It was alittle better here. She was actually trying to stop the joker from bombing the UN and luthor when a member of the loa tried to kill joker. The member was actually a child so Barbara tried to stop her which basically led her to becoming like this. On the brought side the child got rehabilitated into orphan.

Exactly, it is terrible. Imposing a motherhood that way to Artemis, when she clearly has other plans. One thing is that she wants Lian from her aunt's place, another very different one that they want to make modify her life to take the role that her sister did not want or could not take.

Do you think it is possible that the only reason Artemis and Will were looking at each other was because deep down they remind each other about their missed loved ones? In “Private Security” Dick felt like Will was a good substitute for Wally West simply because of his red hair. Artemis could be feeling the same way because Will is a redheaded friend who is both humorous and caring just like how Wally was to her. Will could be viewing Artemis as a reminder of Jade because she is her sister and acts as a second mother for Lian. I really hope Jade realizes the errors of her ways and returns to the life with Will and Lian. I also really hope the third season will eventually explore more about what happened to Wally so that he can possibly return. Because in-laws dating each other is just completely messed up!

They've written this part of the story in an interesting way. Looking at Cheshire's character it makes no sense for her not to be there for her daughter unless she's being forced by someone. But then again if it was possible for her to return then they wouldn't have mentioned this whole Artemis/Will thing unless they want it to develop into some sisters fighting over a guy drama or a legit relationship. I'm personally against this choice it seems odd looking at their histories and really unlikely
I really don’t want Will and Artemis to get together. They can be close friends, and Artemis can be a role model for Lian without having a relationship with Will. Plus...it just is kinda weird.

Wally most likely isn't dead because Zatanna didn't actually find his spirit in the finale, which I feel like is a hint from the writers. Red Hood and Damian are also both in the show right now, just not as heroes.

Like after rewatching the previous episodes especially this one,YJ did sprinkle in some clues to hint at her betrayal. Not to mention,she didn't even apologize to Artemis or even say "hey,sorry I brought up a topic that your mom wasn't supposed to hear."
Her and Cheshire really suck. But Cheshire is entertaining even if she basically just left her kid to her little sister. Like the joker in the dark knight returns movie is one of the worst people ever but he's fun to watch on a screen.
They're honestly better off without her, but they should stop trying to push this Artemis and Will ship. It's weird as hell and makes them (and the majority of the fans) uncomfortable.
This show hits on a lot of hard truths in the way the relationships move. It's not straightforward and easy. The characters realistically change over time.

They promised us that Season 3 will be worth the wait. It not only is, but is a lot more Emotional than even S1 & S2 Combined. The "Years Skip" was a great idea. We not only can see them as even more Mature people, but also as Mentors for younger generations.

Old tigeress's last sentence shows her logic is since Jade, her older daughter will not come back, so Artemis has to fully play her sister's role includes taking care of Lian, being Lian's mother AND being Will's wife. In other words, aside of superhero life. The so called "normal life" that old tigeress wanted Artemis to have, is also not for the happiness of Artemis. It sounds more like she requires Artemis sacrifices her whole life to clean the debt of her irresponsible sister has made. It's beyond unfair. Therefore, at least in Artemis's case, she might try to be the replacement of Jade for her mother. But when she thinks through. With Superhero's life and all what she really wants. I love how well Kelly Hu differentiates the voices of both Jade and Paula especially since they're both mother and daughter and had similar life styles, i hope we someday can see an episofe og Paula as Huntress I'd like to see how much like Cheshire she was back then

By the way they're writing him there's no way they are bringing Wally back. And in my opinion that's a good thing. Wally's death had a huge impact on the entire show and all of its characters undoing that will essentially undo the character development since S2 it also guarantees that any future deaths will have no impact because that can just be bought back and all of a sudden you have a marvel scenario where nothing goes wrong to the extent that even when it does you know it's not permanent. Sometimes to have a better quality story you need the balls to sacrifice the perfect happy ending that everyone wants but knows isn't right.

The framing tho and positioning as Artemis and her mother argue At first Artemis is in frame with the family picture of will, chesire and their daughter but as her mother tells her that chesire will never come back she covers up Cheshire at the photo leaving only will and their daughter
This is one of the underlying threads of Young Justice that I love. It isn't afraid to show that while it may have it's rewarding days, and they are making a difference, being a hero sucks. It takes and it takes, and you can Never truly escape the Life. This has been a thread really ever since Kent Nelson and Naboo back in Season one, Wally and Artemis trying to leave the Life in season two, The relationship stress in Season Three, and numerous examples in season four including Cheshire, Zatara, and Garfield. Black Canary even addresses it in the finale of S4, and it's great to see the other side behind the masks, and seeing the people behind them.

Wally most likely isn't dead because Zatanna didn't actually find his spirit in the finale, which I feel like is a hint from the writers. Red Hood and Damian are also both in the show right now, just not as heroes.

They're honestly better off without her, but they should stop trying to push this Artemis and Will ship. It's weird as hell and makes them (and the majority of the fans) uncomfortable.
This show hits on a lot of hard truths in the way the relationships move. It's not straightforward and easy. The characters realistically change over time.

Actually, even though I hate the drama they've built, old tigeress claimed Artemis and Will should be a family is actually a security key for making sure they won't really go that direction. At least I feel that way. Old tigeress's last sentence shows her logic is since Jade, her older daughter will not come back, so Artemis has to fully play her sister's role includes taking care of Lian, being Lian's mother AND being Will's wife. In other words, aside of superhero life. The so called "normal life" that old tigeress wanted Artemis to have, is also not for the happiness of Artemis. It sounds more like she requires Artemis sacrifices her whole life to clean the debt of her irresponsible sister has made. It's beyond unfair. Therefore, at least in Artemis's case, she might try to be the replacement of Jade for her mother. But when she thinks through. With Superhero's life and all what she really wants. She will not move forward to WIll. Simply because she knows she is not her sister's replacement.
I love how well Kelly Hu differentiates the voices of both Jade and Paula especially since they're both mother and daughter and had similar life styles, i hope we someday can see an episofe og Paula as Huntress I'd like to see how much like Cheshire she was back then

By the way they're writing him there's no way they are bringing Wally back. And in my opinion that's a good thing. Wally's death had a huge impact on the entire show and all of its characters undoing that will essentially undo the character development since S2 it also guarantees that any future deaths will have no impact because that can just be bought back and all of a sudden you have a marvel scenario where nothing goes wrong to the extent that even when it does you know it's not permanent. Sometimes to have a better quality story you need the balls to sacrifice the perfect happy ending that everyone wants but knows isn't right.

This is one of the underlying threads of Young Justice that I love. It isn't afraid to show that while it may have it's rewarding days, and they are making a difference, being a hero sucks. It takes and it takes, and you can Never truly escape the Life. This has been a thread really ever since Kent Nelson and Naboo back in Season one, Wally and Artemis trying to leave the Life in season two, The relationship stress in Season Three, and numerous examples in season four including Cheshire, Zatara, and Garfield. Black Canary even addresses it in the finale of S4, and it's great to see the other side behind the masks, and seeing the people behind them.
