSTs were still around since it was impossible to film both the 360s and HSTs on the same day. Once the 803s start appearing, I’ll probably come back here 😃
@@StarlifeStudios Class 803 East Coast Trains at Kings Cross is a great idea and the Class 810 to start service from 2023.
Hey there, love watching your videos but I have 1 question, what camera do you use because your videos always look fantastic and I'm looking to upgrade from my not-so-good iPad. Thanks, Cameron
Brilliant video! Could you please do Bolton (Lancashire) 😄
Well, my wish was granted 😃😃😃😃
43102 is now preserved after taken out of service 2021 …
You should put a post so we can do questions.A good idea I think
Wondergul video! Can i enter info this station with the Oystwr card and take the train to London Blackfriars/Bridge
Yep! You can even use a contactless payment card like VISA or MasterCard instead of Oyster (and it’s cheaper!)
Can you do a video at Ashford International?
Im lost, your pinned comment was posted 20 hours ago 😆
He had a lot of time to prepare. Private before public
He wrote the comment whilst the video was on private and then unprivated the video
@@collectivelyimprovingtrans2460 makes sense
I always try and upload the video at least 24hrs before so that it can render the 4K quality correctly. I had a laugh writting that comment 😃
Cool Video :(
Wait, where are the 360s?
Hi Rayhan, the 360s were not in passenger service at this time. Thanks 🙂
OK. No probs.
How did you make your intro
I thought they were going to scrap the HST125, they are still in action???
Intercity125s remain in service with Scotrail CrossCountry Great Western Railway and Network Rail.
MML has lost its claim to fame since the HSTs went
I couldn’t agree more, I genuinely have no interest in filming this route now. Similar to the Great Western Mainline (expect far west)
@@StarlifeStudios the Devon and Cornwall bit is fine but the bit north of Bristol is kinda dead
Hi
Give me a Clue of where the next video is😆
I can’t give you that big of a clue! I will tell you it’s a station operated by a train operator that I have never ever filmed on before. 😉
Hmm.... Chiltern Railways? 😈
Do trains at london liveool Street
_Inspector Sands is the best._
wenn i im dream the wahl hätte welches land me zu entscheiden dann würde i sagen GB weil da gibt es züge the better sind
Inspector Sands was rudely interrupted while having a no.2!
🥴💩
Oop inspector sands o no
Do you know him? 😃
@@StarlifeStudios yeh i wa sat norwich when they did a fire alarm test
