My dad would have loved this film. He worked as a scientist for NASA and loved the universe. He passed away, almost ten years ago now. Interstellar made me think about him, about time, about family, all the big things really. The composer, Hans Zimmer, captured so much emotion in the soundtrack - and in this arrangement, I hope I did as well. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy it!
Huge respect! You captured so much emotion and versitality in the whole piece. you created a whole other beautiful breathtaking version in your own style of an already beautiful and amazing piece of music. I think your dad would be very proud!
For sure you did it, I love this adaptation as it keeps some of the things you said in the description like the "clock feeling". This film is my favorite film and it's nice to hear a refreshing version of the amazing OST it has!
My husband introduced me to your work when we first started dating and I'm still just so in love with what you do with music. Your work is exceptional.
Amazing. this song proves that tecnique and discipline are just the first step to transform music into pure emotion. this is just beauty in music. totally a blast for me.
People like you put the Ed Sheeran's of the world to shame. The art and emotion a single musician can communicate with a series of loops.... very nice. Beautiful.
Loop it up, baby!!! Gee how I wish I could make a playlist of you covering all my favourite soundtracks (like this one, Braveheart and LOTR)...but I know the incredible amount of work you must put into these arrangements would make that impossible. I just don't get how your channel gets as few views as it does, it's criminal. My favourite musician on youtube mate!
One of my favourite films and you did justice to Zimmer's epic musical journey. The percussive ticking really ties the sections together and maintains that almost frantic and overwhelming tension that time and space evoke. Bravo, sir, and a beautiful tribute for your father as well.
I finish up schooling in Dec..my next quest to play my bass that has been in the closet for to long. You and Charles and some Davie501 have my love for bass on overdrive..thank you. Your skill is thu roof..my mind is blown with each post I view.
you are an outstanding artist. your father would be so proud. I look forward to every arrangement you come out with and honestly, every single one has made my day. keep up the great work man and stay strong. :)
Man... i can't even begin to descibe how good this was, i usually don't comment on youtube but this time i really couldn't help it.. i mean dudee Hans zimmer and Zander Zon, it can't get much better than that.
Super like..Just loved this one.. Lovely use of Cello, looper, even the single high note on bass.. wow.. very emotional and take you to a different world.
Oh my god such a good movie, and this medly is incredible! Really makes you ponder and think and such a beautiful use of the instruments! What an "Interstellar" job!
Listening to this directly, after I immersed myself deeply in the study of space-time evolution (such a bain-tangling thing to do!), I felt my mind unwind and finally become relieved :D
Your talent is one of the best on UA-cam. I have been following and listening to many of your covers and honestly some of them sound better than the original ones. Interstellar is one of the top movies of all time and this soundtrack is definitely a masterpiece by Hans Zimmer but you have done an incredible job with your own taste. Bravo! You're the best bass player I'd say!
So beautiful. Your dad lives through the love you have for him. It's evident in the dedication of this masterful piece! Dr. Brand: When I say that love isn't something we invented. It's observable, powerful. It has to mean something. Maybe it means something we can't... yet understand. Maybe it's some evidence, some artifact of a higher dimension that we can't consciously perceive. I'm drawn across the universe to someone I haven't seen in a decade... Who I know is probably dead. Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it yet.
Hey dude, I've been watching you for a long time... I finally subscribed. I think this your best performance/production. You are very inspiring. I love the cello.
Awesome version! Love the music of interstellar! Such an underrated movie. There’s a great book written by Kip Thorne called “The Science of Interstellar”.
