90% of low profile switches sales come from arcade buttons, leverless controllers, and gaming keyboards from RAZR including its clone competitions. Kailh LPs v1s are heavily used on open source flatbox controllers, other than that I've never seen it used on computer keyboards
Really wish the sound tests weren't altered. I'd prefer a sound test, if it's going to take up more than 5 seconds, to be as accurate of a representation as possible when I'd be typing, not if I held it up to my ear, which obviously isn't how I type. If I wanted to hear the intricacies, I'd turn it up myself. Boosting it just defeats the purpose, especially when it's marketed as quiet, but the sound test just boosts that into not quiet territory (arguable, but you get the point ) Nice vid mate
definitely the most shockingly decent sounding low profile keyboard I’ve heard! I honestly think so many stock switches in prebuilts sound not to my preference since many use a transparent PC top. It’s always a wonder to me that more don’t use basically any other material that would give more body to the sound (like even a milky nylon)!
there are a lot more low profile switches out there, even in OEM/prebuilt boards. zorro, leobog, greetech, tecsee, huano, basically all of the manufacturers that make normal MX switches also make mid and low profile switches. it's not a lack of variety, but most people just aren't into low profile keyboards, i guess. it's a shame, because it's even difficult to find decent low profile and mid profile keyboards to try and test, but oh well.
this board is really stunning and great sounding, i think this might be the only lp board id think of buying. I hope though that someone sells blanks for the caps though, those legends are not that great
Would you consider doing a video on the Haimu Clipper switches (sea serpent and swordfish)? They’re really unique and it seems like nobody’s talking about them. I’ve been thinking of buying the Swordfish switches but I have no idea what they sound like, or if I’ll even be able to remove them from my hotswap board.
yoo, just wondering if you're planning on making a neo ergo video? According to the spreadsheet you're the only creator who got sent silver and I'm waiting to see a video on it before deciding which color I get :)
i got the lofree flow mostly out of curiosity because the kickstarter had all pom clickies which i'd never seen before. As my one low pro keyboard for reference though it's kinda a nice board to swap to every once in a while for a change of pace. both the flow and this one sound surprisingly good though
Pretty sure you can't use this keyboard in a slightly dark room!? Black keycaps with dark font color together with an awful looking font type makes this look like it was created by amateurs to be honest. I hope they offer a lot of choices here

Wow, your channel is so good, i'm amazed on quality and thoughtfulness of your videos examine topics nobody talks about.
Keep going! Great vid
All the cool brands are edging in 2024
They have 20 years of edging experience so you know this board is good

Very nice review... thank you! Do you know if there is a compatible shine through keycap for this Lofree EDGE? I really need a shine through keycap.

Guys, are there any shine-through keycaps for Flow or Edge?
Wildest yt intro I’ve heard in years

Shenzhen and HK are literally right next to each other xD

what does it use for stabs?
They look like special low profile stabilizers! I was pretty surprised haha
Sounds like the Novelkeys creams to me as It has that same scratchiness. Not much innovation, just a clean low profile keyboard from what I see.
