Her friend wrote her back a little bit after that and told her that her parents thought it was a good idea if they broke up as friends. I just thought I should tell you all about that since you bring up the upper hand argument that some people will make just so they don’t have to listen to the other side of the story.
For the person with the Anti-Catholic Brother, who is a lapsed Catholic, I have a sibling who is lapsed, I once shared about the Theology of the Body with this sibling, this sibling didn't even realize that what was church sibling. so just in simple conversation throw in whatever little you do know about the Catholic faith if you find an open door. But also like Amber said, get to know your Catholic faith, so you can respond if he asks questions or respond with leading questions to whatever he says.

Could you all please please pray for me. I am really addicted to food and buying things online because I've tried for 4-ish years to grow closer to God and improve myself, but it isn't working and I feel discouraged like God isn't helping me (obviously that's not true but I just feel burnt out). I want to get married but I struggle meeting someone that I'm attracted to who is a good leader and man of God and the Catholic church. Thank you so much and God be with you.
Firstly, is your food craving an obsession? Is it making you overweight (according to vetted weight charts, not to any false perception), obese, or otherwise negatively impacting your health? You needn't answer me. It's just something to think about.
Secondly, is buying online putting you in debt? Do you enjoy what you buy? Is it worth the money you spend on it? Just things to think about.
