- Still a bunch of unanswered questions. Why would you only post part of this statement for free? Truly in @gbrsgroup fashion to put the full statement behind a paywall. How do you know the package James was carrying to his car in the security cam footage (which we haven’t seen) was the missing BCM lower. Did you ask James what package he was carrying? How do you know the package he was leaving with wasn’t just a shirt or something? Do you guys have some prototype 32k security cameras that could see the shipping label as he was carrying it? Is it atypical for James, the shipping manager to leave the building with packages to ship (firearms or otherwise)? And why is it the day you guys called the cops the UPS guy shows up with the missing package? Is it possible someone else messed up and James took the fall for it? What we do have is footage of the package being found in the office. We don’t have footage of the UPS driver.
Why didn't you guys talk to James before having him arrested? You had 22 days where the package was allegedly missing and unscanned and in all that time you never asked James about it. There’s bodycam footage of you saying you didn’t talk to him. Not to mention it was found within the day of James being arrested. Why'd you turn comments off (especially for so long)? It’s one thing not replying to comments under a lawyers recommendation, but turning them off because you can’t handle the criticism is something else entirely. Why'd you fire James after he was proven innocent? And most importantly, why have you still not apologized for putting an innocent man in handcuffs and leg irons.

UPS driver showed up with the package that was missing and not even scanned at all for two weeks, ten minutes after dude is arrested for jacking it and terminated from the job... I get it, they had to contact police and aft agents because if there's a missing gun and if they don't say anything and someone does a crime with it then the bloods on their hands. but I also think it was wrong for them to just fire the guy and he was innocent; I don't believe he's a racist at all. I'm going to share a true story with you all.. When I was in the (State Emergency Services) since November of 1995. Here in Australia. Is that when I put on those Orange Overalls.. Not matter what colour or nationality you were? You were just one colour. Because our job is to help whoever no matter what their colour or nationality is. Honestly, my theory is the guy made a genuine mistake and never shipped the lower for one reason or another. The FFL calls and says we never got the package and he realizes his mistake but thought he would get punished for it so he tried to run out and ship it really quick (why he is seen leaving with it).
He mistakingly dropped it at FEDEX, who then returned it.

How the fuck does it just show up
Well, in talking to people that own FFL‘s and do a lot of shipping, sometimes specific things like the numbers may get mixed up or backwards, or somebody may take something that was supposed to ship UPS to FedEx, and obviously if that package isn’t one of their packages, it can get kicked around in certain facilities until somebody finally grabs it and says this isn’t our package and then returns it to the sender. Shit like this happens all the time.what they did about it, is what separates them from everybody else who knows what the fuck they’re doing. These guys are clowns.

What is 100% certain is these dudes are s**t bags. People forget there are worse things for a person to be than racist.

Now, assuming he stole the gun is jacked up. But the body cam didn't show anything of race being party to the incident. Now, maybe some off camera activity will be brought to light in the lawsuit that is happening or will be. but i do think there is something off with GBRS as a company. A lot of drama is going on for a company that is supposely squared away and built by professoinals. Normally where there is smoke, there is fire and there seems to be a lot smoke at GBRS. 100% agreed on the racism thing. I try to live by not racist until proven racist. Besides I don’t really care that much what the motivations were to screw this guy over. Racist or not these dudes seem to be s**t bags. We’ll know for sure if/when the court case happens.

As a business owner with a FFL, I would like to make a couple of points. 1) I was audited by the ATF in February. They check our records to match up inventory coming in that we log and inventory going out that we sell. I am legally required by both federal and state law to immediately report a missing firearm. 2) Virginia is a right to work state and an employer can terminate an employee without explanation for almost any reason. 3) I will/would fire anybody that I do not trust. For all we know they asked the employee about the package and he lied. Maybe they told him do not carry packages to your car. It does not really matter, if there is no trust termination is the correct answer. 4) These guys spent their life focusing on being competent and professional, I very much doubt that skin color is part of their decision making process. To immediately jump to racism is moronic. 5) The ATF/Law enforcement will investigate the case and there are multiple different potential outcomes, we will see. 6) I do not think that they did anything wrong.
