I was on 87 and 88 and my point of entry was in Subic during winter87 . SPent 3 monthonboard serving food & washing floor then I was an MM apprentice. I was removed for medical reason right before Kawait trip and remain in Yokosuka until it arrived home from Kawait. It was fun and short navy career though. Sorry I dont remember your name.
This was the Navy's best decade. I served 1980 to 2000. God ships, good shipmates good liberty.

The Reeves was originally DLG. I was a plankholder when she was commissioned at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. Didn't like her.
