Spanish 21 is awesome. Love the match up and down card bonus and the ability to double then double again and surrender after doubling.

Any blackjack "variant" isn't in a casino because it's better for the player. They are all giving the house more advantage.
In CA, when you double and got a soft 17, you can double again. You would have gotten the dealers 4 to make 21.

I’m looking at a Spanish 21 chart that says you split 6’s when the dealer shows a 5 or 6.
Wonder which one is correct??

Glad you said you were using voice-over. I thought you were playing at like 5am and only you around. The voice-over video does take the atmosphere away but get why you have to do it
pop quiz, given the 10's have been removed, does the standard basic strategy still apply, or is there a modified version for Spanish 21 game? :)

You said this is their "version" of Spanish 21. I love Spanish 21. Started playing it at Hard Rock in Tampa, FL and there you can double down on any card. Plus I've seen you play Blackjack here and gotten paid 3 to 2, what's this 6 to 5 crap?
