Yoona Tiffany they sound similar! but not to the point where it can be plagiarized. the song said 2000’s hip hop medley type in the description. and that’s what it shows, the music in 2000’s were like this. the medley is very different. coming from someone that studies music. The tempos are different. Using a metronome, the Cupid shuffle song is at 132. Left & Right is at 142. It’s a BIG difference. The keys are also different. They aren’t the same. The instrumentals in the song are also different in the medley. the whole song has a different meaning behind it as well.

Pledis are a VERY controlled company. they never let their artists speak up abt problems by themselves when they clearly want to. woozi said it was inspired by 2000’s hip hop music but didn’t name the artist. they probably wanted them to keep their “self-producing idols” label and not give proper credit. a vague description clearly to not credit him. seventeen know what’s right and what’s wrong especially since they are known to speak up abt stuff and issues like this in the world. members are from America as well so they most likely have heard of the song too. let’s just hope Cupid gets the credit he deserves before it gets worse.
All producers' music in some way have been inspired by other music. Taking inspiration from other music doesnt strip them the title of being self producing idols.
The beat from 0:16 and throughout this song, sounds the a little like Seventeen’s beat in Left & Right BUT!!!!!! Can you hear the *PAAM* at the end of each beats? When you listen to both songs for the first time you will think that it’s exactly the same but when you listen to it closely, you’ll see the difference. I’m a dancer, my dance teacher would always count our steps that’s why I was able to determine the count of the beats. I tried singing left and right in Cupid shuffle’s beat and the verse got slower. Plagiarism is when you copy the exact work of someone else’s and claim it as your own. I think pledis is ignoring him not because his opinion doesn’t matter but because woozi is an artists under pledis and he worked hard on that song to be called someone else’s song. You can tell the differences of each songs! If pledis acknowledges Cupid shuffle’s accusation and give him credit, it will discredit the composers and producers of Left and right (woozi, vernon).

How do y'all know if it was sampled or not when you don't even see the composition breakdown bc even if only the pitch and sequences are different it couldn't be considered as sampling. We all can say it sounds the same but if he's gonna take a legal action he needs to look closely to those little details or else the whole argument is invalid.
Are you dumb? The artist of Cupid Shuffle is telling you they sampled his song and did not credit him or pay him. You obviously will not know more than the artist. Of course he will check multiple times to make sure his claims are correct. From what he said, he is taking legal action
@@dani2086 I'm not but it only takes a few mins to understand the whole situation in law perspective with this as an example :) ua-cam.com/video/zgsL5yW3bao/v-deo.html based on this video looks like he only has little footing on this case if it's gonna end in court since people who's also experienced in music were analyzing it (even isolated the beat patterns which was what he's complaining about) turns out, they were different. also if he's getting it handled under his lawyer i just hope he'd stop spamming tweets/ig post about basically generalizing kpop artists, bringing them down, and tagging unrelated people and be patient.
Dani YOU sound dumb af. You do realise right that many irrelevant artists make false plagiarism claims for money? Music experts with actual degrees in music production compared the two songs together and confirmed that there’s no sampling involved except for the similar sounding beats (the beat signature is still different though). Also beats cannot be copyrighted sis His argument is less about the technical aspects and more about the race card which is totally unnecessary but he’s using it to make fellow blacks agree with him. As half black I do not have to agree with his bullcrap tho. He can take legal action all he wants but this stupid case isn’t going to fly in the court.
I dont know if Carats know that Woozi said that they want to try a 2000s beat, and on those years have idk how to say it but like the same kind of beat thats why you can recognize that it's a song from the 2000s. I think the best it's just to let Pledis talk and don't cancel SVT without an argument. And don't drag another fandoms. Please be respectful with the artists.

Don't lie
@@yoonfany1997 ooh Don't Lie is a other great SVT song,thank you 💕💕💕
Yoona Tiffany they sound similar! but not to the point where it can be plagiarized. the song said 2000’s hip hop medley type in the description. and that’s what it shows, the music in 2000’s were like this. the medley is very different. coming from someone that studies music. The tempos are different. Using a metronome, the Cupid shuffle song is at 132. Left & Right is at 142. It’s a BIG difference. The keys are also different. They aren’t the same. The instrumentals in the song are also different in the medley. the whole song has a different meaning behind it as well.
Absolutely love the Cupid shuffle❤❤

Bruh...listen to the darn beat😑
Remi Doe ik bro..im not denying that the beat and lyrics was a little same with left&right..but i just think that it is common when some beats and lyrics a lilttle same with other songs cuz yeah there so many songs in this world music industry and how can u say there WONT EVER be ANY LITTLE similarity to other song bruh..it is just this man wants to claim smth by saying that this is plagiarism..i think there also some song that have a lilttle similarity to other song bruh..not just this (sorry if i hurt ur feelings bro, just saying my opinion) but if it true that this is plagiarism, then svt and pledis should take responsibility for it..i just hope that pledis would let the boys say smth about this matter..pledis really controlling the boys wth:/
The beat is a similar idea, but is completely different song.

This never happens to me only at home but never at my school. Tho
Chris that’s called sampling and you have to pay for it. We are tired of black artist getting their music stolen without credit
@@noobhaterturtleog3368 yup i know what that is. Im just pointing out that this issue doesnt strip them from the title of self producing idols
The beat from 0:16 and throughout this song, sounds the a little like Seventeen’s beat in Left & Right BUT!!!!!! Can you hear the *PAAM* at the end of each beats? That was the only part that (in my opinion) is similar. It sounds like a clap
Another things is that the counting for Cupid shuffle is (1,2)(1,2)(1,2)(1,2)while the counting for Left & Right is (1)(1)(1)(1).
@@nathalinenriquez6497 at some way, we can be sometimes be thankful for the staff; looking it in another way for some of their actions towards artists. let's just let the companies, artists and producers handle this situation. hopefully they handle it before it gets out of hand.

I was not expecting the random song from elementary school PE class, but I’m not mad
Fr
Also beats cannot be copyrighted sis
His argument is less about the technical aspects and more about the race card which is totally unnecessary but he’s using it to make fellow blacks agree with him. As half black I do not have to agree with his bullcrap tho. He can take legal action all he wants but this stupid case isn’t going to fly in the court.
