I had the same idea to fit the Galen Leather zip n slip (or A5 folio) pen insert into it -except I went ahead with it & it fits wonderfully. I like it a lot as it will fit the 4 pens easily while keeping them separated. It also has no zips (unlike the zip n slip). I use mine as a pen case & it works wonderfully.
The brown looks so good! I got the camel, but I actually love the brown more. Oh also I think it would make a great watercolor kit case too. Thanks for sharing.

I’m using it as a watercolor setup. I have a travel palette in the main compartment along with a fountain pen for sketching and have three travel watercolor brushes in the front pocket. It’s all a perfect fit.

So a Tombow brush pen won’t fit? I’m looking for something to carry those on the go.
I think a Tombow brush pen would be too long for this case, but the regular pen "roll" from Superior Labor would probably accommodate them.
