Gothic Script, also called Blackletter, was designed for paper & ink. Chris has developed a Gothic Alphabet that conforms to Gothic Script but is designed to be carved in wood! You can follow this link to download the alphabet for your own use.

is this video the same content you offer to your students on your carving school?
if so how do your students feel about you offering UA-cam viewers the paid student content for free..?
Squidskunk - It's a good and fair question. We are very mindful of our paying subscribers. What you see here is an abbreviated version of the actual project. All our UA-cam content is a very small fraction of what we have on our website (approaching 700 lessons for example) and we put up fewer than 6 UA-cam lessons a year. Our members understand our need to get new subscriptions to Woodcarving Workshops.tv in order to survive and UA-cam is an important way to get what we do for woodcarving out there.
My tools are sharp, and I think it's time for another go. Thank you, sir!
