1) metal heart. 2) balls to the wall 3) restless and wild 4) blood of the nations 5) breaker . Walked into a record store in 85 and asked what album they were playing in the store ,cuz it sounded great .it was Metal Heart. That summer of 85 they played the Variery Theatre here in cleveland. A historic old movie theatre that holds maybe 1200 people. Killer show. Metal heart tour. I remember the air conditioning was broken and it was abt 120 degrees in there, but it didnt matter. Classic show ill never forget
I was introduced to Accept in 1980 when my older brother bought home the self titled record (we called it I'm A Rebel) and fell in love with the band and made me a life long fan so I have a history and a soft spot for that album. love the U.D.O. records and I love the first 3 records with Mark Tornillo. Love how Martin refers the debut as Chick With Chainsaw lol we called it Lady Lou... lol. well, with that said... 5. Blood Of The Nation 4. Objection Overruled 3. Balls To The Wall 2. Breaker 1. Restless And Wild
My ranking for the Accept albums would be🤘 17. Eat The Heat 1989 16. Accept 1979 15. I’m A Rebel 1980 14. The Rise Of Chaos 2017 13. Humanoid 2024 12. Too Mean To Die 2021 11. Stalingrad 2012 10. Blood Of The Nations 2010 9. Objection Overruled 1993 8. Death Row 1994 7. Predator 1996 6. Blind Rage 2014 5. Russian Roulette 1986 4. Breaker 1981 3. Metal Heart 1985 2. Restless And Wild 1982 1. Balls To The Wall 1984
Just saw these guys in NJ a week ago and they were so good! Wolf was on fire! Like you said, he smiles through his blistering solos. We were very fortunate to meet him after the show. Great dude!! 🤘
Great show Pete, Martin, and Guitar Hack! I caught Accept later on in the week in Jim Thorpe. PA when Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Broken Teeth) filled in for Mark and he did a very good job! 1. Metal Heart 2. Balls to the Wall 3. Blood of the Nations 4. Restless and Wild 5. Stalingrad Thanks guys!
1. Balls to the Wall / 2. Metal Heart / 3. Restless and Wild / 4. Blood of the Nations / 5. (this is where I get expelled from the channel 😂) Eat the Heat! ...sorry, I really love that album, Glammy as it is. Thanks for the show! 🍺🤘
Martin and I almost always agree. I've always loved when heavy bands have some more pop songs with great hooks. I wore out a couple cassettes of Metal Heart as a teen. Screaming for a Love Bite just makes me feel young again.
Good show gentlemen, I don't know why I didn't get the notifacation , I guess I'm subscribed to too many channels lol My list won't vary much from you guys. 5. Russian Roulette 4. Breaker 3. Metal Heart 2. Restless and Wild 1. Balls To The Wall
1. Restless And Wild 2. Balls To The Wall 3. Metal Heart 4. Blind Rage 5. Blood Of The Nations My sixth would be Animal House. It was supposed to be an Accept album, but it became an U.D.O. album. In my eyes it is an Accept album. I love all their albums, even the first two albums, Eat The Heat, and the second Udo era.
Top 5. 1 being best. 1. Restless And Wild 2. Balls To The Wall 3. Breaker 4. Accept ('79 self-titled, chick with chainsaw) 5. Metal Heart Hard to rank 3 through 5. They are pretty equal. Sorry, nothing recent/modern. They're not bad records, I just don't think they can compete with the early records(minus "I'm A Rebel"). Thanks for the great discussion!
1. Metal Heart 2. Balls to the Wall 3. Blind Rage 4. Restless and Wild 5. Breaker I'd also like to mention the super mid-90's live album All Areas - Worldwide. Everyone is on fire, but I think this features Wolf's greatest performances. And U.D.O.'s debut album Animal House and Dirkschneider and the Old Gang's EP are more or less honorary Accept albums. Animal House is written by Accept, and D. & Old Gang includes three former Accept members. And I guess even the brand new Iron Allies' Blood In Blood Out with Herman Frank and David Reece - that could in another timeline be the current Accept.
Catching the replay since I'm on Mountain Time gents. Great, great episode. Laughed so hard when Hack said " Looking at Udo running around in his camouflage pants, he means business". That was classic 😂 I remember Restless and Wild was awesome and Breaker was a good album.

Great episode as always Hack. I'm a big Accept fan, so this was great.
I heard a cover of "Diary of a Madman" that featured Wolf. It is incredible.
Balls to the Wall is probably the most melodic album I've ever heard!
I was out to dinner. Catchin' the replay!
Thanks buddy. Cheers
Metal Heart is a perfect album!!!
I love Restless and Wild and Breaker. Don't care for the rest.
Breaker
Restless and Wild
Balls to the Wall
Objection Overruled
Death Row.
(In no particular order)
Was listening to Sabaton and Joakim Brodén's voice would fit great singing Accept's material (better than Mark's IMHO).
when martin ranked the albums of accept on sot, he had blood of the nations pretty far down.
All their albums up to around 88 is great. Lost them after that. For me..it wasnt Accept anymore.
1. Russian Roulette
