Those who perform this dance well generally learn from Upscale Night Clubs, or from people who attend upscale private parties or events where dancing is the key feature or draw. We took a 4 hour Dinner Crews one Saturday night that was sponsored by the UAW-AFLCIO. They had live entertainment and an excellent DJ who knew what music people wanted to dance to. There were over 1-K people of all nationalities and age groups. When our group started doing The Wobble, a lot of the white couples and some of their teens joined us to learn how to do it, and many of them had rhythm with some picking it up really quickly. The point is, you don't abandon them until they get it right. There is More then just One way to do the Wobble, and you'll see a variety of methods when on the dance floor. All people have to do is find the method AND "Rhythms" that is more suitable for you. Watch the youtube video " Wobble Line Dance " When you zero in on 5 - 8 people individually, you will see they are all performing the same dance, but with their own individual routine that is comfortable for them .. especially the men. Some people like to use a lot of hip gyrations, but you Don't have to .. just learn to maintain the "Rhythm" and you'll be able to perform the dance well. Particularly watch the guy who looks about 60. He 'cool-breezed' his way throw the entire dance and barely broke a sweat! :-))
