Morbin' time. That was a bit too meta. I've always liked Morbius and this has been a decent portrayal. I'm not sure about the Killer Croc version of the Lizard, I'm pretty sure he'd quick toss that tattered lab coat, but as a huge fan of Iron Fist and the old Heroes for Hire it's always great to see Colleen and Misty pulled into things. But the issue felt like not much happened. Midnight Sons and Union Jack have probably been my favorite so far. It's a shame because the Bloodhunt was fertile soil for excellent horror writing and I don't think the current staff was up to it. Doc Strange has seemed completely wasted as he usually has his own side machinations going on. Namor could have been eldritch horror as he plumbed the ancient secrets of Atlantis. Hulk... I'm still curious about that one. My point is a lot of Bloodhunt has been cartoony fun but not very horror. Wrong writers.
So far, so good. That said, one-shot: The Lizard [Dr. Curt Connors] vs Sauron [Dr. Karl Lykos] vs. Sasquatch/Doc Samson [Dr. Walter Langkowski/Leonard Samson]. Come on, you know it would be animalistic. Still, I forgot to ask; I thought Blackout 'was' a vampire? Were the writers telling us he likes biting people for real? Sabertooth and he should start a club together, "Biters-r-Us."
Glad to see morbius getting to morb in real life
